This is a great Indian food restaurant. The location is great, the interior is well layed out and spacious despite the small entrance. The staff spoke English and Korean for us.The food itself was stellar. Had the dinner for 2 special it was chicken tandoori (2 sets) and a lamb curry and 2 set of nan bread with 2 beverages. Everything had great flavor and texture.The price was also very agreeable. Things on the menu were good value or great value for the portion sizes!Next time Im in the country if we are hankering for some Indian we are coming back.

I really love eating here! The atmosphere is wonderful with Nepalese lanterns and decorations. The food is amazing! I am addicted to the dal makhani, garlic naan, samosas, and Biryani . Jyoti is one of my favorite places in Seoul and has authentic, fresh, and tasty food from the region. The service is also good. Just a fantastic place!

Staying in the area and wanted a late night snack. Stopped by here to get some quick food to go. The chana masala was very mediocre but the naan was good. Based on the reviews, Im guessing I got the unlucky dish of the house

This place is a North Indian restaurant and bar located in the commercial hub of gongro (종각)Seoul..We ordered the Special set menu for two👍😊Given the generous portions, I think it could easily serve 3-4 people. Also ordered the Nepali dumplings with so delicious typical Nepalese pickled green sauce & sesame seeds chutney Thankfully the garlic naans paneers(cottage cheese)tasted as it should with no sugar added and it was really yummy. Naans and samosas were nicely crisped.curry sauce too much more delicious than you can eat here in Seoul other Indian restaurants...less oily less salty no MSG so what else do you need from Indian cuisine?? Definitely go for jyoti friendly service first time but memorable time thank you so much for everything 😊👍🙏

I visited Seoul in 2018. At the time I arrive, it was a national holiday and i had no idea. Most of the stores, restaurants were close. I found this restaurant and they helped me to exchange money. There were no place to exchange around. IUnfortunately I haven’t eaten there but I think they serve halal food.

This is absolutely not the place where you can expect value for money. If you have 10 more minutes, try finding another Indian restaurant which is nearby. Even though thats not great but at least better than this.My experience at this restaurant:1. Courteous staff.2. Food arrived after longer time than expected.3. Quantity was so low that you need to order 2 sets of biryani for one person. Check the pics of bowls which I deliberately added.4. Biryani was full of spices (masala), you really need to ask them to customise per your taste.5. You better need to be as specific as how much temperature of drinking water you should be served. Room temperature means exactly room temperature for them irrespective of the fact that outside temperature is 4 degrees celsius.Finally I wont recommend unless you have no other choice.

It is advantageous server is very kind and nice, and that there is a seat in the form of an open door. Expertise and excellent service by a girl made the entire process comfortable and a pleasant service . 5 STARS to her. I highly recommend this restaurant. Profes India, and Nepal. It is a good place for both price, taste and quantity. Vegetable curry and mutton curry were both delicious and delicious, and even the two samosas were only 4,500 won, which was the most delicious samosa I have eaten.

Heaven for all the Indians staying in Seoul. The food here is just mouth watering. They have so many options to choose from. The staff is very polite and courteous specially Mr. Ratan. The prices are very reasonable. A must visit for any Indian whos looking for Veg/Non Veg Indian food in Seoul. What I also liked was that they have a TV which airs an Indian music channel which I couldnt find anywhere else in Seoul :)

The portions were generous (large quantity) and high quality so I took remaining to home They are not greedy to earn money (great with that price ).The staff are friendly and caring. Best Indian Ive had in Seoul. Most places are way too sweet, whereas Jyoti is just right. Good flavor, prices about standard, and the obligatory Bollywood videos on the TV were entertaining.

I love this restaurant! It has the tastiest curry than the other indian restaurant that i have visited so far. The curry has a strong taste and smell really nice and eating it with the nan make the taste even better. With the comfy atmosphere of the restaurant makes me enjoy spending time here...

Great place for Indian food! I went there on a Friday night and had the restaurant almost to myself! We ordered one of the meal sets, to my surprise it was the tomato soup that stood out the most. It was amazing. I would go back just for that soup and some chapati.

Our man Ganesh served awesome hot food.. It started with Chai and Pakoras.. We then had samosas and crispy chilly potatoes.. On mains we had chana Masala and garlic naan with papad. We ended with dal and jeera rice.. Its blessing to have Indian food in Korea.. You are true savior to all Indians.. I definitely recommend all our Indian friends to visit this..
