Best eating place of Boudha

Theres a new cafe on the second level next to Garden Kitchen run by the same owners. They bake their own products (brownies, carrot cake etc) and also serve the same menu from Garden Kitchen. Feel that the service here is better than the haughty attitudes we got in Kitchen.

Awesome place! The atmosphere, ambiance, and service was impeccable. Amazing food, great vibe and great garden views. I absolutely love this place!

The entire ambience around the place is pretty with flowers and succulents decorating the entire place. Place has rooftop tables as well. Food was satisfactory and staffs were competent. They didnt have a WiFi or a POS machine so it was a bit inconvenient. They also have small collection of Nepal made achaars that you can buy.

Good place. Indoors and outdoors garden as well. The food is good. I had naan roti with chicken curry, it was delicious. And the staffs are well trained. Even a good place for events.

Enjoy the vegetarian fried rice in the garden. A quiet place with clean air in the lively KTM.

Food flavor was not always consistent. Sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Customer service was just ok. Their garden seating was nice.

The Mixed vegetables curry was just carrot and potatoes and the portion was small. Both curries I had tasted the same (had the egg curry too) and rather bland. Overpriced and over rated. Service just ok. Staff could be friendlier. Cute cat though.

Love the ambience of this place. Do try the spicy chicken wings and iced tea! My regular order.

Garden Kitchen is quite legendary in Boudha. But it is also still very good. Indian food, Tibetan food like Thukpa (noodle soup) and momos (dumplings), and also some western food like burger and pizza. Quite busy for dinner. Nice for lunch and even breakfast. Most of the sitting is under a roof in the garden. And they do take care of the garden well. The service is very friendly.

This was my favourite restaurant while living in Kathmandu. Great food, comfortable environment, friendly and attentive staff. The place to eat when staying in Bouda.

Its nice place. The two times we have been there is was very busy, full and you also see a lot of local monks there.They seen to serve food which is prepared well, we didnt get any food poisoning there and while being after two of those we didnt had any additional problems here.As people mentioned before. Service is SLOW and inconsistent. They bring food when its ready or so. For example my husband got his food earlier then I did also our drink arrived after we got food once.Prices are quite good.

Small dishes, quality of service varies. Not bad though and they have a big menu.

Only gives priority to foreigners...poor service. Waiting time is excessive and the waiters are so rude as if were the one being paid to eat there food.

Just got back from Nepal ans I can not rate this place enough! My twin 13 year old boys and husband and I ate here daily! Sometimes twice a day! Chicken Masala yum! Mo Mos yum. Sizzler! Service and friendliness abd smiles all round! It is the Nepalese way and we thank them for making our time there so enjoyable!

This is my favourite restaurant un Boudha. Simple but well selected menu, has tipical options as momos and noodles and western options like eggs and pizza. The price is very afordable, good service and the ambient is great. I recomend it completely!

This place is quite good. It is cheap and clean. I liked the way they didnt setup Wi-Fi because these days Wi-Fi is such a trend going on many restaurants which makes people busy on their phone even during meals. I didnt give it a 5 star because of its customer service. The waiters are kind of arrogant and hot headed. Thank you

The essential HQ of Westerners! The menu offers a very wide variety of dishes, from typical momo to American cheeseburger! The place is peaceful, the toilets are good, you can eat indoors, indoor terrace overlooking a beautiful garden or upstairs (cafe atmosphere with a shop). The staff is friendly.By cons, no wifi :(
