We (my family) had quite a pleasant experience at the Cops Canopy. We booked this place through Vista Rooms. Check-in was hassle free. Would suggest being in touch with the caretaker prior to reaching the place. We travelled here from Delhi for a short break. The cottages are spread in a wide expanse of land. Outdoor activities are super fun in here. It’s great if you travel in big groups since you’d get the entire place private to your self. The caretaker and his staff are very helpful. They arranged BBQ night for us which was quite epic. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was one of our most memorable stays ever. Highly recommended

I m.giving 1 start less for improvement required.in service team. .If we ask for something to eat we need it in 1 or 2hrs not beyond that.Beautiful infrastructure, everything well planned.A must visit for all.chandigarh people.

Cops Canopy! The place looks much more beautiful than whats shown in the pictures. Property is surrounded with Luscious greenery with Excellent space and amenities in the hillsTheres a golf court, pool, lawn, farms and what not with mesmerizing views. We were lucky enough to witness some beautiful peacocks as well😍😍Staff is very prompt and helpful with all your queries. Also all the Necessary hygiene protocols were taken care of. Food was delicious too😋Experience was definitely worth the money spent.Highly recommended for friends, family and large groups.

This amazing place is located close to Chandigarh. Its an extensive property filled with numerous activities. It overlooks great views of the hills. There are 5 cottages with one bedroom in each making it an ideal place for large groups. The in-house dining experience was excellent! Loved the services provided by the staff. Theyre very prompt and helpful with all your queries. You can also request for barbecue and a bonfire to be lit. It was definitely worth the money spent. Its a must-stay villa for big groups.

Pretty professionally managed property! The place looks much more beautiful than whats shown in the pictures. Its located conveniently near Chandigarh city. Theres a goal course, pool, lawn, farms and what not. Its never a boring time at Cops Canopy! If you are looking to get away from your busy schedule, this place is IT. We had a great weekend here. The staff does a wonderful job. Meals were absolutely delectable. Id recommend the guests staying here to indulge in their inhouse dining facility. Highly recommended!

The place was extremely nicely done. Well maintained. The owners are great host. Beautifully done cottages and food basis whatever you request. I am actually surprised someone has rated it bad. Its one of the quietest best properties to go to. Looks 100% better than the images.

Cops canopyA luxury away from home is a property with beautifully done cottages in the middle of green lands ... what I loved the most was raw brick walls of the rooms.It has lush green gardens , canopy’s to sit around with your group and have fun. We played archery, pool& golf provided by them. Ps Please carry some of your games along.Food offered is hot and tasty .. do try their saag and beet root puris if you go in the season. Ps I will give 10 on 10 for the cleanliness in the kitchen. Plus born fire!!Owners happen to be there on our visit and they were friendly and down to earth.Be prepared for a limited but friendly Staff .. they are willing to serve our needs in the best possible way.I would definitely recommend to visit the property as I am coming back for sure.

Awesome beautiful weather

We arrived around 1:30pm. The ride down the roads to Cops Canopy is very pretty. You start heading into foothills and it’s beautiful. There is a few parts of the road that are a bit narrow but nothing off putting. When you get closer to the property there are two very large dips in the road. I have included photos of them. On the way to the property they were dry and not too hard to navigate. On the way out as it had been raining the entire night before it looked like a small river. It was a bit intimidating but my husband crossed with no issues. When we got to the property there was a large gate, with a check in booth. We were let in and someone greeted us to take our bags and show us the room. The view inside of Cops Canopy is gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate. As we arrived to our room I was eager to see what was in store. I was not disappointed. Absolutely stunning. The bathroom is huge. However, the smell of moth balls was so strong I got a buzzing headache within five minutes inside. I had to open the window in the bathroom and turn all of the fans on full blast. Even when I went to sleep that night I wore my mask because the odor was so suffocating that I could literally taste it in my mouth.We asked about ordering snacks as meals are not prepared but only served buffet style at specific times. Photos of menu and “rules” attached below. We were told snacks would not be made until six when the chef arrives. I had not eaten breakfast and was eager for lunch. At six we called back and asked about the buffet and snacks. They asked me to tell them what time I would like the buffet. Confused, we asked about snacks, specifically chicken tikka. The person in the kitchen said that would take too long and ended the call. Starving and desperate I reached out again via Facebook messenger. I told them what had happened and that I was hungry, I asked if it was allowed to order from an app like swiggy. I got no response but after a few minutes two men came to our room and asked what we needed to eat. We placed an order and received it shortly after. Lack luster and improperly seasoned. Shortly after a waiter came to our room with a bottle of wine and a note. They stated they were sorry for the inconvenience and wished me a Happy Birthday. Photos attached. Even though I don’t enjoy wine. I still forgave them and was able to force down a half glass of apology wine. We were hungry so we requested they serve the buffet. It was raining so they brought the food to us. I immediately dug into the Dal Makhani and it was dreadful. It wasn’t seasoned correctly, they had used chicken masala. None of it was very good. My husband had a hard time eating it as well even though he grew up on the foods being served. Again, desperate and disappointed we requested they make me a simple egg sandwich.Since it was raining and I am a smoker I checked the grounds for a place to smoke and not get drenched. There was no where. There is an overhang less than a foot wide in front of the room. I stood there huddled in a ball and ended up soaking wet anyway. Besides that, the front step to the room is marble. It isn’t covered by any overhang so the rain just free falls on it making it a game of slip and slide when you go in or out. Very dangerous, and honesty it made me angry as my husband and myself almost broke a leg coming in and out.I made my reservation through Booking. The status was confirmed when I arrived at Cops Canopy. I stayed the first night and had too many issues that I decided I didn’t want to stay another night.I waited for the bill to come and while I was sitting there I got an email from Booking saying I was a no show. I immediately responded to the email and said I was at the hotel and wanted to dispute the no show as I would be charged a fee. They wrote back and I had a few concerns so I went into live chat. We determined the reason they had done that was probably to make it so I couldn’t leave a review. I have nearly 3 million views on google contribute.Arjun our waiter was one of the most polite people I’ve ever met.
