The temple is believed to have been built in the 16th century. Sculptures can be seen in the Mukham Mandapam. The temple is under the auspices of Nalapurakkal .The ministerial post is Banathur Namboodiripad. The four-storied house of the Nair community is called the four-door paneer. Theyyam is being held on Thirum Meenam at 3am. The main deity is the Agni Ghandakarna. The idols of Kuttikathan and Gulikan are also present. Bhagavathi, who is worshiped in the surroundings as well as by Thayampaka and others, excels in fierce spirit. There is a four-storied field next to it. The shrine of worship. This is the main deity of the Goddess. With their tall hairs on the head and 16 large torches around their waist, the Kaikkarnakarna (Kandakarna) Theyyam creates reverence, awe and wonder in the audience.
