St. Thomas Ashram is a Capuchin Monastery near Krishnapriya in Kavalam village of Alappuzha District. The holy relics of St. Antony of Padua is kept here. Holy Eucharist is celebrated daily and Novena on all tuesdays. There is a small church (santhom church) which caters the spiritual needs of more than hundred families. This church is an ancillary of St. Teresas Parish church Kavalam, which comes under the Archdiocese of Changanacherry of Syro Malabar Catholic Church.
