Nice place to relax with family. A good place too spend time with friends. Pedal boats are available for rent.

Nice place for evening walk

Nice place to hang out with family a small water pond. Accessible to everyone. Now renovated to attract people by including small boating (kutta vanchi ). Which starts from morning 10 am to 6 pm and also some other water entertainment events are coming shortly.Childrens park is also available here.

Good place to visit at evenings and nights

Its a wonderful place.

Not much shade, so would not recommend it during noon time. Very less area around the lake so less things to do.. But area is clean and park is free.

Best place to spend evening time with friends and family. Calm and quite place.. There wont be any shop near by to buy anything.. So carry water if needed.. We can walk around the chira as a evening walk for for our relaxation. There was a small park near by. Bt Now its filled with grass and cant able go near by.

Indranchira is small park in Kolenchery area under KTDC now with entry fee of RS.10.Its situated near Brookside club.Nice place to spend evening time with family and good siteseeing also.

Natural beauty but polluted with waste

It is lake. They offer boating etc. But i did not see any boat in the lake. It is very nice to spend a little time to walk or ride around the lake.

A peaceful place to hangout with family or friends. Seating availability is less. A small fee of Rs.10 is charged for entry. A small area for playing is available for children. Parking space is less.

Good place to pass time. Govt must try to St a boating here by eliminating the moss gathered here. Park benches and boat structure are good.

Peaceful place for mind relaxation and tremendous area for having fun withour cost

Indiranchira is the host of a beautiful boat race which happens once in every year. In one side of the the lake there is the Brook side club which is high class club and has a spacious auditorium and play area. In one side there is Green Valley water company. I another side is a childrens play area which very famous among kids and adults alike. In front of the we have ST Peters CBSC School. The pump House of the water authority of Kerala is also in the side the lake. There sitting places in shapes of boats and mermaids are there to welcome us to their abode.

Best time to come after noon there are small tend like structure for resting.Boating is avalable dont know the timings...Their is a small park for playing for kids....

Indrachira situated near Kolancherry, 4 kilo meter away from Kochi - Madurai Highway. This place is maintained by Kerala tourism department, is also called leisure park. Placed in a very green strip of land Indrachira lake is a beautiful scenery. It is a perfect place for evening get together.

One of the poorly maintained waterbodies near kolenchery. The drinking water plant adjascent to it make ghe place unworthy for hangouts.

Indirachira is a beautiful spot near Kolenchery town.There is a lake with a proper walkway surrounding it. A walk around the lake is very relaxing in the mornings/evenings.Brookside club is situated right next to it.The tourism department is currently engaged in converting the spot into a major tourist attraction - with rest areas and boating facilities.

Terribly disappointing to say the least. Its easy to find using GPS and the road access is good. However theres really not a lot to do here except for theKotta Vanchi experience. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and we were surprised to see hardly anyone there. Some people sitting there were locals and we saw absolutely no tourists which I found strange as it was the weekend and the weather was good. No specific vehicle parking facilities as such. I got bored very quickly as theres not much to see or do. Wouldnt bother going there again or recommending to anyone.
