Overall, great scenery and trails for everyone to enjoy. Excellent job at keeping the trails maintained and clean. Because of the amount of trails, you may want to bring a GPS, lol.. Do bring plenty of water during the summer months, its extremely hot on the trails. Enjoy the park via hiking, biking or horseback riding.. Just be sure to keep it clean, so everyone can enjoy the beauty. Be safe out there.

This place is awesome for all those nature lovers and city slickers!! Fun ride down river... Remember, you have to paddle all the back up river against a nice current 👍

The park is beautiful. The rental staff was friendly and helpful. I rented a kayak and paddled downstream to the second dam. It was an amazing experience. Be mindful of alligators along the river banks. Pay attention to the speed of the current as you float downstream as youll be fighting that current on the return leg. I recommend a half day rental if you plan to paddle and photograph.

A lovely park in Jupiter Florida with multiple trails and lots of amazing sights to see. Its got winding trails through the forest with lots of beautiful trees and foliage. Theres rentals available, such as canoes. Theres a neat trail in which you can walk up to a sawmill from 1930, as well as see some replica buildings from an old farm. Even on a hot summer day, this park is great to visit.

A great place for outdoor activities. You can go canoeing and kayaking. There are many bike paths. Picturesque places and lively aligators. The main thing is to calculate your strength when choosing a route.

Amazing park!! Kayaking here is smooth and easy through beautiful swampy river waters. There are a couple dams that provide great swimming holes. Kayak and canoe rentals available. Horse trails but those are being your on own horse! Highly recommend a weekend kayak trip!!

Beautiful park with many walking and biking trails as well as waterways for canoeing or kayaking. There there are options of shaded trails or full sun areas. Bountiful wildlife like deer, alligators, snakes, birds et cetera. Also set up like old sawmills.

What a gem! My friend and I rented kayaks earlier this week and spent the afternoon paddling on the river that winds its way through this park. Not only was the scenery beautiful but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Candace. She really went “above and beyond the call of duty, from outlining pros and cons of various styles of life jackets to ensuring we had the “best” paddles, and told us several helpful tips before we set out. When we got back she listened enthusiastically to us gush about all the wildlife we had seen and helped us identify several different types of fish. We had lots of questions and she was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to try to get answers to anything she wasn’t sure about. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about her!As far as things we saw: of course so many beautiful trees! The Cyprus trees with their “knees” are so gorgeous, the “strangler figs” and giant heart shaped philodendrons winding their way up trees were magical. We saw lots of different kinds of fish (the most interesting were plecostomas and alligator gar), alligators, loads of birds including several different types of woodpecker and a hawk that swooped out of the sky to catch a frog not 20 feet away from us! All in all a beautiful way to spend the day. 🥰

Wonderfully beautiful, tropical, serene and fun experience! We kayaked the Loxahatchee River for 4 hours and saw herons, numerous painted turtles and 3 alligators. The Cypress trees and “knees” were unique. Also we packed a lunch and ate at the second waterfall. So peaceful! I highly recommend bringing snacks, or lunch and water. A “must do” adventure for all ages whether you are a local or a tourist! The gals at the Jupiter Outdoor Center were super friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved it ❤️

Id like to leave a bad review so that no one comes here. Its amazing. Definitely my fave park in the area. Great bike trails, really cool pavilions with picnic tables and grills, thatched roofs, occasionally youll see an alligator here. Really beautiful. Also, they do have bike rentals at a little trailer at the entrance. Lots of parking spots bc there are parking areas throughout the park.

Absolutely a must see if youre looking to get away from everything and just zen out. It has multiple trails for hiking or biking, with little side stops filled with current and historical info. Its so peaceful and beautiful there, the animals fon,t even run away from you. It has bike and kayak rentals available as well, which is incredibly convenient!

Riverbend Park is the perfect place to enjoy outdoors in Palm Beach County. Bring your kayak or rent one and have fun exploring the pre-historic and scenic Loxahatchee River or hiking/biking historic sites from the Seminole War.

This is a great place to go. We only went twice, once for biking and the other for kayak. Definitely we will go more and more. Lots fun to explore, the area is huge enough, many picnic tables with pavilions, first come first serve. I did not notice many wildlife, one snake one rabbit though, since I just went around the regular trails, but on the reviews many people say they saw deers, gators, even manatees if you went when weather is cool enough and water is high. What a wonderful scene.The park is free, lots of parkings, well-maintained, locals love it. Have fun

Its a great place to get a great walk, ride, or run in. If thats not your cup of tea they also have kayaks to go down the river.Great scenery all around if you like nature! My fiance and I are having our engagement photos taken there

Scenic, Calming, Adventure awaits!There were quite a few new things I noticed on my recent visit: a food truck stand, Riverbend park merch, more kayaks, more fun!Pros: The scenery and wildlife. Gators, turtles, and birds are the most common sightings. You are guaranteed to see at least one gator sunbathing on the river bank.Know before you go- Choose your path wisely: There are easy paths for families or beginners to take in the river. There are also more challenging bends to navigate. Look at the map or ask a park associate.- Bring swim suit bottoms or shorts you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a hat and a plastic bag to store electronics. I personally prefer a fanny pack.Biking: Not to be overlooked are the bike trails where you can see deer and fowl.Kayak rentals:The only downside is the rental price and fees. One tandem kayak rental for an hour was almost $50. Understandably, the money goes to maintaining the extensive network of channels. Bring your own boat if you can. The bike rentals can be pricey, as well.

Rented kayaks and canoes. Saw lots of fish, birds, turtles, a couple of gators, cute otters, and raccoons! Beautiful peaceful fun family day!

The team here is so kind and accommodating. Its clear they love what they do. I brought some friends and family, we all had a great time.

Peaceful canals and main river. Very quiet! Towards the end you start getting into home’s backyards, and feels a little invading. However... there’s at least 4 miles of pure bliss and lots of wildlife!

This is one of the best place to Kayak in Florida. I recommend going down the river and into the Cypress Canopy. It is an amazing trip and is like going back in time before development took over South Florida.

They allow bicycles on their paths. Be aware the surface is packed sand. If it has rained, there will be areas that are slightly muddy and soft ground. Overall, theirs lots of shading from the trees.FYI- make sure to get a trail map at the info board. While theres trails marked with sign posts, you still need to know of the various cross sections of the park.

Hidden treasure! Riverbend Park is one of my favorite destinations for kayaking and biking in Palm Beach County. It’s stunning, vast, and offers is incredible encounters with wildlife. Have seen so many deer, birds, gators and other amazing creatures there over the years.The river is perfect for a day of canoeing or kayaking to disconnect from city life. You can bring your own or rent them on-site with Jupiter outdoor center. $35 for a day on the river is super reasonable. They also offer discounts for Palm Beach residents, so make sure to ask.The park offers many biking, walking or hiking trails and loops. The bathrooms in facilities are well maintained and the park rangers are very nice.Sadly, they do not allow pets on the grounds.

Took my oldest put for a bike ride on the trails and we had a nice time. Its cool to be around nature and we saw some fauna. A few years back we kayaked and had a good time too. What a great spot and another reason why we love Jupiter!

Beautiful day kayaking, winding through the canopy of Cypress trees, picnicking, and swimming at several points throughout.If it is your first time, remember that there is a current that carries you down, but youll have to paddle against it coming back. Paddling back is easier in a tandem kayak and, if youre renting, come before they sell out. If your only tandem option is a canoe, see if they will give you kayak paddles instead of the canoe paddles.

Very nice and friendly park, the bicycle riders arent egotistical like most parks around and everyone else is very nice and kind. Clean bathrooms and nice long paths. Many nice places for a picnic as well.

My son 💙 brought me here for mommas day yesterday and we rented the single kayaks. What a great park clean and very challenging not so much on the way down but way back. Best advice get to the second waterfall and bring a lunch and relax get your strength up to go back. Also I didnt bring a waterproof bag and my towel was soaked 🙃 be prepared and have a change of clothes in the vehicle clean restrooms to change.

My friend took me here & it was AWESOME! we saw alligators, snakes, turtles, birds & some manatees on our 10 mile kayaking adventure. We both flipped & almost pooped our pants(in fear of becoming something elses poop!) but are both fine & better versed in staying up.

This park is filled with history and I love that the Parks and Recreation Department offers so many educational experiences for children. I have attended education days for Pioneer Day and The Battle of the Loxahatchee. Both were well organized and seek to provide hands-on experiences that transport the children back in time. Whether you want to have a picnic, explore the trails by foot/bike, or simply just relax there is something at Riverbend Park for you.

We did the 4 hour unguided kayak paddle. Equipment was good, everything was ready when we got there. Staff is friendly and willing to help. The river itself is beautiful. Cyprus knees and alligators and crystal clear water. You paddle downstream to start, so float and enjoy the scenery while you save energy for the return trip against the current.There are 2 spillways with drops. If there is enough water they are fun to paddle over. If there isnt enough water or you dont want to, they built a short portage with easy ramps to get over. Its a nice setup either way. We had enough water barring one spot, but as the dry season progresses make sure to ask or you might end up walking in spots.Overall, a great place to kayak or canoe. Beautiful and definitely get that lost in old FL feel.

Great place to go kayaking with friends and family! I came 1 hour before closing, the staff was so accommodating and friendly! Even explained the best path to take to come back before closing! The scenery is so beautiful! Will definitely come again!

Very pretty small Park that offers, walking trails, gravel trails , biking rentals, kayaks, horses ...bathrooms were clean. Only thing is that runners share the same path as cyclists and you have to be careful.. Im a runner and a cyclists, and Ive encountered hostile runners as well as cyclists.. not all the time ppl coming behind you may call up when theyre approaching you, or when theyre coming towards you, they may not move...best time is early early in the a.m before the crowds get there. For these reasons I prefer, Jonathan Dickinson park

Lots of wildlife if you slow down to look.

We had a blast this afternoon! The staff was great to work with and very helpful. We were on the river for around a couple hours. You go down so far, then around, and paddle back up. Although you paddle upstream on the way back, the current isn’t super strong so it’s not too challenging. We did see 3 gators on the way. 2 on the way down and then another one on the way back up. Overall, we had a lot of fun!

Had a nice time kayaking (Jupiter Outdoor Center rentals were great). Lovely relaxing few hours. We only did the 2 hour tandem rental as this was our first time but next time well probably go for the 4 hour rental. Portaging (is that a word?) over the small dam wasnt hard at all. Lovely park. Things like this remind me why I live in Florida.

Even though it is easy to access it is still a hidden gem. The Loxahatchee River is a designated wild and scenic river and you can paddle around the park or make a day of it to Trapper Nelsons and Johnathan Dickinson Park. So many treasures: wild deer, turkey, otters, alligators. Perfect for running, walking, horseback riding, cycling.

Lots of wide, flat, hard dirt trails along creeks ponds and hammocks.

Great Park with tons to do. Bring your bike to ride the trails or just hike them all and enjoy the beauty of the trees and wildlife. Make sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray. Bike and kayak rentals are available. They run out quickly on the weekends so make sure to get there early.Geocaching is also a favorite at this park. Dont forget to check out the really cool old saw mill and ruins that are scattered around. Portable potties are available throughout hiking and biking trails.

1st time, kayaker, as far as renting the kayak, dont pay for deluxe seat as from what I saw all kayaks have the same seats and find out hard to believe that everybody pays the extra, if they/we do they are far from deluxe. Also if you are over 6 you will feel cramped the whole time, nevertheless a great 2 hours and going over the same is pretty cool.

Great place to bike, kayak and walk. Trails are wide. We rented bikes and spent 2 hours riding around the park. When back in the area, we will be sure to bike these trails again.

My favorite Park in Florida with so much Native American history. You get to see their campgrounds and where the battlefields took place while they defended against attackers. But overall, beautiful place.

The park has grown more and more popular. A lot of people are kayaking, but there are multiple trails for hiking and biking and some historic sites. Its less crowded during summer.

My third visit there and still discovering new trails. Electric bike rentals available now worked great for my wife.

As a local photographer, I think Riverbend is a gem. Beautiful trees covered in spanish moss that glow as the sun sets. Tons of little lakes and bodies of water. Dirt roads for bikes and running, and the park is huge! You can kayak, see wildlife or just have a picnic. I just highly recommend bug repellant, obviously ;)

My first hike here and what a discovery! I will be going back again and again to explore all the various trails. Consider timing as Florida gets into its hot season. Stay hydrated. Totally worth it for all nature lovers and hikers alike!

One of the most beautiful and scenic parks in this area. Very Old Florida with views of the Loxahatchee River, well maintained paths and trails, perfect for biking, hiking, walking and running. Boat launch for canoes, kayaks. We go there everyday to run and there are a variety of paths and trails in a natural setting to enjoy. Highly recommended!

Is my first time in this park and so far I was able to spot 2 alligator while kayaking and a family of deers while getting ready to walk out the park there is walking and bike tracks as well.

Great park, lots of trails to explore, easy for bike ride or walk, fishing, canoeing & enjoy nature, if you do trails at night be sure to bring a good flashlight, a map or a reliable GPS !!!Not too many trash cans around so please take your trash back with you.Cleanest public restrooms Ive ever seen, congrats.

This is one of the best parks in South Florida. We mainly go for the bike trails, but you can also fish, ans go canoeing and kayaking. If you dont have a canoe, kayak or bike you can rent one for a few hours or for the day. If you are walking or cycling you can partake in the picnic areas. There are plenty to choose from, but only a few will have a portable restroom near them. If you think youll have to use the restroom on your outting, make sure you have your own tissue.Also, if you have a picnic you must take your trash with you for there are no trash bins at the park.There is also plenty of wildlife animals to view in the park, lots of trails and shade. Its a great park for the family to spend the day. Highly recommended.

Absolutely magnificent place for a short or a long walk, bike ride or horse ride! Or you can bring your own kayak. Actually, you can rent single, double kayak for a couple of hours or a day. You can also rent a canoe or a bike. You can buy food and water at the food shop. Totally recommend for family or single day out! No dogs, only service dogs are allowed.

Lots of wildlife here. You get around most of the park by gravel forest road sized walks so its nice for an easy walk or bike ride. Great place for canoeing or kayaking on the Loxahatchee river.

Beautiful bike ride area. Not too touristy wild... it needs little bit more nature care and maintenance.

This park is amazing. Deer, peacocks, wild turkeys, gators, etc. The paths are very wide and mostly hard-packed limestone which makes riding bikes very easy and comfortable. You can spend hours biking or hiking through all the trails. The park is kept very clean and taken care of.

Awesome place with loads of bike paths. Or take your canoe thru the many canals and rivers.

Riverbend Park is an absolute Delight. One can spend the whole day there and enjoy themselves. Beautiful scenery Pleasant environment. You can rent bicycles, canoes and kayaks. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely return again, many times again!!!!
