I have had one of the best pork dishes till date at Chouka. Even Ghy restaurants cannot match that level of taste. Whenever i will go to Jorhat this is that one place i will never miss to go. Perfect 👍

The behaviour of the staff is very nice. Food is also good but they can improve the quality of some items and they can replace some items with new ones.

Its a nice restaurant. Food quality is good. I ordered veg thali and a pork dish. I enjoyed the veg thali very much since the items were very nice in taste but I expected more items at the price of 100. The pork dish that I ordered was very spicy so the actual taste of the pork dish got vanished because of too many green chillies. You get almost 8/9 pieces of pork at the price of 250 which should be more as I have experienced similar pork dishes in another authentic Assamese restaurant which comes in a good no. of pork pieces for the price.Overall I would say a good restaurant, I will try some other dishes of Chouka some other day.😊 I hope pork dishes will come with more pork pieces in future, being Indian we always look for dishes with quality taste and quantity of pieces.

Pork lover? DONT MISS OUT! I have never tried pork dishes as tasty as theirs. And the cost is very reasonable as well. Visited thrice till now and the taste has been consistent.Do try out pork fry, pork with ou tenga.The veg thali itself comes with many items, 2-3 sabji, alu pitika, black rice dessert, alu bhaji and few others, I dont remember. And along with veg thali, order the pork dish of your choice.

Its awsm plc... I had first tasted when I was in Jorhat at 2019 now again want to try specially Banana leaves pork...it was awsm. Employee were vry humble.

Heard about this restaurant a lot from my friends, finally got a chance to visit white at Jorhat. Neat and clean with a beautiful interior. Ordered Duck with Kumura, different varities of porks like with Till, Bamboo shoot, Boiled, patot diya , pork slad etc and trust me I was full but my mind was not,,, we group of friends has actually cleaned all the dishes along with all side dishes, please note we are not a big foodies like who eat a lot, but the taste of the food made us eat like a bunch of wild hogs :)..please taste the food on Chouka to feel it, words cant explain much.

Great food, cozy dining area. Location is a bit hard to find. But good experience overall.Love their pork dishes. Would recommend calling in earlier to check if dishes are available for the day

Definitely the best Assamese ethnic food I have had in any restaurant in Jorhat. My favourites from this visit are: pigeon with pepper, local chicken with banana flower, and sitol fish curry with tomato. A must-try: black rice pudding. Certainly a 5/5 for a hearty meal. The ambience is quite warm and welcoming as well.

As its name suggest ethinic food is very delicious here.Tried bamboo shoot chicken and sesame chicken both were very unique in taste and very raw.Prices are fair,veg thali is 99 and both the chicken items were 200 each.

Good place to have a time with your family.Good food served, very good interior decor. Two thing pinched me i.e there washroom which was not so neat and clean and the another one is that (Tupula rice is not available for all the time).

Its an awesome restaurant...Nice Assamese ethnic dishes are available here. Recently tried RICE THALI along with CHICKEN with BLACK SESAME (Assamese style). It was delicious.The BLACK RICE PUDDING was just Superb. Moreover the staffs are also very co-operative. Hope to visit again soon.
