The elders say that the Pandavas who lived in exile at that time were Ekachakranagar, the present Kaiwara.Kaewara is a pilgrimage center in Chikballapur district of Karnataka. In the Dwara Yuga, it was Ekachakra nagar. Shri Yoginarayana Yantindra. The Pandavas had come here while they were in exile. Legend has it that Bhimsena founded the Bhimalingeshwara Temple here. It is also known as Kaivarunadu. This is the place where the great saint-prophecy Sri Yoginarayana Yatindra was born.This is the place where they worship and worship and have their graves

A peaceful temple with its own serenity and spirituality. Every year on my birthday we pay visit here because we have done Annadhaana seva here. It’s really nice to be involved with activities like lifting the palanquin of Sri Thathayya utsava moorthy,serving lunch and prasadha for devotees. Do donate for Annadhaana, it will help us in getting blessings for the long run.

Bengaluru-Devanhalli-Vijayapura-Kaivara: preferred route to avoid traffic @old Madras road.Kaivara .ca n be within 2hour( Max). Kaivara a religious important place with sthala Purina. Good to have Darshan and relaxation. You can plan a stay for which check with temple trust. Free food served to devotees between 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.You can visit Amaranarayana temple and Bheemlingeshwara temple within 300 Mrs. Radius. Places have Mahabharata relevance and highly apprecitable events.From there 5 kms visit thathayya meditation cave.A travel to Kailasagiri cave temple from the location is good to reach Top hill with huge cave temple . A short walk to climb towards cave is must.At the bottom of hill, the free lunch for devotees is available between 12.30 p.m.-3.30 p.m..A good family trip with private vehicle is good

This is the place dedicated to a famous saint Narayanappa popularly known as Kaiwaram Thathaiyya. He has composed beautiful keerthanas on Amara Narayana Swamy (Vishnu) in Kannada and Telugu Languages. The Yoga has been explained in detail by him in one of his writings Bramhandapura Shatakka. The ashram also has Nitya Annadana Program where hundreds of people are served in a day and it is worth eating here rather than eating in small private hotels in Kaiwara.

Ashamed to write on the extreme shabbiness of the location all around the temple. Stray dog packs all over the temple ground, menacing and dog poop everywhere. Just the temple maybe be clean inward but the hovel of the village abutting the main road is very sad, with garbage. Most shop keepers are from a peace loving background and dont be surprised to see a lot of them, in their caps et al, beside you at the lunch table in the temple. Maintained by MS Ramaiah people!!! if they could inspire even a 100 of their VAST students to come and do some social work, ONCE each month, the place would be a shining one. I waited 35 years after a vision only to realise that the poor saint has no cleanliness around HIM.

This temple is filled with strong positive vibrations, keep going to this temple and darshan of kaiwara thatha its great.

Pleasant atmosphere with reasonable room rents 350 and 500.. Rooms are completely furnished n 24 hours running hot water..Nitya annadanam during lunch n dinner session.. Tatha dharsan can be done very easily during any season except on Guru Poornima days where Rathosthavam and 72 hours akand sankeerthan will be happen. The only place Akand sankeerthan can be done continuously 365 days...
