Its certainly a good place to do you subzi marketing, but the problem is, the vendors are overcharging by almost 20-25% than even the retail sabzi mandi in Navi Mumbai. These village folks think that the buyers are all owners of big cars, bunglows, etc and so, charge any rate. If only they are competitive, their produce would be a total sell out in no time. If one had to go to the Byculla market, you probably get the best possible pricing......someone need to educate these people from the hinterland.
