When i was visited airport first time i was wondered that that place was so futuristic and well adjusted✈️. Inside the airport, that was really really beautiful and clean✈️. I stayed an hour and realized that it was so peaceful place rather planes are passing rapidly✈️. Parking place was also nice or i can say parking place just not for car it was also designed for both car and driver✈️. The best thing of the airport was the huge and giant flag which reflects the shine and that was so patriotic🛬. Just like the first time i was wondered if it would be a good idea to have a selfie with my friend to upload to Facebook so i can make my other friends to feel jealous✈️. When I enter into the plane first time i was shocked that it was too small not like i had seen in movies✈️. The whole thing was i really feeling bad for those people who were not even visited this airport but Mumbai Airport was three levels next compared to this air port and i forget all the things of this airport✈️❄️❄️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Small Airport neatly maintained. Part of military place and limited flight operations. Hope things will improve and good thing is public support which is overwhelming. Most of the time flights are operated with full capacity irrespective of weekday or weekend.Over all it is a good airport

Anticipating growth in passenger traffic, the Airports Authority of India has planned to expand the Chakeri Civil Enclave. The airport would be developed in two phases.In the first phase of development includes expansion of the existing terminal building to increase the passenger handling capacity, construction of a visitors lounge and new car parking facilities to make existing terminal ready for RCS-UDAN operation.In the second phase, A new civil air terminal at Chakeri Airport will be built on a 50-acre piece of land adjacent to the airport boundary. The state government is handing over 50 acres of land identified by AAI free of cost for the development of civil enclave at Chakeri airport and also providing a 4-lane approach road to the new terminal building site. Work for boundary wall construction awarded to UPPWD under deposit scheme as per MOU signed on 24.11.2017.

Chakeri Airport, Kanpur is designed to facilitate and help commuters who travel to and fro from Kanpur to Mumbai/Kolkata/Bengaluru.The only operational flight for this airport is Spicejet.Since, it is defense airport and you will see jets as youre landing, photography is strictly prohibited in this area. Small sized, Now 3rd busiest in UP 😎✌ airport Situated 2.5 km From Ramadevi Crossing on Allahabad GT Road.Basic facilities ,taxi parking (& 5 min pick n drop token) ,small food plaza is available. Connectivity from city is OK ,U can easily get rental taxis/ola/uber here, even go through Tempo, City buses.A new Terminal building with four lane approach road is in under construction from NH2 .daily single flights towards Delhi,Mumbai & Kolkata is operational and flights for Ahmedabad ,Surat, Chandigarh and Bengaluru is scheduled in next few days.

Well its providing the basic of landing and take off.Though no facilities whatsoever but still i would say, its connecting kanpur to bom and del, and other cities. Its a beginning and hope to see more flights in the future as onky spice jet is connecting kanpur.For me its 4 star because i dont consider facilities to be of such great importance in domestic flights of less than 2 hrs.I took a flight from bombay to kanpur.

Its a very small airport with only one airline operating at the moment. The infrastructure requires a expansion if it needs to support more airlines. But overall the airport does the job for the crowd that visits it. Hope to see some modernization in the days to come.

I am so happy that Kanpur Airport is now functioning very well. The airport is small but it is very clean. Right now only Spice Jet flights are available. It is a defence airport so taking pictures is not allowed (selfie lovers must make a note of it, haha).

Its better to take flights from Lucknow. In reality theres no direct flight to and from Bangalore.Small Spicejet aircrafts are dangerous not for kids and sensitive people.Expecting betterment in coming 2-3 years.

No doubt the airport is really small but still the staff behaviour is good and satisfied finally..There is no shuttle service available, youll probably have to walk till the aircraftThere are regular flights to Mumbai and Delhi as well(not sure)However the runway is really good and matches airforce standards as this is also an airforce base.You can trust the flights they probably wont be delayed

Kanpur Airport is loacted in Chakeri Kanpur which is approx 17km from the city. From July 2018 direct flight from Delhi to Kanpur and vice versa started. But now you can travel at various destinations from Kanpur airport such as Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi.One can easily get a auto or rickshaw as a public transport or can also book cab(Ola or Uber) .After opening of this Airport people now dont have to rush to Lucknow for boarding their flight to major metro cities.However, this airport needs a lot of work to improve the standard of the terminal.
