1.Entrance is 20rs per adult 10rs for children2. Parking is 20rs3. Have canteen for lunch with basic biryani and noodles but not meals.4. Its has long walk for 4kms5. Boating is prohibited by AP Govt since Papikondalu tragedy6. Camera and Video cams are not allowed but no one is strictly checking.7. Can carry our own cooked food or from outside.8. Children below 12 years has play area.9. Washroom is available but not much clean.10. Have bird’s eye view where u need to climb. Opt with smaller steps its easy to climb.11. Half day is fine with out boating. Go with friends or family during pleasant climate, so photos will be very good.12. Can see only snails and small fishes otherthan that no animals aprt from birds sounds.13. Drinking water u have to carry or buy it.14. Had place for tea, juice, drinks apart from food canteen.Like if u love the review 😀

Not so great place to spend your weekend. There are no more birds left in the sanctuary. You can find birds outside the sanctuary. Only good thing I found here is boating.

Board Walk in Mangroves forest gives a nice experience & view from boat Point, pleasant wind blow will make you relax at that place

Went there with no expectations and still was irritated. It’s okay to roam around, but without any sight of animals, I felt disappointed. Even boating was halted, don’t know the reason why. Food is available (didn’t try, so cannot comment). My personal opinion is not to visit in the summer, you will be dehydrated within minutes. Almost 4km walk inside. Visit at your convenience, definitely not a must visit in my opinion.

Awesome experience and greenery. But you can not any wildlife there except the fact that it is a wild sanctuary. You hardly find monkeys. It is worthy to take a drive to backwaters by a ferry and find the Hope Island.

Its so good place to visit

Its interesting. The mangroves are great fun to walk around in on the wooden bridge.The positive here is that they have BINS.The negative here is that people seem to have very bad aim.If there are a few hours in the day that need killing, this seems as good a place as any.Thing to keep in mind is the wood bridge is a tad precarious at times and the monkeys can get agressive.

Lands that allow you to walk through the forest looking at Flora and Fauna. Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary is famous and well-known for its saltwater crocodiles and various salt-tolerant species of flora like Avincinia, Rhizophora and many more. The region also sees heavy growth of herbs and shrubs.

Its a wonderful place for couples, groups and families. Beautiful locations for photos. Its a property of our India. We have to save forests.

It is sanctuary which has wooden bridge all over the park and we can enjoy walking in the morning hours. We can have better photos and there is boating facility option in the sanctuary.

The wooden and glass bridges give memorable experiences. Watch tower gives an immense beautiful view, back waters are such a beauty. Memorable moments ! ❤️

Its very nice experience and nice place

The place is good, but it was not maintained that well. Cameras are allowed but with a little extra fee. Boating and some other places are under maintenance when I visited the place. Make sure to contact them before your visit, so that you can make sure that everything is working well.We have taken some good pictures of Kingfisher (common blue).

Must visit place. Very neatly maintained dont carry plastic as its not allowed inside. One can enjoy pure nature walk, one thing we missed is boat riding otherwise it would have been exciting also.

Good place for a weekend walk.Its beautiful place for nature lovers, can visit with the kids. Worst part is AP tourism dept maintains Canteen and parking lot outside the entrance, toilets are not maintained, no proper service at the canteen. Visitors parking at their will, parking areas are ugly..

Best for children and young age , old people can also enjoy if they can walk a distance without any food ,because no stall is available for buying snacks or water.It also amazing for photo shoots

Its a really diffrent experience the other wildlife safaris as you can con cover most part on foot on a wooden way which is made up on high-low tide area between the mangrove.Best place for nature and peace lovers.Dont forget to bring the camera especially bird watchers.The wooden trail ends at the boating area where you can take a ride to the river.You can see fiddler crabs here too which have one large claw then other.Just one thing, apply mosquito repellent before coming here.

It is the second largest stretch of mangrove forests in India. You need to take an entry ticket and parking facility is also there. You can find a restaurant made up of wood. Washrooms for ladies are there.Mangrove forests are some what warm and humid. So better dont visit this place on a sunny day as you may get excessive sweating which would probably lead you to get dehydration.A very good place for children and wildlife lovers. You can see number of birds, snails, fishes and some other creatures like fishing cats & smooth-coated otters but rarely.Boating was used to be there but they stopped boating recently. Hope they would start it again.Use of plastic bags is strictly prohibited here. You will have to deposit money for every polythene bag you carry and the amount will be refunded when you go out with those bags. So, be aware of it.

Timely opening. I went exactly at 9 and with me came in the office staff. Place is a heaven for couples. Although family with kids also can enjoy the wilderness. It has few snack bars and cool drink shops. Boating and childrens park is available. Board walk is one of a kind experience. U will feel like you are in some Hollywood horror movie. Its truly awesome for one day picnic destination.

Coringa ...one of the best natures beauty...boating in coringa is closed...because of covid...if there is boating ride ..u have a beautiful experience between lush green mangroove forests....

Nature’s lap located at 30 minutes drive from Kakinada.It is filled with greenery on all the sides and is located along the coast.You can visit similar places anywhere. only thing that differs is that, You can see the scenic nature around while travelling on the wooden walk path.The place is equipped with boating facility, Visiting tower, wooden bridges.

Govt developed this place a lot but no proper drinking water facility and only one toilet in the whole sanctuary. Carry drinking water in your own waterbottle.The best thing about this place is various birds, butterflies and very colourful crabs can be found all over the swamp. Main attraction of this place is a boat ride which can be personally booked for a group or you can take a speed boat ride through the mangrove forest to the sea. Many otters can also be found in the river.

Its a place for rainy season or evening. In sunny day, it become difficult to walk inside and lots of mosquitoes are there. There is boat ride and wooden plank walkway available. Not much to observe. Decent place for evening time.

Good place to hangout with friends especially girl friend.Also good place to enjoy with family and kids.Theres a wooden bridge into the mangroves of more than 2kms length and 5or6 feet above the ground.Its a thrilling experience for nature lovers.Theres a boat ride from tulyabagha river into the Bay of Bengal, and a trip to old light house remains from the British rule.Overall you will love this place

Excellent when you visit in winter

There were literally NO birds/animals at all during our visit. Oh wait, we saw MONKEY atleast.They made everyone wait for almost an hour to purchase tickets for boat ride. No proper maintenance, not much staff to guide us. We are so disappointed, pretty much frustated and left the sanctuary. Those who wanted to see NATURE alone, can enjoy this place.

A unique way to enjoy nature and its beauty. The wooden walkover place through the very swamp forest area makes you feel comfortable to enjoy every part of the forest. And the amazing view in the end of the river as it looks a great majesty.

This place is DOPE for exploring the unexplored part of East Godavari. A very beautiful n peacefull place. If possible take a guide with you theres a lotta science n need to know the GEOGRAPHICAL history about this Place.

Beautiful and serene. Dont take speed boat, go by the slower & bigger one - gives u more time to see birds and mangroves. Keep a mosquito repellent & water bottle handy especially if you are travelling with kids.

Great place to visit for its unique nature(mada adavulu), you can see more of it in climax scenes of telugu movie name DETECTIVE by Mr.Vishal. walking on the wooden way through the forest or sanctuary is so new, thrilling. you will get awesome pics in there. wildlife you cant see much of it, it is more towards nature

Its nice place to visit near Kakinada. Though we faced trouble to find this place because Google maps took us another village and local people didnt know this place with its name. At last after 1 hour we found this place. Boats are available here, also some water sports were there. The canopy walk was awesome.

Good place to go. Didnt find a lot of wildlife. There were a lot of birds, you see only when you go on the boat trip. Boat trips are closed for monsoon. There are food shacks here. Need atleast 4 hours to cover this place.

Wonderful place to visit , spend time in nature in the woods. The wooden path in the sanctuary is awesome to walk on. The view point is very good to watch the surroundings from top. Finally the boat ride from the sanctuary to sea is nice but it is short and costly.

Recently renovated wildlife sanctuary with less number of animals to get crossed with. But has a serene atmosphere and high on lush. Cool place to pass the time.

It is a mangrove forest.the wooden platform welcomes you inside the forest. you can clearly spot the roots of mangrove trees..outstanding experience.the greenery,the back water river is beyond expectation. the boating is also available. but it is not properly maintained,the approach road is long from the main road and there is no transport.the approach road is muddy also. but as a whole a good experience

One of the Largest bird sanctuary in India, its in the banks of River Godavari, scenic spots, variety of birds, nature is excellent. Here Godavari merges in the Sea. It will take 2 to 3 hours to visit the sanctuary. Taken the slow boat to enjoy the ride. Closes at evening 5pm. Nature walk is very good. Small play area for children. Facilities can be improved. Near to highway and transportation is also available from Kakinada or Amalapuram. Enjoyed the place.

Now they stopped walking on wooden bridge n boating as well... Do go there n dont waste ur Rs.20 to get mosquito bites....but some satisfaction was my kids played little there....

One of the best place to visit near by kakinada, it was very near to kakinada city. Entry fees was 20 rupees and parking also available. Inside 2.5 km walk way is there and that too walkways are made with wood.And more over Here boating also there with minimum charge of 90 rupees. Finally one word , Best place to visit.

Excellent place. Must visit when you are in Kakinada. Mangroves are really beautiful. Calm and Peaceful location. You can go for Boating as well. Ropeway, children parks are available. A small stall for Food and beverages are available inside. Best place for couples to spend some time. Park is neatly maintained, no plastic are allowed inside.I didnt find much animals inside, except some birds, reptiles, butterflies. Snails 🐌 where found in abundance.Beautification of the park is under progress so it will more attractive by the time you visit the place.

Wild life was well preserved that not even a rat available.... greenery is good tho.. theres a river named Tulya bhaga which is surrounded by few birds & boat ride was good & without turbulence ...the wodden path which looks like a huge MAZE is huge & confusing but looks good tho... shootings of movies like RX100 were done here..... theres view point frm where u can have clear view if nothing but thick green greenery & restaurants & soft drinks points available...

A sanctuary built inside a mangrove forest. Variety of wildlfe exists, but can be seen very rarely. There is boating that goes to the tip of the ocean along the Thulabhagya river. Overall a very nice relaxing and scenic experience.

A beautiful sanctuary filled with mangrove all around. The wooden board walk inside the sanctuary is refreshing but with boating closed for maintenance, there is not much to do here. You can spot a variety of birds and monkeys, other than that, it’s just a nature walk.

Visited coringa on 13th October 2019. Unfortunately all the boat trips were cancelled due to recent boat tragedy at Deviptnam. No activity. All the wooden pathways were closed. No wild birds or animals were sighted. I think I have gone in a wrong time.

Its a good place to visit. It has been a hotspot for filmmakers. Photoshoot spot. The place is peaceful. Visited twice Everytime it was less crowd. Go during a non cloudy day. So that you could go for a boat ride. It is a must. Of course thats the only thing you could do there other than walking. The bird view point was good. All you could see are trees around you.

Beautiful place . There are no wild animals, but many species of migratory birds can be found if we take a boat trip in the Godavari river.

The coringa wildlife sanctuary is Indias 2nd biggest Mangroves forest. We had our guide Sandeep and with him the exploration was really great. Entry for locals is 20 INR for for foreigners 250 INR. Plastic is banned and you are not allowed to bring your own food. In the park there is a boat service, too. On our date boat service was cancelled because of weather.

Coringa Wildlife sanctuary contains rich vegetation of Mangroves, about 24 different species. Entrance fee is 20 rupees, but it worth. Boating is available, the date when I visited - its was temporarily stopped due to maintenance. Watch tower gives rich vote of green mangroves around.

Paradise for Green lovers... but there is no wild life as the name suggests. Do not take the ferry, instead take the speed boat. Youll enjoy the ride to the core.Do not go for THIS location from farther distances. Instead if you happen to be in Kakinada or Yanam and you have couple of hours to spend, then you may go there.

We have been to this place in December 2020. You get to walk on the wooden walk-ways constructed amidst the mangroves. Its a different experience to walk amidst the silent place. During our visit, the boat ride was not operational, probably due to which I didnt find this place very exciting apart from the quiet walk. If the boat ride is operational, you can go to the other side to visit the fishing cat view point; if you are lucky, you may spot one too. Another attraction very nearby this place is Hope island; do check that out too.

It was Great but Visit before 4pm except Tuesday

The Coringa wildlife Sanctuary is the second largest mangrove forest in India. This is 18kms from Kakinada port which is close to 350kms from Hyderabad. You will get trains from the Hyderabad city easily which goes to Kakinada directly. There are not enough wildlife to see for a commoner. Also the boating in the delta region is closed now due to safety reasons.

Went there twice. In 2017 enjoyed the walk amongst the mangroves and thick vegetation and also enjoyed the boating. The mangroves are different from the regular parks. U dont walk on the mud. Instead. A wooden ramp is built on which u can walk and look at the trees and muddy ground. It is very thick so not much animals to see. Second time I went in 2019 December, a Tuesday which happens to be a holiday. So returned without entering.

Lot of monkeys over there. . If you are going with your family please take a about your kids and your food and belongings because those monkeys are very dangerous more than humans 😉😆
