If you live in kanpur or ever visited there it is not possible that you havent heard of deoki chauraha named after deoki talkies (cinema theatre). but now a days this place is just only a landmark, arrival of multiplex screens killed this single screen theatre and no new released movies appear here anymore, lack of infrastructure and renovation are also responsible for setback of this popular cinema theatre.

Large capacity... 🚭 not Allowed but being used. Not up to dated but memorising old days.. cinema love 💕

Once the cinema was so popular that the square was named as Deoki Square. Presently films are shown on this single screen but cannot attract much spectators. Still this place and cinema is popular.

Also being in middle of biggest coaching study center of Uttar Pradesh only college boys or males go there in groups or alone as well. Girls and couples should certainly avoid this cinema hall as there is so much shouting on every romantic and action scene. So it is good only for males and for timepass only.
