LOVE THE AMBIANCE AND THE WARM HOSPITALITY . VE BEEN THERE MANY A TIMES. BUT DEFORESTATION DUE TO UPCOMING BUILDING PROJECTS IS A THREAT TO THE TRANQUILITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE NEIGHBORING VILLAGES.

Excellent place for a weekend getaway for the lovely atmosphere. Food is little passe but will hopefully improve in the days to come.

08 kms. from Bolpur (Shantiniketan). About 70 Single Bedroom Apartments, all privately owned (in three blocks). Conveniently placed on Bolpur - Illambazar road (excellent road condition. presently PWD maintained). No public vehicle support nearby. It would help if you have your own vehicle.

Place for knowledge and art , rich in cultural values, something different from regular thinking.
