Dear Friends, if youre planning to book this place for The Releif Bungalow, Hantana, Kandy for your friends or family. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEIR HORRIBLE WAY OF TREATING THEIR GUESTS. We booked this bunglow for one night stay ultimately ended up in checking out in the midnight. We checked in on 09th June, 2017. We booked the whole bunglow to have some privacy for us. We cooked our own food with a help of chef in the bunglow. About 7pm in the evening we quietly having fun with our friends singing songs and chit chatting. As usual like any friends group we were having drinks and fun without making any troubles to anyone. But the caretaker has apparently been very upset that we are singing and having fun. He started telling various things to each of us and tried to stop us singing or having fun. We didnt take them serious and just having our chit chat. At around 12pm he came to us told us to stop and go to beds. We were pretty annoyed with that and told him we came to have our fun and not be here like kindergarten children. The argument went on. 15 minutes later there were 6 armed men to threaten us. At around 1.30am in the night he forced us to check out. He wanted us to pay the whole amount before leaving the place. He also mentioned the they dont like accomodating locals and they only give priority to foreigners. We said that they shouldve said the same before we come to the place. So please share this with your friends & family and warn the before they end up like us.

Nice place, we had our own terrace and it has the best WiFi connection that we had on the island. Good breakfast. We recommend taking tuk tuk as it is quite far away from the city. It cost us 500rs up and 300sp down.
