Its a btiful place but too much crowded. No proper parking available. It took 3 hours to park the car. There was a long queue in front of the public restroom. Its better to visit it off season .

This beautiful place is one of the popular spots because of its striking views. It is a huge landscape surrounded by ample amount of evergreen trees. It is a perfect place for para-gliding. There are numerous recreational activities and places to eat. The most interesting part is the ambience of the place. However, the lake is on the verge of shrinking.

A very beautiful place covered with trees and greenery. It is also known as mini switzerland of india. It is also known for horse riding and paragliding. Proper parking place is not available their. Avoid visiting their in rainy season.otherwise it is a nice and peaceful place to visit.

Once you visit this place, the charisma of the place will never erase from your memory. Food is a bit costly but it is okay. I wish every travel fanatic must visit this mini-Switzerland once in a lifetime.

Nice place. Much commercialized, but the beauty is superb, in the winters, when I got to see the frozen lake, making the place all white. I could only imagine, how much beautiful, it would be, if the place is remote with very less people. That would be gem in the middle of the forest. But the place is very much in demand, with lot of people visiting here & lot of business, activities, selling of products, etc going on. Resulting in lot of vehicles, traffic, mud, jams, horns, which takes away some of the serenity & beauty of the place. But, even then, a frozen lake is beautiful, which you mesmerize most. The place is, though quite clean, even after so much of human activities going on. Worth a visit.Share your like, if the review is appreciated, for it would mean that it is helping others out there exploring.

Omg.. Don’t get deceived by the pictures you have seen of this place earlier. Poorly maintained and lake was full of garbage and shrubs. The grass was very dry and yellowish. Very disappointing.

This is a small hamlet valley in the midst of mountain forests and high peaks. Its beautiful when cloudy and even prettier when sunny! Too many tourists, but it still holds on to its beauty. Happy to see, tourists have littered less here.

Very beautiful place

Its a beautiful & must visit place. Its full of greenary. There people is also good. U can click photos with a rabbit or a bird with unlimited photograph with it.

Its a beautiful sloping plane surrounded by alpine evergreens. Amazing spot to sit and soak in natural beauty. There was very little water in the lake when we visited and there was no snow in mid-November. So if you are going for skying, better go in December or January. The road to Khajjiar is quite dangerous. Its wise and highly recommended to go with an expert driver. Washroom facilities should be improved. Food quality at food joints is just so so. I didnt like tea at all.

Nice place with scenic beauty.The place looks beautiful when it is covered with snow or when the grass is actually green.If you are visiting in winter and there isnt snow then the place doesnt look attractive.Paragliding costs 1600 INR here.

Very small lake in the middle of kajjiar lake.visited place in the month of July, cant find it much attractive. Very less water. One boat for ride.. but not enough area to explore..

Very nice place-Without Snow visit only with Family unless it feels like normal Garden.But in snow its total Owsum place. you can even enjoy the journey and place is too beautiful.

A Picturesque place. The place is huge filled with greenery and a lake at the centre. The park is amazing and one can spend a couple of hours enjoying the nature or playing adventure sports. But the lake is in a very sorry state. Very poorly maintained, it needs immediate attention. The view definitely makes it feel like a mini switzerland.

During winters the lake dries up and the lush green grasses too were not prominent due to the cold weather. Liked the serene environment and the stalls selling the bhaijias were amazing and complimented the chilling weather.

A very peaceful and heavenly place. We went there at about 9a.m. The sunlight was bright, snow had melted and the scenerio was just perfect. It seemed like we had suddenlg emtered paradise.Though these days population is more. And photographers keep asking you to click photos.But it is a very nice place. No wonder why Khajjiar is called the Switzerland of India.

Situated at just 23 kms form Dalhousie at a height of 6,430 ft full of pine and cedar trees, Khajjiar was originally developed as a golf course by the British. Its a few hours drive from Dalhousiej. Can spend a quality time with friends and family. The place has a lot to offer when visited during Nov- Feb with its lush green surrounding.

Khajjiar or the mini Switzerland is a very famous tourist spot and it truly is a masterpiece of nature. You cant just describe its beauty in words, it is a feeling that you have to experience for yourself. An amazing place for photography and for adventure, you can do things like horse riding, paragliding, wear traditional dresses and some more adventurous sports.Giving it 4stars because of the traffic, which is so annoying if you get stuck in it.

Beautiful scene. Green lavish lawn. No water when we visited. Horse ride is available. Has good restaurants. Chat is available beside Lake. Nearby is one statue of Shiv approximately 108 feet tall near Jagdamba mata temple. From this temple you can watch valley. You might see paragliding from here. Dont forget to visit khajji Nag temple right at the khajjiar lake.
