Amazing budget hotel for all sort of tourists. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast are the major qualities. And yes; their terrace makes one to stay as long as possible where they have a mini bar, mini library and kitchen adjacent to the rooftop where you can go cook your own food, boil tea or eggs!
Excellent location in Kathmandu, on the door step of the main strip in Thamel. The largest rooms with private bathrooms are reasonably priced. The bathroom is small but the hot water supply is excellent. The owner is very helpful in arranging activities around Kathmandu and beyond.
I completed the Annapurna circuit with Pariwar and it was perfectly organised from start to finish. Giri was amazing and planned the trip for me. He was professional, kind and had a wealth of knowledge on the trekking there! My guide for the trek was a guy named Tek! He was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable and I couldn’t hav asked for a better experience with him by my side! I would highly recommend this company and everyone I met who work with these guys were unforgettable and I feel I have found friends for life! If you are interested in trekking through Nepal this company can accommodate all of your needs! 5 star service with a smile! Thank you Giri, Tek and everyone I met at Pariwar you guys are legends!! Keep up the great work! See you guys again in the future!!!Dan Aldridge
Value for money budget hotel in the heart of Thamel. Friendly staff who are very helpful. The entrance is a bit difficult to stop as the reception is at the 2 nd floor and the boards are small.
Probably the best hotel in Thamel. It had everything I needed, great extra-friendly staff, and an amazing 24/7 outside balcony lounge.I heard some horror stories about other hotels in the area: bugs, stains, no hot water, no locks. That made me appreciate how lucky I was that I chose Pariwar.
Friendly and helpful staff, cheap rooms. Western toilets but no toilet paper, bring your own if you want it! You can buy it locally.
Room okey. Toilet is not so up to the mark . But at least good thing is they provide hot water 24 hours.
Nice stay located in Thamel. You get the best room and services for the money.
Average bar
Location is good because it is the middle of the Thamel district. It may be difficult to find at first because the frontage is narrow. It is a place of about 100 meters to the right toward the Japanese food village building. Meals are slightly higher, so it would be better to finish off the village. There is a separate Nepalese restaurant located on the first floor. Going forward is an Italian restaurant that bakes delicious pizzas. It is welcome to have in-house power generation in this country where there are many blackouts. During home power generation, power is used only for lighting and maintaining the WiFi environment, so no electricity comes from the room outlet. It seems that only the outlet of the dining room is supplied with electric power from the private power station (investigated by itself, not asked to the staff) and when it is necessary to charge etc., it is connected to midnight here and goes to recovery in the morning etc. It was The owner and his wife (a wife is Japanese) were fluent in Japanese and had a very good time. There is a staff member who can do some Japanese. 24-hour tea room service is free.At first I was invited to tour, but I would not sell anything after I showed my intention if I didnt need it. There seems to be reports such as having received sales such as aggressive tours in 4travel and agoda, but I also think that it is not only showing intention willingly ... but conversely, I talk first that there are many Nepal travel history So I gave up saying that it seemed to be tough ... Im troubled with the judgment, but at least I had no unpleasant sales. Rather, the owner served me a meal twice.
We stayed one month before the Nepal earthquake in March 2015. If you decide to walk around some of the hotels from Durbar Square, or if you can not decide, you will be introduced to the hotel if there is a hotel with an owner who can speak Japanese. The room is the same as the cheap lodging in the area, but the roof has an open feeling. Many Japanese guests are staying. Located in the middle of the noise, convenient. Owners who can speak Japanese are often difficult to grasp.
Friendly folks, specially Gyanu
