This is Hindu godess Durga temple in village Karhi which is 13 KM from Karera, 70 KM from Shivpuri, 100KM frpm Gwalior and approx 70 kilometers from Jhansi. This temple is just 100 meters from Karhi bus stand and is very well connected to road.This is an ancient temple and believed to be at least 500 years old. Temple was very small until 1992 when it went through renovation work before a grand Yagya puja. After that, it has gone through many renovations to give it a grand structure.It also has three small temples hosting god Hanuman, Shiva and old godess Durga (original) idols each.It is believed that wish is fulfilled here if you visit this temple on 3 Fridays keeping fast (pure fast or can have fruits only...no khichdi n all).Its a must visit temple if you are visiting any near by areas.Let Imli wali Maa bless you.
