Joydeb temple at Kenduli is one of the historical and important terrakotta temple of lord Krishna and Radha. Joydeb is the writer of the holy book Geetgobindam, with verses describing the eternal love of Krishna towards Radha.

Place is so good but there roads are really very very very very bad.

It can make you fell very happy, the ferry ride, I even touched the water while on ferry. Its was awesome feeling. Yeah the ferry gets congested. They also charge you individually ₹5 . And also take your 2 wheeler.

No water during joydev fair (poush mela). Sweets like jalabi, gaja,rosgolla and snacks are available at the fair.

Temporary road . You have to pay toll for traveling through this. For simple four wheeler you have to pay 30 rupees in comparison to Illambazar bridge where toll is 20 rupees.

Extremely disappointing. Illegal and legal sand mining has spoilt the rivers natural beauty. Can we not stop this???

Joydev has a temporary bridge.In monsoon season the bridge is washed under water so better not to take this route in rainy season

Beautiful place but the intensity of tourist is very low all the seasons.The ferry ghat is mainly used by the local people to cross the Ajay river.

The Feri ghat is situated just beside the river Damodar at Joydeb, West Bengal, India. This Feri ghat usually used for transport via river. Small boat, locally called Dingi or Nouka is run by paddle with human.

Way from Naihati to bandel when no train is available.I was here for crossing of Ganga river from naihati to Chuchura for coming to Bandel.Nice view of Ganga with a cold breeze touching you. ❤️I would suggest if there is no train available from naihati to bandel for at least 40mins,means you are in station and you sort out you have to wait for 40mins. Thn I would suggest dont wait!!Just come to ferry ghat... Take a launch(Farr just 6/-) And come to Chuchura, then take an auto to bandel station.

Joydev reminds me of Kenduli Mela and Ajay Nade Chan. Currently the road to Joydev or Kenduli Mela is in a very bad condition. As soon as the lorry loaded with sand passes by, a dust storm starts to blow. The place has not improved much in terms of tourism and there are no facilities for the convenience of tourists or pilgrims.
