This is a big village located on Kanpur Hamirpur highway and is almost 16 km away from Kanpur. The village is mainly has agricultural activities. The proposed Leather cluster is to be shifted here which has escalated land prices here specially of those adjacent to highway. The village has few banks, post office and severall petrol/diesel outlets. Small business activities are undertaken here.
