A beautiful place to stay in.Excellent scenic beauty can be enjoyed from the place.Service and behaviour of the staff are really praiseworthy.The lawn at second floor added real charm to this hotel.All are beautifully maintained. Only, quality of food may need some improvement in terms of savoury.

Pathetic experience in a well maintained 4 star hotel. Acute shortage of staff makes you wonder if its even 4 star. We came here with 2 kids and other guests nearby were blasting loud music and shouting like they are the only ones in hotel till past midnight, when we tried reaching reception, no ones there to pick up a call, it was impossible to sleep. Food orders arrives only an hour after ordering and tastes very poor. I rarely write reviews in google but this needed to be addressed so others don’t suffer like us in the name of a 4 star hotel.

Nice rooms. Service is not so good. People are friendly.Due to low occupancy, the food service is not prompt. You will have to wait for your meal to be served. Better to give advance notice about your requirements before reaching.2nd floor rooms have nice garden, swimming pool and view.

Beautiful decorated hotel and ambience. Loved the flowers and plantation around the hotel. Food is ok, very clean and spacious rooms. Google location doesnt take to actual location it being on top of mountain, unable to guide well, locals help for navigating. Parking available for vehicles.Overall good stay.

Our stay at pine tree was wonderful the resort is very beautiful. We had a very comfortable stay with our 2 year old baby, they provided us with everything needed. The rooms are good and bathrooms are very clean. Food was very delicious 😋 and service of the staff was too good as compared to any other resorts in kalimpong.

Very good hotel, with good staff. Rooms are very specious and neat and clean. From every room you have an excellent view of Kangchenjunga. Its a new construction, but hospitality of the hotel is superb. All the hotel staffs are very professional. Complimentary breakfast is also good with lots of option to have. All the veg item are very testy but non veg item is not that good and also overpriced. This hotel has very beautiful grass lawn with a swimming pool, both of them maintained properly.

The alluring and Prepossesing location of the property and excellent services....The mesmerizing view of the property was the first thing that attracted me. The front office staff Judith went out of the box to help us with every little thing. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the location Kalimpong. The staffs right from housekeeping, service and kitchen were hospitable. Thank you Pine Tree Spa Resort and especially Judith for making our trip a memorable one.

Location is good. Not far from the city center. Rooms are large and airy. Food was excellent. My room has great view of the town and mt. Kanchenjuga and its range. The swimming pool is easily accessible and well visible from all the rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly. The Parking area is a little small but for a Hill station that is not a big issue. They also have a conference hall which can accommodate about 150 people. The management and Staff of the hotel is quite cordial and helpful. There is not much to complain. Everything was in order and I loved the hotel.

Booked the property after reading good reviews. Though after check in everything was deceiving.1. The property looks bare and lacks warmth as it is not decorated at all. You will not find a single picture on the wall either in the rooms or lobby. So the start is only raw as the entrance is very very basic.2. The room size is quite big but lacks all basic ameneties. Since it is a 4 star property the rooms n bathrooms should be equipped with all toiletries.3. Best part of the hotel is food. The chef is excellent in his job and takes extra effort to satiate ones taste buds4. Pine tree is a spa property, but in 2 days of our stay the spa was not operational due to lack of masseurs.5. As we were a group of 8 people and wanted some kind of entertainment, we asked for bonfire in the lawns. On checkout we were charged Rs.3000/ extra fr this service. We have travelled all over the world but no property has asked extra ever. We paid them Rs.2000/ though other guests at the hotel too enjoyed this service.

Very well built hotel and good infrastructure with partially all class facilities, but all in order to fool a guest into believing that this is a 5 star resort. Well, the way you cant judge a book by its cover, you cant label this hotel up to the mark. Pathetic service and staff. Takes almost 30 minutes for the hotel to send a bell boy to collect our luggage. The food in the restaurant isnt the tastiest, quality of the chicken is questionable as it seems to be old. Improve the staff and service, then they shall call themselves a world class hotel. The breakfast is really bad.

Newly built hotel, very good rooms. But the entrance and the garden were not at all impressive. The name of the hotel says spa but the same was not functional. Otherwise the food was good only the selection needs improvement. Very expensive when compared to the facilities.

The property is luxurious. It has all the modern amenities and has great views from room.love to visit again this place.

Hotel location is good. The minimum aminities viz. Fruit basket, mini bar are not available in the room the toiletries like tooth brush and shaving kit not provided in the toilet.

Not so peofessional. Right now staying here. Even if a hill station resort, they are charging for a Room heater even. Isnt it a basic thing to provide room heater at a property at Hill Station.

Please do not just book after looking at the pictures. They mention Suit rooms on their website but have just 2 grades of rooms: Regular and Executive. The hotel manager is not at all professional. When we complained of damp smell in the room we overpaid for, he was defending the issue with a statement that it was the room spray smell. Also, not a single amenity like hand soap, dental kit, shower gels or even slipper were provided to us. We had to complaint to the front desk for them to check their stock to supply us these basic amenities. The hotel name contains Spa but it is really just another guest room with a massage bed but without any spa staff. Hotel staff claimed that they were on leave. There is no fridge or safe (locker) in the room too. Basically their website is a lie. I would really not recommend them for the price they demand. Its a very very basic hotel without anything happening at the property. They even charged us for a bon-fire when we suggested them this activity to entertain all the hotel guests when was a hit event.
