The overall experience was average. would have given more stars if small basic things were managed properly. It costed me about ₹170 to get a glass of milk, which by any stretch of imagination is not worth it. The AC apparently is turned off at 4AM even though we paid for AC room. The AC air made me sick and I got rough cough because of it. Even though it mentioned parking, I had to park it on road as they said they didnt have space, quite shocking when it is mentioned in their property details.

The rooms were fine. service could be better. the extra mattress was brought late at 11 pm and we had to wait and call them multiple times. one room was sanitized and the other wasnt. I could clearly tell the difference by the smell of the sanitizer. the amenities werent available as promised. and soap, paste and brush were given only for one person while we booked two rooms for 5 people. overall experience was fine. but I think this could be better.we were made to wait for a long time after long journey, we were forced to give IDs of every person. we told them we would give it in an hour after checking in as someone at home must go to our house and send pics of ID of mom and sister.

No outside food allowed. People will come from different places and want to enjoy local food. There might be cases where they cant go out enjoy food outside in current situation. Thats the reason customer might prefer to order from outside and enjoy in room. These ppl are not allowing outside food which is highly disappointing. They warned us to eat outside and come or order from their restaurant which is costing whooping high prices..not happy the way they responded. Never ever visit this place again.

My visit to hotel was a very nice experience by me. It has great amenities hotel people upgraded my room to suite room from imperial room and it was quite unexpected and lovely gesture by the hotel staff. Room is quite neat and staff are immediately available to answer the queries and food is also quite good and tasty. But unknowingly we decorated our room with flowers and it has got some stains on the bedsheet and quilt so hotel people charged us 2500/- which I felt is too costly for a bed sheet and I had to pay that other than that all others were good and i recommend people to stay in this for a good experience.

A decent hotel in Kakinada. The rooms are clean and well maintained...For any issues or concerns, the front office team always assists right away, especially Mr. Balaji has a welcoming nature towards guest who visits hotel.....I prefer and recommend this hotel for all types of stay... the only issue is that there is limited parking space...other than this everything is great in terms of ambiance, food, spacious rooms...

For starting it is NOT a 3 star hotel.Incorrect description on website for so many amenities.No parking space available . Only space for 3 cars and if you do not get the space ,hotel staff is least bothered , they will ask you to park it in on the road . Such a pathetic hotel staff . We have to call 7-8 times for things like pillow , water bottles . Washroom had bad water connection which was not fixed till our checkout. All the food sent to our room was delayed and was sent in like parcels with disposal cutlery and plates.Each time they charged us extra for packing . Complimentary breakfast was served us without asking our options and choices. One disposable plate had all the food items and was just sent to our room which was cold. Hotel saff is rude , unapologetic and possess least bothered kind of attitude. We regret the day spent at such a pathetic hotel.

Pathetic management at the hotel. we booked 4 rooms in all. There were 9 parking slots for 55 rooms, I mean by no logic this is enough. We didnt have enough parking slots to park our 3 vehicles. Management wasnt cooperativr when couple of our friends wanted to book a room and made mistake in online booking. tap water was served to us when we asked for water. we asked for extra mattresses they gave them, but only after 10s of reminders. we asked for bottled water and had to follow up 10s of times to get them. overall very poor experience at Venky residency..

Very hard bedding. And poor lighting. They are using dim lights for ambience but I think they should even provide good light for people to work. Or write something important or perform video calls or conferences. The lighting issue is really disturbing. And uncomfortable sleep due to hard bedding.

It was a wonderful stay! hospitality was good! and the ambiance was good too! definitely a place to stay with friends as a friends we love to have privacy, freedom and most importantly no notices though we make much noise ! not in the way our next room people will get disturbed

Worst experience again 5 th time after one year. In ordered food the panner tikka biriyani they used spoiled panner and capsicum on 14/8/21. Make it as both veg and non veg in same restaurant.

But they are charging 38/- for 1ltr water bottle and room cost for single occupancy is 2200/- plus. They r looting by saying it’s 3 star property. It’s doesn’t even meet 1 star. Review for Restaurant only -Have visited few times over the years along with family. Its an okay place to dine. Now the restaurant and overall ambience looks lot more dilapidated. Service & Maintenance are average. They couldnt provide a larger table/merge the adjacent tables to accommodate 5 of us. The tables look shabby and are mostly on need of repair. The only saving grace was that the food was okay. Looks like a failing restaurant dealt a big blow by COVID-19.

Room ambience is not good with 3star hotel price. Breakfast is very limited options but good thing is they serve to room directly. Management doesnt accept for 2 hrs extention, we were checked in 7 p.m in the evening that to we informed before. Overall very dissapoint. A decent hotel in Kakinada. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Food quality is quite okay. They also have a restaurant in the ground floor. The location is also approaching with lots of establishments in the reach of the hotel. I stayed there in quarantine times and they maintained all the COVID safety protocols.

We went for small vacation hence we booked our stay here. I staye in Executive room for 3 days. Rooms are pretty clean and comfortable. Hotel staff and owner are very friendly in nature and they guided us to visit different places. Good food quality and service. Must try pot biryani and tandoori fish. Overall very good experience.

Overall the hotel is good but has some internal issues because theres a miscommunication between staff as they dont give you much support. You cant customize your food before ordering it. They wont allow you to smoke in the building premises. A strict warning for smokers else you will be levied upto 2000INR as fine. So you have to go down to the hotel smoke there and come back. There is not much rapo between customers and hoteliers, receptionist at night doesnt listen to what you say, you wont get your food delivered from zomato upto your room. You have to pay GST even for water bottle which is on complimentary. I wasnt expecting that. Last but not least there is no bell boy or hotel boy at night even if you are in emergency. Hotel staff doesnt come to you on time. Conclusion : Food tastes average. The washroom is clean so as the room too. A great view from the balcony but its too small you might even fall down if you not being careful.

A budget hotel at a strategic location. Rooms are well laid out and though not a great ambience, it certainly serves the purpose. Food is very good and famous for pot biryanies. For the price point they offer, its certainly is a good stay. Cellar parking is limited.

Venky Residency is situated ideally in prime location. The ambiance is beautiful and perfect for family outing once in while.The hotel staff is very polite and also provide valuable information on the dishes if asked and are very professional.The menu consists both veg and non veg. I have tried vegetarian dishes and was very impressed with the food. The soup was wonderfully prepared. Forget to ask the name of chef. Kindly forward compliments on my behalf.The serving staff was equally very good.The menu also serves south Indian breakfast only in the morning.The restaurant closes at 10 P.M.Would recommend definitely for tickling your taste buds.

Good place for solo travellers, male and female. Book through goibibo for cheap and better prices. Those who are passive smokers, beware as you are not allowed to smoke around the premises either in your room or you will be charged for a fine upto 2000 INR for hotel staff(hotel policies). They do tell you that outside food not allowed but you can get your online food order zomato and the staff will deliver it to you. 4 kms from kakinada Beach/Port and 13kms from coringa wildlife sanctuary. You can either roam around by renting a bike (just dial app) or ola cabs to roam around freely. Beware the ola car owners tell you that they dont want to come through the app with th booking price(eg. 6 hours 60kms 1350 rupees and they ask you to cancel it and tell their own price of 1600 to 1800 rupees with respect to the package only).

The hotel stay was ok. Value for money. But the guys at restaurant will take your phone and write their own 5 star review which is absolutely horrible and conniving. That’s y I’m giving u guys a 4 Stars. Don’t ever cheat the guest. Not sure how many reviews here are legit, never-the-less the food is absolutely incredible. Ask for waiter Venkatesh, he will server you the best

It is quite famous in Kakinada. If you come here to visit Kakinada, then you will definitely have to visit. Non-veg items that you can get there are one of the best ones in Kakinada. They also have best banquet halls and seminar halls.

Average place. The rooms need to be more clean. Even towels and soap are not kept and need to be reminded. Water is plentiful is an advantage for taking bath. Bath tub is broken and not maintained well. Restaurant food quality needs to be improved and varieties are very few. Staff are polite but take time to respond. We can manage to stay for a day but not enjoyable experience.

Too commercial. They deal with the guests as customers and not guests. We booked online and the normal check-in is at 12 pm. When we landed there at 10.30am the hotel was not ready to let us check in and wanted us to pay 500/- extra. We told them clearly that were not going to stay for 24 hrs and would checkout in just 8 hrs to travel back. But they were adament and argued. With lot of argument they allowed us.

Its too much hyped on MMT. Staff and service is very good. Ambience na. Bad smell through lifts and corridors. Average bed sheets. Stinky bathrooms. They seriously need to buy a bulk of air fresheners and room fresheners... if they improve in cleanliness and ambience it can be 4 to 5 star experience...The room what you get for 2 people is not that great for 2. Its too congested.If you come to see local places and local business its a good place but not for staying and relaxing.
