We had heard a lot about Javed Fish Corner, and travelled from Lahore to Kasur only for this eatery.But it is not worth travelling for, as their fish is similar in taste as nominal street fish corners in Lahore.They cook the fish a bit too much that decreases quality n taste, which is not a normal thing when youre a big name.

U cant go along with family its deep inside however to get best taste u should prefer to eat over there as its fresh and hot... taste is good if u r not conscious about hygiene..

Im not really a Fish guy but due to its hype Ive always wanted to go to Kasur city to Eat Fish from Javed Fish corner. Tell you what , I finally got the chance to visit the famous fish corner. Well it was not very crowded may be because it was a week day but it took my order AGES to be served. It took me almost 1 hour and 15 minutes to get my order. while the wait was really tiresome , the fish on the other hand was really worth the wait . It was completely unique experience as I have never eaten a fish like that. Cooked to perfection and taste of the fish is not only on its skin but also it was tasty inside out.I would definitely visit it again sometime soon.

Food Quality is good but need really improvement in cleanliness.

The hype is too much. Taste of fish is different but its too dry. The quantity is very less. The picture attached is 250gms. I would rate it 6/10. If I visit Kasur then I would not be tempted to eat here again.

Perhaps the best fried fish within an hour of lahore.. You have to walk a bit after parking your car through narrow streets of old kasoor to get there.. The walk through the old city itself is an attraction as you experience the narrow streets of the old city. The best part about their fish are how they cut the pieces into very well sized fillets which are then fried with care and then sprinkled with some ground chillies before serving you.The fish is yummilicious though they need to improve their sitting area and customer service..

Fried Fish.Being bored of typical Baisan deep fried fish, headed to Kasoor for the famous Javed Sheikhs fish. The guy is known for his signature Tawa Fish that he makes with fresh river Kala Rahu fish and atomic Chilies. Mind you theres a long wait even at lunch time.I have had this fish before but was wondering what makes this fish special .... There are three secrets to it.... One, pure mustard oil. Two, chilies fried in that oil and Three, double frying.Folks, the fried chilies had amazing impact on the overall flavor of the fish and we had naans heated on same tawa where fish was being fried in chilies.I mean one person can easily gulp down 1 kg of this fish but you got to be real careful with those fish bones and must have love for real spicy fish.Now when in Kasoor, you got to buy those Freshly made Andrasaas and Pineeyaan. Had them along with amazing Kashmiri Sabaz Chai and brought tons of Andrasaas back for friends. Though Kasoori falooda is best known but my cravings were for warm and hot food ko thing cold as it was freezing today.A great thing that happened there at the fish shop, a young lad walked up to me and asked if I was Asad Sheikh and I said yes Im and asked who he was, hes a fellow member of Foodies R Us ..... Loved the pleasant surprise.

I visited this place in 2017. They offer fish in winter. I visited in summer and i was told that they open the shops in winter season.The bestest taste of fish in kasur may be experienced at this place.

Good place for fish lovers....a proper sitting arrangement for families...a different way of cooking fish....a very very neat & clean though...Parking is better if u park at tea shop near Darbar side.Also the old streets walk of 10 min....so if you have kids take strollers with you...!A must pack and carry as well.

Fish quality is good, no doubt, but sitting arrangements are not enough. Even we have to give 200 rs to a waiter for reservations either the table was free.Fish is good and even you can pack the almost fried fish. You just have to fry almost 8 mints in oil at home.Fish taste was GOOD but sitting was JUST OK

Very famous fish point in the city. Area is little croudy and. But the food taste is awesome. Usually people came from out of the city to enjoy the food. It is located in the middle of the city. No one can match javed fish

There is no other thing like this, even in Qasoor. You need to walk for about 5 to 10 minutes for this amazing experience.Then you have to wait, the place is not very spacious as well. But as soon as you taste the seasme oil fish sprinkled with special spices, everything becomes worthy.Not available throughout the year and you should ask your local guide to confirm that they are open.

Javed Fish Corner is quite unlike Lahori style fish. They use more spices, quite a bit, actually. It tastes great, though its not for those who like their food with few or no spices. Its well cooked and one of the main attractions in Kasur. Sitting area is just okay, with a separate hall for families. The pricing is competitive.

I always admire being here as the food and service is both good. They serve fish, fried in seaseme oil and its served with yogurt and mint sauce, with Naan. Bottled water, Soft drinks available. Particularly server Zafar is awesome. You call him, order upfront and as you reach, you are seated and served. A growled place with decent hygiene, sitting space for family.
