Ray dhaba is the one of good place for foodie in between Bargarh & Sambalpur Highway. Food taste is ok . Go for Nonveg. Specifically tandoor, poda (fired) . Mutton range is rs 500 & Chicken from rs 400. Outdoor lawn dining available. Needed improvement of hygiene in cooking & washing area . Ideal time 7 to 9 PM

Awesome view with good and tasty food.

We had some Patra poda dishes served up and they lacked the flavour and requisite doneness. Chicken was burnt to smithereens and had completely dried up when served. Mutton was cooked well but had also dried up making the meat chewy and tasteless.

Well, infrastructure and accommodation is awesome honestly. But the Dhaba lacks in what matters the most, thats hospitality and service. Waiting time is longgggger than this word LOL. I mean Im talking on scale of hours. So its really annoying.Food: Better than Okay.

Taste of food was good, other then that its a good dhaba. You can go with your family and take some rest. Ample parking space. Toilet was so dirty, please take care of that.

I had somewhat decent expectations from this joint.But it went horribly wrong.We had ordered dal tadka,paneer tikka,corn fry and chilli chicken.Except the chilli chicken the rest were below par.The paneer tikka was served raw with the masala.Even the roti was half cooked.Would not recommend this place to anyone as there are much better places along the same highway.

The best place to chilled out in the deserting highway.I celebrated my birthday party here for more than two times. The environment is really very good, pleasant and even safe if you have womens to accompany you for any family get together. Nice employees nice treatment nice serving people. Just one thing is that they doesnt have atm card machine within few kilometres so you should prepare for that. Otherwise online payment service is available here too. Dont know why this place is so popular. It doesnt provide decent food, nor a quality service. The food isnt cheap, or hygienic. Upon asking, people say that it is suitable for drinking in groups. I think any place with decent food that allows drinking is good for such events.Only reason I am giving a 2 star is because the other Dhaba options nearby are not that good either.

Cooling Of A/C was not good as there is only 1 window ac in a large room... Overall I would recommend to those who are onto a casual party mood...with friends...

From all the Dhabas present from Sambalpur city to Bargarh city Ray Dhaba is the famous one for its food. Its a heaven for non-veg lovers. Veg is relatively ok. But the main focus is on non-veg. The food preparation is good as compared to others Dhabas in the route. There signature dish are Mughlai Chicken, Afghani Chicken, Chilly Chicken, Chicken Kasa etc are some of the top dishes. The mutton prepared is also good. The best thing which goes with this type of food is butter tandoori roti. You can find many kind of beverages starting from cold drinks to beer and alcohol as well. You will find hens running around the places. You will get a real feeling of having desi food in Dhaba style. Overall the place is good.
