The auditorium is quite large and can accomplish a very large crowd. Has wifi connectivity everywhere . The area near entrance has some old iconic pictures which will make you feel amazed. Overall a very good place with a lot of memories attached.

Its good , but it doesnt reach my expectations, it needs changes, its like somewhat old type auditorium, it doesnt have curved stage and it should be bigger in width but which is not. But it has acs inside wall. It has 5000 seat capacity

The Audi is awesome..... The sound quality is also very good..... Just the corner seats have a bit of issue.... But altogether, its good to go

Trust me when I say this is one of the best auditoriums you can find in any University across India. It has a very comfortable seating capacity of around 1200 (it has a theatre like arrangement with almost 300-400 balcony seats) and and is equipped with the best sound and video system, along with super wifi connection (after all it is IIT Kanpur 😉)! But obviously, it can only be used by the campus residents for various programs and activities.

Very spacious, main auditorium of IIT Kanpur. Very chilly - full AC, make sure your having a lite jacket or something.

It is the Main auditorium of IIT Kanpur, all the opening and closing ceremony of the event takes place, The best auditorium I ever visited, those who are non IITians it gives you a feel of IIT.

Amazing Lecture halls are just incredible. Main academic building is also very big and beautiful.

The auditorium is quite spacious. Can accommodate around 1000 persons . I have visited this place to attend the convocation ceremony held at IIT Kanpur. The entry is restricted.
