Recently started seeing a doctor here. Although you have to pay a fee, it is worth it for more serious issues as they really spend time on it instead of giving you just 5-10 minutes and not investigating your unique condition. I dont mind appointments running a bit late because I understand they take the time with each patient. But you should be prepared for this.

Have a great relationship with my Doctor. Service second to none. Highly recommend this practice.

Great General Practice in south Brisbane region. My family came to this practise for last 3 years and never had any problems. The doctors are great especially Dr Hossein. The receptionist are very caring and friendly. I had an emergency situation on Saturday 1st of February where I did not book an appointment to see any of the doctors but needed the latest blood test. The receptionist on duty was so kind and helpful that she went out of her way to try and get me the latest blood tests with the doctors available. I recommend this practise to everyone.

I had a skin check at Kenmore General Practice. Dr Hossein was great. The receptionist was friendly and polite.However no sheets or examination tissue rolls on the bed, no cleaning of the bed in between patients, which is not hygienic, especially during this COVID19 pandemic.

About 2 years ago, l posted a review basically complaining about being kept waiting well past my appointment time. I feel that l should retract that post as l appreciate that the doctors attending to patients often cant foresee how long their consultations will last.I usually see Dr. Tram Nguyen who is very caring and competent. The ladies on reception also try hard to attend to callers and patients.

Last week I arrived for my appointment early and in a lot of pain. I can not thank you enough, all staff on that day, for taking care of me and trying to help me feel comfortable. Dr Tram Nguyen you are truely a personable, thorough supportive doctor. Thank you for checking in on me the next day with your phone call. Your professionalism, concern and service was and is really appreciated. I am so grateful!

Have been a patient of this practice nearly all my life as the doctors provide a high quality and thorough service. They leave no stone unturned and you leave knowing the care has been genuine and considered. Its hard to find a good quality service of any sort these days, however Kenmore General Practice is a place that doesnt fail in this regard. Particular recommendations for Dr Alan Chua and Dr Tram Nguyen who meet all of my high expectations and have a good bedside manner.

Doctors great, receptionists are very rude

Very good practice. I initially came here with my husband and daughter last year. My daughter had a very bad cough. The female doctor who saw her was very thorough in her diagnosis, and very kind and compassionate. I came yesterday and saw a different female doctor for a general check-up. I was also impressed by her attention to detail and the thorough manner in which she conducted the check-up. Very happy with the respect and compassion I was shown. Will definitely return again.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thats our favourite centre for our kids.

We went to this clinic because its close to our house. Seriously they cant get worse than this, we needed to have a referral to a maternity hospital it took them 4 visits to write a referral to an hospital and they referred us to the wrong one, than we received a call from them asking if we want a new appointment for them to check our options. They didnt even recognize their mistake and refer us to a new one but they wanted us to book a new appointment and pay again for a referral.... I am not even mentioning how incapable they are to answer your questions... Please do yourselves a favor and go to another clinic.....

Made an appointment a week ago as this was the earliest date available only to be told on arrival that they have no record of my appointment! Very unprofessional. Will definitely look for another practice in the area.

Im pretty tolerant. I get that mistakes happen everyday. But if you enjoy being treated like a number by a disorganised and rude practice who apparently are in it for the money, then this practice is for you.The last time I went to this practice, the reception stuffed up and the doctor left for the day while I was waiting in the waiting room.Over an hour later they then squeezed me in between appointments with another doctor, as Id taken time off work and needed a scan for an injury, plus an eye issue and a flu injection and had specifically pre-booked a long appointment. This doctor was rude and had attitude for some reason, telling me to hurry up in a fully annoyed way when attempting to raise the eye matter.They charged me $110, which I considered not paying, but I paid.Next time I needed to see a doctor, I contacted them and asked if they would refund the $39.90 gap from the previous appointment - as it had clearly been sub-standard and they had admitted fault.The responses I got included:- A hastily put together letter saying theyd had staff training to address the issue.- A letter from the rude doctor saying that reception was at fault and he did nothing wrong.- A conversation (that I had to initiate) from their practice manager who told me that Id seen a doctor, so why did I think I deserved a refund?I get the way this practice runs - it is all about the money, and very little about helping people.If you are after a reliable and professional doctor for your family, there are plenty of better options in the area.

Wow. Really rude on the phone. Im not even a patient of theirs just called to see if they had any appointments I got an agressiveno! We dont! *beep beep beep*Could have been a little politer. And not hung up on me. Wont be bothering with this place.

Have used them for years but of late, doctors dont keep their appointment time, often going beyond half an hour.There are many more medical centres in the area since l first used this centre. Time to try a new one.

Dr gives good caring service but consistently more than an hour wait when you have an appointment and have rung to ask if they are on time.

Doctors(have seen female doctors) are helpful but in the disabled toilet there were so many flies that was disgusting. When I reported it to the reception one of receptionists said we know. Very unprofessional response. You dont expect to see flies in the toilet at the clinic as it says how clean they are.

Really upset with this centre. After going for many years with all my family I have had no choice but transfer us all to another centre after my son received his flu shot and ended up with an infection under the skin in the shot site and was on antibiotics for 10 days (he is 2years old). I have asked the practice manager to investigate this and she assured me she would contact me but I have not heard anything from her, as I was told by another doctor there it was an infection under the skin due to the injection procedure. Our normal doctor there dr dalsania is absolutely fantastic and I wish we didn’t have to leave this centre as he was such a great family doctor and always on time.But I have no choice now after what has happened. Also always a long wait with the nurses and some other doctors there you could wait up to an hour. Some reception staff are quite rude and some are very polite. There is a beautiful new centre in Kenmore plaza that is much better!!

Last week my 2 daughters went for a skin check, one daughter wanted 1 spot checked, the other daughter was worried about her spots and it was her first skin check; the visit lasted no more than 10 seconds and we were presented with 2 accounts to pay (one bulk-billed). Where is the professional duty of care? The regular dr takes close to 1/2 hr to do the check on 1 person. Before I made this appointment I asked if the dr was also a skin specialist and the answer was yes. I fear the thought of a non-specialist conducting the check. Not happy at all.

I would like to highly recommend one of the doctors at Kenmore General Practice: Dr Oshadi. She is one of the most thorough, caring, dedicated doctors I have ever met. I first went to see her to get a second opinion on recurring ear infections in my 1.5 year old daughter. She immediately gave me a referral to see an ENT and from there she ended up getting grommets and her adenoids out.. A few weeks ago I took my daughter to her again and after listening to her chest recommended that I go to the lady cilento emergency department as she thought she might have pneumonia.. The doctors there told me she had a virus and there was nothing to worry about. To double check though, they did a chest xray and found pneumonia!!We are moving to Melbourne in a few weeks and I am so sad to be leaving this practice and Dr Oshadi. The reception staff are lovely too :)

DONT go here! Play symptoms down, scan you over without much care and then rip you off for the pleasure, only later to find out from actual professionals that the issue was actually very serious.

Great family practice, all the doctors are very skilled and caring. Recommended.

Called for an emergency appointment at 3:40pm this afternoon as I suspected my 10 year old was suffering from appendicitis. First had to wait for 10 mins for the phone to be answered. The receptionist comes on and then asks me if I can wait further. On telling her that I was already on call for 10mins she told me that she had a number of people waiting in front of her. After another wait for 5 mins the rude lady came back on the call and told me that there were no appointments in Kenmore and that I should go to Taringa or I could come and wait to be seen by one doctor who was going to finish at 4:15pm. She further added that there was no gurantee that my son would be seen. I dont understand why would you ask a patient to come in if you are not going to be seen. I got my son seen by another doctor at another surgery who confirmed that indeed it was appendicitis that he was suffering from. Prescribed him antibiotics and advised us to take him immediately to the hospital if condition deteriorated. Even here I had sit and wait to see the doctor but it was guaranteed.My experience previously has been great with the doctors here. I would have preferred the receptionist telling me to take my son to the hospital emergency rather than ask me to come with him to the surgery with no guarantee of being seen.

Turned up at 12:45pm on a Saturday and the doctor had gone home already despite their advertised close time of 2pm. Absolutely useless.

With cool charactered doctor, the comment was not bad!

Waited an hour before giving up, no sympathy from the dragon at the front desk. Couldve at least told me to grab a coffee or something.

My wife had a $75 two-minute consultation with a skin specialist....never again!

I was humiliated in the reception area by one of the doctors when she loudly implied I was lying about waiting for an x-ray report. Never returning to this medical center.

Been going here for years, doctors have always been very friendly.
