They have a great bakery & they always have fresh shrimp from the USA, plus their meats are at good prices & you earn perks to get % savings off your gas at getgo.

I usually shop Giant Eagle on Goucher Street. on a recent visit to this Giant Eagle I realized they have a bigger variety of products and really appreciate Somerset Trust banking & Ace Hardware available in store.

Great selection of fall plants for your porch... but the self check outs need improved... hard time trying to get the bar code to get scanned... but help did come !!

Prefer this Giant Eagle Location over the Ebensburg store. This store has a vast variety of food items, a more extensive selection of fresh seafood, and more fresh food items to choose, also much bigger frozen food section then Ive seen at other local stores. Even has an ACE HARDWARE located inside!

Love this Giant Eagle! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the prices of some items is outrageously high. Out of the 4 or 5 Giant Eagles in my area I highly recommend this one on Scalp Avenue above all the others!

I wouldve given 5⭐, but some prices were a lot higher than Walmart. Produce was really fresh though & the meat selection was amazing.

This big guy/manager came charging over to me to tell me I had to wear a mask. He ran so dang fast like there was a fire. I wasn’t gonna argue so I told him he needs to work out more and he wouldn’t lose his breath so easily 🙄Great fresh foods, lots to pick from, but the overall employees and staff are rude. They were rude before Covid.

The cashier and bagger were very friendly. However you should consider putting cart returns near the handicapped parking, several of us struggle to get in the store let alone put the cart back.

Clean and donuts on Fri are 1/2 off...they are solo good

Im a fan of this Giant Eagle. I shop here often. This particular trip we used the car side delivery option. The delivery person was pleasant and completed his job without issue. This is a clean location, and is usually pretty well stocked.

Only place that has clams & large selection of seafood. Really wish they would get live lobster tank back.

Love food just a little over priced

I absolutely love the Goucher Street store!! The employees are why I repeatedly return! I love tgey they know me by name and live all their personalities! Tgey may not have as much as the Richland/Scalp Avenue location, but if you would like to see an item become a regular product at the store all you have to do is take a picture and sku number and provide the information to one of the Managers such as Chuck or who ever is on duty! The pharmacy ladies are out of this world too! I absolutely love them all they always bend over backwards if I need something special or will contact my doctor if I forgot a renewal prescription. They are such a blessing. I know some may have different opinions but I just had to report just some of the things they will gladly do for you if you ask.

Was one place that I could count on that they have a must wear mask policy. Lately every time I go customers are not wearing mask. Guess I will shop somewhere else.

Always go there.....lots of space to stay 6 ft away from people.....and veg, food and grocery always good and fresh.....

I go here for 99% of my goods. They opened up an Ace Hardware inside the store which makes it even more of a one stop shop. They have very good prices and their Perks program (free to join) gives you points for purchase which can be used to get reduces price on gas at Getgo (which they have in the parking lot) or you can use your points to take some money off your total purchase at the register. I go here to get stuff for recipes I make at home, stuff for packing my kids lunches , wine, and occasional hardware from Ace.

I love Giant stores.

I didnt have as pleasant experience as usual. The cashier was rude and rather stand-offish. We are usually greeted and ask how our day is going. Also I have never had a cashier that hasnt at least smiled. This time different we didnt even get a half a smile.

Conveniently located Supermarket, with both a bank and an Aces Hardware Store inside this Giant Eagledefinitely makes this one of my top go-to places.They offer a wide variety of products to choose from,as well as ample parking spaces for customers.The lines are usually long, but the cashiers tend toget you checked out and on your way in acceptable time.

Always good seafood. Prices high but good store

This was the first time I was in this store since they renovated it. I found things a little strange. The alcohol is out in the open but you can only pay for it at the register near there and only during certain hours. I also thought it was strange that ACE hardware is now in a supermarket. It is also no separated by anything. You are shopping for yogurt and right beside you is rakes and paint. Service was good. No self checkouts.

I have a love hate relationship with Ge. But they are improving. Produce is better taken care of. And the cashiers are getting better. They used to ignore you and act like you were bothering them. The cashiers lately are very nice.

The store was very clean, shelves stocked well. I was able to find the items I was looking for. I noticed many sale items at reasonable prices.There were no checkout lanes open - only self-checkout. I will not use self checkout lanes.The checkout person(s) were very friendly and cheerful.It was a pleasure to shop at Giant Eagle today.

I do like this giant eagle... since they have remodeled their store,,, it is so much better.. I really enjoy the sales and their fruit is very very good and fresh... keep up the great work.... 😀

Shopped all the other grocery stores in the area and found that the giant eagle was by far the best. They are still in the middle with renovations. there produces are much better then the rest for every 50.00 you spend you get .10 off your next tank of gas. So if your going to home depot buy a gift card there and get more off your gas nice

I am always pleased with the quality and quantity of merchandise available. Checkout was fast and efficient. Store was clean and absent of unpleasant odors. The best store in the area. Certainly worth the 15 plus mile drive for me to shop there.

My go to supermarket. Great assortment of fresh meat. The bakery is really good come early for the donuts they are usually gone fast. My only negative is the price which can be high when compared to competitors. But it’s quieter and faster to get through.

Giant Eagle is a great store. Good quality but can be pricey at times. But, they definitely have a great variety in every department.

I would absolutely NOT recommend the dry cleaning sservice.I turned in 3 shirts to be starched and specifically requested heavy starch. When I ask for heavy starch, I expect it to feel like cardboard. Their wasnt even a crease in any of the sleeves. Why ask for what starch level the customer wants, if youre hardly going to use any starch?

This has to be the best Giant Eagle around the Johnstown area. This store contains anything and everything for your needs the fresh seafood department is Superior to any other in the area. You can find anything for whatever your needs may be. You never have to pick through the produce to find something that has not past its prime. Check out is quick and easy parking is not a hassle and there are many other shops in walking distance.

Love the new curbside pick up. Love the new update to the store and bringing in Ace hardware. Store is usually pretty well stocked.

While they are still under construction the store is starting to look more pulled together n modern. They have self checkouts now which is nice. Interested to see how it looks when its all finished

The newly remodeled Richland Giant eagle, is really nice, and has some good deals. Just have to get use to finding things again. The beer and wine is also nice to get in one store.

Beautiful market with an extensive line of services including a pharmacy, florist, greeting cards (best selection in the area), dry cleaners, bakery, deli and more. The store itself is immaculate. On the negative side, they are, generally, expensive. Their sales are very good but other products are high.

Good chicken and good price. For a party ready when promised and everyone enjoyed it.

Carts are new. Always plenty of checkouts available. Clean store and nice people. Parking is reasonable. They have the best deli and butcher shops. There an A+ store.

Newly remodeled. Great selection and sale prices can be really good. The bakery is really great for fresh baked bread of all types.
