Course is beautiful and well-kept, but very challenging for us novice players. Other than the difficulty of the course, everything else made our day. Staff and Marshalls here were so kind and friendly, and we enjoyed our food at the grill.

A great golf course in Kelowna made better by as Eagle from the fairway bunker on the 15th. A first for me! I will play here again for sure.

We order from Black Mountain Grill a couple times a month, the food is so good! We order on Skip the Dishes and it always arrives hot and well presented.Try their beef dip or Cajun chicken burger, you won’t be disappointed!

They cheaped out and crammed a tight course into the space they could have done better with. Don’t make this a “destination” if you’re only golfing for a few days. Sandwiches are amazing, tho.

Great course and great conditions. A shame they dont have a driving range or practice facility. Also, the course does play a big short. The front 9 is tricky, the back 9 is muchore forgiving and you can go low.

Love the course, great clubhouse, nice piece of earth, and excellent views! The staff here ate unbelievable, always make us Rockets folks feel very welcome! I for one, love the views up there! Feels a little bit like a lost untouched piece of earth we get to play golf on! Phone early as they are very busy in the summer! Hole is an amazing drop down Par 3...ENJOY Okanagan Golf!

Enjoyable golf course to play. Many challenging and scenic holes.Golf greens fair but demanding. Arrived late for tee time (2 stroke penalty 😕) however the staff went out of their way to get us off which they did without any fuss. Good guys👍🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️🏆

We didnt get to tee off until 5 minutes after our tee time as the group in front of us was still going. The golf marshall harassed us to hurry up at the third hole and proceeded to watch us the entire hole. We were all playing at pace given the time we got to tee off at. Ruined the experience for us.

Great medium size Golf Course. Not too hard not too easy, lots of sand, variety of hills, competitively-priced and friendly staff.If only there was signage/legends at each T-Box instead of those little booklets :-|

I give 3 stars because when I asked for a yardage book, the proshop said they don’t have. When we got to the 1st tee, a single man who joined us has a yardage book and he said it was provided by the proshop. I reckon the pro shop staff is discriminating Asian women like myself and my friend.

I was thoroughly impressed with the staff as they were very welcoming and friendly, the course was in amazing condition, I definitely want to come back and enjoy.

We teed off at 07:15, no one ahead of us, and what a pleasure playing this course. Greens are well kept and the speed is fair. Gorgeous scenery. Great value and after nine in less than two hours we went for a tasty breakfast afterwards. Loved it.

Attentive waitress. Food came quickly. Meal was good.

Under 4 hours pace of play. Greens were quick. Excellent day.

Our favorite local course, reasonably priced (especially when you have their players card) and relatively easy to get tee times when you want. A beautiful, well managed and challenging course that is fun to play. Staff are great and the food in the club house is consistently good.

We live in Black Mountain and have been coming to the restaurant (we dont golf) since it opened. Our extended family has celebrated many specials occasions here. That being said, we were there for Mothers Day this year, and have never enjoyed the food, nor the service as much. A big shout out to Paige, who provided excellent service and helped to create a wonderful, happy atmosphere.

This place gets 5 stars on its value compared to other courses around. Its such a good course, with a great layout. Its not long, but it needs a bit of thought in places. Its the right balance of challenging without being over the top. My only complaint is the start area and warm up nets around the 1st tee is always so busy and feels cramped.

Played Black Mountain tonight,18 holes. Service from when we checked is was sub par. I would expect better service from a cheap par 3 course. We had to find our own cart, no food or beverage service on the course, no one to welcome us and let us know anything about the course. No course marshals on course to ensure golfers were moving along. We’re told to use and “app” to order food, which doesn’t exist yet. Called in a good order when on the 8th hole. And still had to wait 40 mins for food before going out on 10. No compensation offered even when asked if they would bring us our food so we could continue golfing. Were told we could have our money back and have nothing if we wanted to continue golfing so we could get our back 9 in before dark. Course was a great course but would never return because of the terrible service this club provides. Could really use someone who cares about the place to make it succeed.

Today another great fun round at the Mountain of Black! (:(Sept 27/21)Food good too as usual but please please does it have to be just country music on only, always!...? PLEASE mix up the music to everyones liking...smiles and Smails. (Caddyshack reference).This review below one year ago too...Course was plush yesterday and in such fine shape. I try and play Blk Mtn about 6 to 8 times a year, each year, and always get the Players card. Have for 3 years straight now and which if you do not know is a very good deal. I also enjoy their season ending event and am signed up again for this end of Oct. A thank you for the above average to very good service each time and non snobby like many other courses I stopped going to. Thanks kindly and see you on the 28th! This course is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained, however, our groups experience was rushed and frustrating as we set out as a foursome followed by two groups of 2 and a group of 3. We were being hit into. Not a nice experience at all. We will remain active at both Gallaghers and Tower Ranch where timing is of importance. And yes we were keeping pace. We are all golfers.

Beautiful course and challenging! Was a lot of fun to play on but wouldnt recommend it if your a just starting to play golf as the fairways are very narrow and its not a cheap place to play. Beautiful scenery though in the hot Okanagan so get a couple beers from drink cart and bring some sunscreen.

Love this course. A lot of elevation changes and some blind shots to keep you focused.

This is the spot for those wanting a normal wine and dine atmosphere- amazing waitresses and bar staff, (yes, you too, Paige!) Eonderful menu with kitchen staff who know how to fulfill those requests, and- lets not forget, YOU can get hot dogs!! (A-la-care fixings too). You need to enjoy their patio.

Lots of wildlife. Well kept greens and fairways. Challenging layout without being frustrating. Old growth trees offer good protection from the sweltering July sunshine.

This has to be the best course in Kelowna,which is saying alot,great front nine,real risk verus reward set up,lots of elevation change,back nine tighter fair ways,flying over back of greens can add strokes via lost balls,most greens require up and down approach as greens are well guarded by bunkers front and back,great staff and maybe best beef dip anywhere,when Im in Kelowna (big thanks to my buddy Eric who makes it possible) Ill play 3 out of five days at this course

Wife and I did Date night deal on Saturday and loved the course and staff. We are not the best golfers and felt very welcome at the course. First time golfing in Kelowna and glad we chose this course. Very well maintained and stunning holes and views.

Beautiful golf course with great view

There is construction on top of one of the ridges overlooking the course. Massive boulders were knocked off the ledge by the machinery working above and launched across the fairway. It happened twice! We informed the marshals immediately. Upon coming back to the clubhouse, not much was mentioned and or offered to help the situation (after spending almost $200 dollars on the round, rentals, and food/drink this was disappointing). Needless to say, golf at your own risk...

My favourite championship course in the Okanagan. Great design, challenging, always enjoyable. Well maintained. Nice bar-restaurant with nice views.

This is a very quaint and scenic venue with food tastes for every pallet, staffed with knowledgeable people who have your best experience in mind.

Course was in great condition, and the club house manager Chris K was a stand up guy giving us a refund on a thunderstorm rain out. Highly recommend going to black mountain golf course.

Ya know I dont normally like to leave bad reviews however I cant let go of the horrible experience we had trying to eat at The Grill at Black Mountain Golf Club Aug 16th 2019.We sat down at 5:50 pm for our 6 pm reservation. Our waitress took our order about 6:10 all seemed ok...We ordered beverages, 8 appetizers and 1 steak...The appetizers finally starting arriving around 7:30 and then about every 5-10 minutes until finally the Steak arrived about 8:15 (after everyone else had finished their food and half our table had to leave) and it was rare (it was ordered medium well) by the time it was returned 8:35 we had to leave...Our server Margaret was exceptional and tried hard to get the kitchen to produce our food. I dont really know why everything took so long as it was not very busy (there were only a few tables inside and about 6 tables outside)This place needs help.. I hope they get it before their reputation does them Inn..

Pro Shop never told me of the loyalty card option, $110 to play golf yesterday( same price as the loyalty card, which entitles you to a free round of golf and discount rates for future green fees). Kind of shady to not let your customers know of free value. $110 was way overpriced for the course the greens were horribly beat up, pitted, burnt, not healed from punching. Predator Ridge charges $99 for locals right now who the hell do these people think they are lolololololol

Stunning Views, challenging track.

Went for a bachelor party outting. 6 of us with a side by side booking. We werent holding anyone up, being disruptive or rude so we decided to play a best bakl scenario off the tee and go from there - nothing formal. Warden approached us and demanded we break up into a 4 and 2 group leaving my soon to be father in law and brother in law as the twosome. Proceded to watch us like hawks as we played the rest of the 6 holes. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice relaxing round. Been playing many many courses from Kimberley to Delta and this was the first and only time ive seen this. With the course as dead as it was, and with the general age of the group, I would expect much more from an establishment such as this. The most disappointing thing is I have been wanting to play this course for a very long time and it has left such a bitter taste in my mouth from this one experience that I couldnt possibly recommend it to anyone, not could any of the out of province guests that were there. Go spend the extra time to play in Penticton.

Slow play, 3 holes took 1:15 mins. course was well maintained. Food was horrible, burger looks like it was reheated and burned. My dogs had a treat for dinner tonight. Would not eat here again.
