It was a really a nice experience at this hotel ( Trimrooms Katra) at such an affordable rate (@674 only) with all the basic amenities. In addition to that free Pick up from Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra railway station and free drop to Vaanganga. This hotel is fews meters away from the railway station.I booked my room at Booking.com and if I talk about food here, specifically breakfast, I would give 5***** for such a delicious Aalu Paratha with Curd, really amazing👍Hotel manager and other staffs were really cordial and supportive. They guided me really well about the place. So really thanks to all the hotel staffs. Best part was that, they have their own Maruti Van so that you can ask for pick up and drop.

We have taken this room for bathing purpose only. We have reached early in the morning, next day. I have already spoken to owner about our late check in. Check in was easy. Staff promptly provided the room. Room was small but decent. Bed sheet was dirty and had holes in it. TV was not operative. We did not complain about it as we had no intention to stay longer. Bathroom was clean and hot water was ample. However, some fixtures related to toilet seat needs repair. Owner has also arranged for helipad drop, off course with additional charges. Owner was kind enough by offering us extended stay after the darshan. Thus, we have returned to hotel after the darshan. But to our surprise, same owner asked us to pay for extended stay. We vacated the hotel immediately. Had he not offered in the morning, we would have not planned to returned. That was little shocker. Hence we have reduced our rating by one start. Hotel is near to railway station, just across the road inside a street. Hotel board is not visible in the dark. Hotel staff also offered free cloak room facility , which we availed. Tea and coffee was good. For short stay, this hotel is good and I will come there again.

This hotel was a great find near Katra Railway Station and I will definitely be back the next time if MATA RANI Will CALL US AGAIN to visit. The room was reasonably priced and clean. I highly recommend this place. Hotel owner Mr. Madan is very courteous and gentleman. Even Manager Mr. Subhash is very cooperative. Overall the stay was wonderful. Good luck AAA Continental Team.

At First View it is like WOW but after 1 hr. when i turn on AC it is not Wotking coz Staff switched from Outside. Thn after many request they turned it on but The behaviour of staff is like they are giving us service at free of cost. Secondly do not choose this hotel coz it is too far from Banganga and as said they they ll deny to drop at Banganga. It will cost around you extra Rs. 1000. Also you have to carry ur Baggage at ur own shoulder. No lift or any Preffered Food Service there coz they dnt have Restro. also we ordered tea and Upto now i havent get.I am a regular Traveller and i suggest Not to Go there. Rest Choice and Money is your also Headache ll be urs too...Keep Exploring.Go Love.

AVOID USING THIS HOTEL.everything was poor. if there would be an option of ZERO (0) rating then definitely I would had given that.Wrost experience I ever had as the staff was having no atticates how to behave with females and children. Worst experience one could ever had and even the manager was agruing with us and using abusive language.Talking about the services :- we had booked 3 AC room but the AC was not working. No basic facility like telephone and tv was not working also it has water issue for the bathroom. When I asked to manager for water he denied in the next morning time said I am unable to provide water for bathroom purpose. Also he said that he has wifi facilities but it was working only on reception area. No bacis facilities were available and when we complained regards this, the manager starts shouting on us and started saying like do whatever you wanna do, we are not going to refund your amount.SO KINDLY AVOID THIS HOTEL IN KATRA.

Good for stay near the katra station. Cab service is free for their customer. They provide cab for pickup and drop to baanganga and tarakote and helipad. Walking distance from shri mata vaishno devi katra railway station. We are four friends and we stay in room no. 104 with three beds (one is double bed and one is single bed). Early checkin is free here. We checkin on 21 sep 2019 5:15am and checkout on 22 sep 2019 8:45am because we have to catch our train at 9:00am and they charge us ₹800 only. Checkout time is 12 noon. Room is with ac and geyser with 24 our power backup. Overall good cheap and best hotel.

VERY POOR.There was no room service available. AC provided for family room was not adequate (only 1 ton window AC). Only 1 fan was there in the family room & that too not working properly. There was frequent power cuts as a result AC was not working for most of the time. Food comes only after 1.5 - 2 hrs. after ordering (Only quality of food was good). The hotel is under construction. There is only 1 family room in the hotel & that too in the top floor (3rd floor) & there is no lift; so its difficult for aged persons. Cook of the hotel goes out after 5 pm, so no dinner available. Washroom was dirty & having very foul smell. Towel provided was also dirty. Bedsheets were dirty & even requesting (3-4 times) the staff to change them, hotel staff didnt change the bedsheets. Overall very poor hotel. I wouldnt recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. This hotel is not worth one star.

Posting review for six bedded room. Room is good and has AC installed. Bathroom is OK. Fan doesn’t work properly and for this sized room, one fan is insufficient. Its on 3rd floor and only way up is by stairs. This will be an issue once you return from vaishno devi trek and had travelled all the way by foot. Service is very poor. Hotel doesn’t have clean and ironed bedsheets. In our 3 days of stay no one cleaned the room even once. Working of AC depends on mercy of the staff. They will frequently switch it off from the ground floor. Wasn’t able to sleep till 4 am on one night due to this. Actually the water tank needed to be filled and both ACs and motor can’t work simultaneously. We waited for 45 minutes and pleaded them to switch on the AC. They did, only to again switch it off after half an hour. Also, No one picks the reception phone. So be prepared to make multiple visits to the ground floor. Hotel doesn’t have their own restaurant. You can only expect tea from them, and depend on nearby dhabas for food. Wifi is on ground floor and not in rooms. Staff arranged a Van at starting of our trip to vaishno devi which is appreciable.

Never visit this hotel in future. Very bad experience, zero for cleanliness, staff is good but after so many calls they listen you, no balcony in the room beware to open the gate of balcony, dont ask your child to open the gate off balcony overall baad zero for cleanliness, minus point from my side...👎

Situated near katra railway station, is little inside the village...so to travel to Vaishnav Dham Chadhai..one has to travel to Chowk..for which one has to pay another Rs.150. Service is below average, you have to give multiple calls to the attendant. TV was there without any connection, ventilator in the washroom without connection. No towel etc.
