Standing tall at 3672 feet, Girnar is an ancient hill in Junagadh, Gujarat. This centuries old hill is covered with 866 Jain and Hindu temples that are spread over the summits. One will have to climb 9999 steps to reach the final summit. Trek to Girnar Hill starts from Girnar Taleti.

Good for youngster. Here you will found a huge amount to looting for water. Costly everything even a water. People dont care. If you go in restaurant they doesnt provide service. Self service and water problem also. Wouldnt recommend for traveling. Rather than choose different place for traveling who provide better services at least.

There provide many type of service free of cost on hill.

Jain tirth is very clam place and awesome architecture. There are title 27 Jain temple are worshiped. The floor of Jain temple is very cold so Holly person feel good here. Here Jain people is only allowed to do Pooja and all formalities to worship God. Here bathing facility is available only for Jain people. Temple provide free drinking water to all the yatri. This is place is not that much difficult to reach as people say, no doubt there are many challenges that we have to chase them. The biggest challenge is to climb 4000 steps but we can chase it by climbing 1000 steps in first attempt then take rest in every 600 steps it wont straps your legs.At height shopkeeper will charges two times or three times of MRP so it is suggested to always keep water bottle with you because we will get dehydrated and also some toffees and energy bar which keep us energetic every time.It is preferred to start climbing early in he morning(4:00am -5:30 am) because when sunlight falls on you it will make you more dehydrated and you may loos the confidence of climbing.Steps are little sleepery so take note to wear highly gripped and comfortable footware to make your journey safe and more comfortable.

Wonderfulplace, awesome atmosphere, near about 15 hrs by road journey from Mumbai to Junaghad, girnar hills, it advisable to start trek on early morning, near about 05 hrs require to reach to Dattatray Maharaj Temple, view from top is awesome,At the middle old Jain temple is situated.Total 11000 steps need to trek.Bhakta niwas is available for stay at very low rate INR 300 for per room per night,Food also available at ashrams or math,You may found private hotels also with lower rate of INR 500/night/room.All areas clean and secure.

Have been to this place in monsoon, and believe me it was looking heavenly. There was mist everywhere and it was pleasant and cold

Very much encient and holy jain tirth of Shree Neminath Bhagwan. This is kalyanak bhoomi of shree Neminath Bhagwan. There are around 3500 staircase to jain temple. The weather is very much enjoyable. We can feel the nature at height .In early morning we can feel cloud also.At present ropway facility is available to ambaji mata temple which is around 1500 staircase above from jain temple.

Located in the middle of the mighty Girnar Hills, a glorious piece of architecture. Must visit place if you are at Junagadh. Start climbing the hill by 4 or 5am to avoid heat and crowd. There are around 10,000 steps which are well maintained. The journey towards the peak is breathtaking, memorable for a long time. You get to meet lot of sadhus and holy men climbing the hill irrespective of age and gender. I have seen even physically challenged people climbing towards this marvellous temple with lot of enthusiasm. Very underrated compared to other places. You can get to see the 360 degree view of the famous Gir forest from here.

Bagwan Neminath temple, really hard to reach but once you reach its like top of the world. One of the biggest tirth of Jains. Around 4000 steps for one side which is really hard to climb up. Palki facility is available for who those who are not able to climb. Palki fare is different for kids, adults and depends on one side or both around ( 6000/- per person ) for both sides 8000 steps. Lots of Jain dharamshalas are available for lodging, where you get bhojanshala also, which provides you best quality Jain food in minimum cost.

The Jain temple of Lord Nemimath is excellent. After tough journey of 4000 steps once you reach temple, it is all worth and feels more than blessed. Only problem is cleanliness on mountain which needs urgent attention of Girnar civic authorities. Large waste of plastic can be seen everywhere on the mountain. There is no system of waste collection like dustbins and clearing of same periodically. Being a pilgrimage which is visited by thousands of people, it surely needs better management. People visiting also need better awareness and commitment towards nature.

A beautiful temple in a beautiful space in mountains. The main idol of God Neminath is worth seeing.. and the morning Pooja and aarti is amazing. The climb is a little difficult but doable if youre fit enough.

Girnar Parvat is included in the high mountains of India and it is not easy to climb in it, you have to climb 10000 stairs to get the darshan of God here, it takes you 5 to 6 hours and in that time you have to come down You will also find a system to stay above, you can climb Girnar mountain in the day time during the cold but in summer days you will have to climb in the morning only. Or at night so that there is no difficulty in climbing and you do not feel hot. It has a height of 1069 meters and 10,000 steps in it, in the middle you get to see Ambajis temple and also Jain temple. You can also take a lot of food and drink with you so that there is no difficulty in climbing.

Neminath Dadas pratima heals your all exhaustive journey to the top. But when you will reach there you will see boards that will tell the yatra is incomplete without going to Sahsavan:, it says that the route is completely safe, But never ever go there because its a trap since there is ongoing work there and they need donations, you will good stairs till there and then you have to use abandoned stairs which passes through jungles with lot of animals around, broken stairs with no railings and double walk than the original route, there are no shops, no sheds, no resting points with lot of monkeys on the road, and also it will not take you to taleti but another place from where you have to pay 100 rs to reach taleti. Taking more time in coming down than it took to climb up. So go girnar, do Darshan and pooja of Dada and come down

If you are adventurous, you should do visit this place. The people say there are 9999 steps to climb where you come across jain temples at around 4000 steps and then mataajo temple at around 5500 steps and at the last a very small Dattatreya temple. Not only climbing these steps, getting down is also a task.
