In 1862, the school was started as Middle VernacularSchool in collaboration with Mr. Beabré, the then DistrictMagistrate of Mymensingh district. Then the school wastaught in English. In 1892, Middle Vernacular School wasrecognized as Middle English School The lower secondaryschool in the English language was established. As aMiddle English School, from 1892 to 1912, I got many goodfame in Mymensingh district. Among the subjects wereBengali, English, Mathematics, History, Geography, Islamand Hinduism. Then the school got its name as KanduraM.E. School. Kandura M.E. in 1844 In order to upgrade theschool to high English school, Mr. Shree Ranada KumarChowdhury, the landlord of four and a half anne, living inDhaka, took the initiative of Shri Akshay Kumar Gupta incharge of the then officer-in-charge of Kendua. DistrictMagistrate took part in raising money for Kendua HighSchool in the village Mr. Speari-Sastri village. Inrecognition of his contribution in promoting high school in1914, the Kandua residents of the district of Mymensingh,the then District Magistrate, Mr. H.E. Spray IcS Whodecided to join the school name. [1]During the abolition of British imperialism, during the non-cooperation movement of non-cooperation between Indiaand India, anti-English protesters became financiallyinadequate. In order to overcome the financial deteriorationof the school, application for assistance and assistance isbeing made inside and outside the school area. In the year1926, according to the letter submitted by ProfessorMahim Chandra Chowdhury of Pala Chowdhury ofChitholia village, Chitolia village received a grant of Tk 4000based on the assurance of receiving Tk 4000 in a session ofthe school committee held on 06-1-1926, after getting thename of the school. The name of the school with the nameof a flock is Kendua spray-ins Tutition instead of Kandua-Jayehri-Spray Institution . [1]Since 1961, there is a chance for science education inKendua High School. As the school is under the bilateraleducation plan, significant government grants are receivedfor scientific equipment, furniture and school-housedonations. As the school is involved in governments multi-purpose development plan in 1966, the scope of study ofhumanities, science and agricultural science andcommercial branches has improved. Since 2011, the girlshave the opportunity to study as well as boys in schools. Inthat year 30 girls were enrolled in class 6. Currently, thereare about 100 girls studying in the school.
