One of the best zoo amongst the visited by me till date... spreaded in a very large area... various species of fauna... all animals n birds are very healthy... many picturesque locations... many eateries are available inside zoo... aquarium and snake section was ordinary... I would say, a must visit place if one is visiting Kanpur.

Just a park for which we pay to get tired. Very less animals. Even its good, animals could not be kept in cage. Machli Ghar closed, No Lights in Snake House.Nothing there to enjoy there for family.Entry fees also increased to more than double - Rs. 70 for Adult & Rs. 35 for Kids.Better to watch Zoo virtually.

There was a nice experience, train was not working also the animals look lazy like they may be not getting food on time however the zoological park was too big and many things are there to explore for a tourists.

If you examine closely you will find that it is indeed a zoological park not a zoo. Its quite big. Trolley car/toy train service available. Canteen available. Lot of monkeys roaming around. Parking available. Less crowdy.

Nice place to have a picnic with friends and family. There are multiple places to sit, eat and chat. The place is big and full of attractions, yet the number of animals has decreased over the time.You can take food items with you inside just be sure not to carry any polythene with you. Carry a bagpack or cloth bag.

No proper boards an sign. Cleaning is found not good. Even some of the cabin you couldnt see the animals because bush growing around every animal cabin. Water is so dirty Especially hippos, belican water color has totally changed to black.

Excellent place for outing. Almost all animals are available except for some like giraffe, chimpanzee and white tiger. Plastic bags are not allowed inside so please dont take these with you . You can take your bags inside and no one is checking whats inside so you can take your lunch and water bottle, but please if they are trusting you by not checking your bags so its your duty to not litter here n there. If you are planning to go there then you should have atleast 3-4 hours in your pocket then only you will enjoy the whole zoo. 🙂

A pleasant surprise in Kanpur!Lion, Tiger, Hippo, Rhino, Zebra, Croc, Snakes, Deer, Antelope, Blue Bull, wow!!!!!Extremely green and clean place, well managed as per Kanpur standard.... you get a battery operated vehicle to roam inside.If you are going with kids, I recommend going in the early hours, to avoid dehydration and tiredness.Take battery car ONLY if you want to wind up within 1 hour.The battery car takes INR 210 for seven passengers. Ride time - 45 MINS.and INR 120 for four passengers with same ride time.There is a toy train which operates only when the crowd is enough for the coach to be fully occupied.Fish museum and bird park is also made inside, which can be enjoyed at leisure.No plastic allowed inside. Car parking is chargeable. Entry fee is INR 40 per adult, INR 20 per kiddo.All in all, its a good place to spend an entire day with family and friends and be in touch with nature.

This zoo enables you to have a glimpse of beautiful animals and birds. Specially snake house and aviary. Both attracts visitors a lot. A fish aquarium is there too.One can buy tickets from ticket counter which excludes fish aquarium. For visiting fish aquarium you will have to buy tickets separately from counter placed near aquarium.Public transport is easily available, in addition a huge parking area for bike and car is there too.One can also take the car inside zoo after buying car token from ticket counter. The facility of BALL RAIL is available too and U can buy tickets from the boarding point.Do not carry any eatables or plastic package as these are not allowed inside zoo.

Kanpur zoo is the good zoo in utter Pradesh its located in Nawabganj ,it is situated in a large area . There are many types of species in zoo it is famous for Greenary nd gardening.

If you want to make a picnic with less budget, this place is marvelous.

Battery Car and Small Train which roams in and around the jungle is available

A zoo with international standards. The serenity and greenery around was quite relaxing to your body and mind. Its quite impressive seeing the animals in their near natural habitat.

This is biggest zoo in area. There is one beautiful lake. One can see with cart or toy train. Private car now not allowed. Animals are not in cages. They are in nature like surrounded fields. Walk in Avery is very good and must watch.

Ticket for an adult is ₹70 which is not shown by some websites. Secondly the toy train never functions for its always under repair, if you take a look at the animals the leopards, or the zebra are skinny probably theyre not given nutritious meal. Responsible authorities should be checked.

2nd of my most favorite place to visit in Kanpur I have been visited this place more than 40 times because this is near by my House so 🤣You can see many types of wild animals within the zoo. There are white tigers, Bengal Tigers ,Leopards, Jaguar,Asian Lions, African Lion different type of deer and colorful birds like Brazilian parrots, House Sparrow. Large mammals like elephant, Rhinos So may types of birds. The lake is nice and toilet and water is sufficient, overall clean environment wonderful place for spending time with family and friends.

Please dont visit in summer. rest you are good. Half day Time place and if you live animals then you may find some beautiful birds, monkeys and if you lucky you will get to see a Lion too.

A zoological is perfect place to visit and to gaze upon natural beauty so closely.It was really a nice experience here, also most of biodiversity is here to look upon. Truly it makes us realise that nature is really part kf our life and we should care about it.Conditions were nicely maintained in park, Id suggest people to try plan a visit in summer as in reptile house most of reptiles were in hibernation already, same was with some species too. Even after this is was really awesome time there.Bring young kinds and enjoy family tour. This place can be enjoyed by elders too as they offer a train tour too and some mobile electric rikshaw to go errand.Open food items like Pizza, burger and some other stuff was terrific. Id suggest people to only buy packed food (and mind the price hike).Humble request from people that they please dont tease and damage the protective boundaries made their, dont make animals feels that animals are visiting them. Show some humanity, because Ive experienced some inhuman behaviour towards animals from visitors, they were treating animals as some toy thats truly horrible.Do have same manner and enjoy the day out with some remarkable creations from mother nature. :)
