One of the best and busiest railway station which functions night and day everyday for passengers. One can board train for going to any corner of India. There are total 7 platforms in which 3 platforms are dedicated for local commuters. One can find eatery stalls on all platforms. Free wifi available for 30 mins. Fresh rooms not available on all platforms. Buses And autos taxis available 24 hours on west side. Escalators and lifts available.

I have travelled by the electrically powered hybrid Bus (electricity in this Bus is generated through batteries) s couple of times between Kalyan to kalyan phata and … on the whole my experience has been good. Its a great move to curb Air Pollution in Mumbai & Navi Mumbai region by the B.E.S.T … also it is claimed that this Bus has completely made in India

A station rather busy as a bee:) also an intersection point for North and South India bound trains.

Its huge and clean but almost always busy,which is kind of good I guess. Indicators also work properly and sometimes they mess up , there are refreshments available at the station and washroom and water facility too. Seats are also available to sit on platform.

One of the best connecting station in the Suburban area.Number of trains are available for all the directions in India.Ample facilities are available .Big Passenger Ticketing Area comprising of ample ticket windows for fast and easy ticket booking.Also well-equipped with number of self kiosk and card based ticket vending machines.Cash based ticket vendors are also quite good option.The station and all the platforms are well equipped with number of ladders to exchange between different platform from both the end of the stations helping for easy exchange between platform.Escalator facilities on the platform are one the best option added by railway and are accessible from typical areas of the station.Elevator facilities on station end is also nice for handicapped people.Toilet and rest room facilities are quite ample and are also quite clean and tidy and are located at good points on the platform.Waiting areas are quite Big and are well ventilated.Outside station number of other modes of transport are also available.Ample amount of auto-rickshaws to take you to the further vicinity of the city are available.KDMC or Municipal Transport is available to move to the outskirts of the city.Aside nearby Kalyan Bus Depot also supports in getting state transport buses to take you to the nearby cities and suburban areas.Outside station number of snacks options and restaurants are available for food and drinks which are far better then the on station facilities available.

Big junction

A highly chaotic and crowdy place. The only thing you see here is lots of Rickshas and lots of peoples. Theres always traffic close to this station because of buses and narrow roads.Though skywalks are pretty useful it still didnt help to reduce the crowd.

Kalyan is not a station, its a feeling for all mumbaikar.

It is one of the crowded places in Central railway stations. It combines 2 rail routes ome from Pune side and one from Nashik side. Many facilites are developed such as parking, wheelchair accesible and many more required facilities. In case of cleanliness, not so good not so bad. The bus depot is connected to railway station which is very good for travellers. But auto rickshaw lines and taxi drivers has covered all the area around the railway station and they cause unwanted nuisance. Many facilities cant be used properly due to auto rickshaw lines and their drivers keep roaming in front of exits and disturb passanger. Kalyan municiple council and railway management should solve this issue.

A very big junction from where on can travel to north or to south of india.

Presently many bridges are closed making it confusing for travellers... Lifts are available for physically challenged and are wheelchair accessible... Parcel Office is at one corner of the station on West side which is difficult to locate as there are no signboards and you have to collect your vehicle from platform no 5 which is more like a TREASURE HUNT as many bridges are closed for passengers and Security personnel will tell you to take another route. They should either establish proper direction signage for routes which one operational and which one close to avoid unnecessary hassle of passangers.

Over crowded but You can travel every corner of the country. The better part of this station is that its right in the heart of the city. The best part is near by market available for all kind of shopping includes flower market , cloths,wedding attire.popular temple and tourist spots. What can we write about this place? One of Mumbais oldest station and a well maintained station. You can travel every corner of the country. The better part of this station is that its right in the middle of the city. You dont have to travel a long distance to reach the station. Always a busy and bustling like other station.

Kalyan is a junction one lane goes to south side and another lane goes to north .If you want to go at kalyan east side and want to catch a auto then one has to walk through the bridge at least 10 min. from station.As per as kalyan west side concern the auto stand is adjustment 2 min. walk.

It is awesome but there is rush always. To maintain the cleanliness there is a dustbin after every 1 minutes of walking. There is always a local train for Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus every minute. There are 8 platforms but now these platforms are not enough. In the morning and evening all trains are full, there is even no place to stand also

In this station bus sand is there, buses for various routes are available. Marketslls are very near to this station. Ambience is too good. Many Ticket counters are there to cater rush hours. Travel or enter inside platforms with proper tickets, as ticket checkers are very strict.

Heavy trafficparking problem

One of busiest station allover India, Indian Railways earn lots of money from there but dont spend on it very very poorly managed , old and damaged British era equipments and devices,things are still there and they still using them, Shame on Indian Railways. ‌इतना कमाते ‌हो इस स्टेशन से और मुंबई लोकल ट्रेन से, तो थोड़ा सा यहां पर खर्च भी करो। उस स्टेशन पर खर्च करने से क्या फायदा जहां मुश्किल से दिन भर में एक-दो ट्रेन आतीं हैं। कुछ तो शर्म करो।

OK. Good facility with free wifi service available. Its overcrowded but hub of central railways. The best part of this station is that its right in the heart of the city. At Kalyan west shopping markets available. KALYAN railway station is one of the busiest railway station on central railways. Besides this Kalyan station is also a junction of two local trains coming from Karjat and kasara. well organized rickshaw stands outside in from of railway station where rickshaws are available 24*7. Workers keeps station clean but street dogs makes this job very difficult for them. Last I can say that Kalyan is developing at fast rate too.

Though the station is huge, there is no crowd management.There is rubbish lying here and there. The toilet stinks like hell and the only Janajal drinking water available here is at platform no. 01.The only good thing is the staff onsite.

Such a big junction with worst management. Display of coach also not proper. No advance facility we need, Need basic improvements at least.
