The airport is quite small and its a domestic airport with only 1 terminal.No bus service... You have to walk to the plane to get boarded.Very much crowded having a quite small space sitting facilities are not good.Although the staff is good and respectful.The security is good.👍Visited pre covid.

Small airport. Too much rush. Jodhpur railway station might have lesser number of people. Colorful. Social distancing is a joke due to small size of the airport and high passenger traffic. Cafe rates are through the roof. Toilets are clean.

Best connectivity airport for rajasthan.... But you cannot expect it to be like other big airports.... Place is clean and secure

Sitting outside the airport from past 1 hour and another 1 hour to go this is not fair as when we see open timing of airport it shows 24 hours. Its fair to understand that customers are not just for the sake. Please understand its not safe either in such covid times where you ask people to sit on parking area and shades under tree on foothpath without any facilities of chair or safe sanitised place

Its has improved a lot and will hope for more required decisions to be implemented in near future for more easy services that can help everyone before and after journey.

This report is the third in a series of reports from my trip to India.I had arrived in DEL arriving on BA, and was now heading on a separate booking with Air India to Jodhpur. The full itinerary can be seen below:MAN-LHR BA1402LHR-DEL- BA257DEL-JOH - AI475JOH-DEL - AI476DEL-KUU - AI9805KUU-DEL- AI9806DEL-LHR - BA256LHR-MAN - BA1402As this was a separate booking we had collected our baggage and cleared through immigration to arrive land side. We now had to head back up to departures and check-in again. This proved a little more complicated than expected. The way from the ground floor arrivals to the 1st floor departures required a security check. The security guard wanted to look at our boarding cards - obviously we didnt yet have these as we hadnt yet checked-in. Instead we produced our booking confirmation, which was analysed very carefully by the guard. Strangely the the booking said only it was for 2 passengers and but was addressed to me. For my friend this required a little more persuasion as her name was not on it. Luckily she had copied the details into a printed out email with out hotel reservation with her name, this had nothing to do with the flight itself but seemed to satisfy the guard eventually. At the top of the escalator we arrived at another security guard check and had to go through the whole booking again and our suitcases were x-rayed before being allowed to pass.Eventually we were in the check-in hall,and headed to the Air India counter.After a little queuing we were checked-in by the friendly enough staff. We used the bureau de change to get our Rupees and headed towards departuresThe security scan was relatively painless, and my friend had to go through the typical female cubicle to have be scanned. We were greeted straight away with a WHSmith - had we even left the UK??Checking the departure board, our gate was already showing - 30B.We still had lots of time before the departure and headed to get some food from the food court on the upper level.I love India - I can have a cheeky McDonalds as there are plenty of vegetarian options in this country of millions of vegetarians where beef is banned and pork isnt served either. I chose a McSpicy Paneer a spicy burger made from indian cheese. The meal came to a total of 150R (about €2).The flight was now showing to be about 30 mins late, so we just hung around a bit. I tried to register for the free airport wifi which required a mobile number for the access code, which never came. After a while we headed towards the now open gate.Our boarding passes were scanned and we headed down the air bridge getting a look at our A319.We were welcomed on board by the crew and took our seats. I had managed to get a window seat in 12F.The aircraft interior was showing its age a bit but the seats had enough legroom for this 1:20 flight.The seat pocket contained the safety card, magazine and newspaper.We had to wait about 30 mins on the plane before departure so that in total were had about an hours delay.We were then off. Shortly after departure the meal service began, I was starving but it turns out it as worth it! We were given a meal consisting of a paneer curry and a curry containing potatoes and green beans served with rice. It was a little spicy but I loved it, I even ate the remains of my friends meal! There was also a little salad thing of cucumbers. The dessert was a warm cake type thing with custard which was also good. I was impressed.The view over Rajasthan was greatBut soon it was time to land. There was a good view of the city including the Fort and the PalaceThe airport looked like a military air base with only a little civilian terminal in one cornerWe were thanked for flying Air India on our way off the plane, at which point I said to the crew that I really enjoyed the food (it really was that good, possibly the best Ive had in economy)We walked over to the small terminal to collect our bagsBefore leaving the terminal where our hotel had arranged to pick us up

Though the airport was smaller, it was so neat unlike other airports in india. It was indeed very well organized. I loved my two hours of time at the airport. There are very good cafes and Vegan biscuit outlets which you can try out. The service experience was one of the best.

Nice small airport with minimal facilities. Not having much food options over here. One cake shop, some general samosa and sandwiches selling shop, some sweet shop and some over expensive maharaja style sherwani and maharani style necklace shops at airport which you definitely willnot buy 😜.

Small airport. Chaotic, particularly if Two flights are at about same time. Boarding gate area doesnt have the capacity for seating for flyers of two flights. Staffs are efficient though. Its quite scenic two and awe inspiring as its a defence airport too

The Indigo Staff was very polite and helping .Particularly the Girl Cristina Operating at Boarding pass counter was very helpful toguide things to the passangers...100 % To Her as well as the Indigo Crew.

It is the clean and good airport in India. It is the not largest but nice airport in Jodhpur. It is the oldest airport in Jodhpur.

Airport environment is user friendly.But a lot of crowd is there

Make sure the dont get the rickshaw outside the airport. They charge a lot. Try to book uber or ola. Its soo cheap. Place was well maintained. Airport is small seems the military airforce is also located next to it. Looks cool to see military aircraft around by.

Better than I expected it to be... with a few eateries, adequate seating, and a great elevation as you approach it. The maintenance also is much better than Jaipur airport (which is pathetic at it).The airline desks could be organized better though (queue formation, time taken to serve etc.).

The Sahar international airport is completely renovated and space has been managed very intelligently. There are several floors and each floor has a unique function. Parking facility is very big now so there is no congestion. Inside lot of small gardens and nice art are displayed. Really beautiful now! I look forward to come again.

Its a small airport with just 2 gates. Good service and easy connectivity. Security doesnt take too long, approximately 30 mins from start to end.

Very much organised and taking full precautions for safety of all passengers. Sanitise all the luggages at the entrance and very courteous staff . Though a small airport having only one Gate it has better facilities then other big Airports in a city.

Very small and crowded airport. But washrooms are well maintained and clean.Only 2 gates are there for departure. You can directly walk to your flight fir boarding, no bus or any other walk through required.

Secruity checkin management is bit not acceptable in such covid time, also the airport is defence based airport and should be extra secure but i didnt feel that. it okay type..Benefit is it is small aiport so you dont have to stand in long que for security check in..Personal tip:- pls be before time. I dont know but my flight was to be departured at 11:30 but it departured at 11:10 around.Dont know exact reason.

Unlike a state capital airport, its not upto mark and lacks standards.The approach road is not clearly marked and not clearly lined. Nor very impressive. A below average airport.i didnt like it . The approach road is through lanes for T1 and not clearly marked .

Great airport, all the basic public amenities were within reach. Restrooms were sanitized and safety protocols were followed seeing the covid impacts. Also theres a metro station near by, may be 1km or so.

Jodhpur airport is located at prime location and very close to the city. Premises is clean and hygiene. There are pre-paid taxi and auto rickshaw facilities available but pricing may be bit high due to union n all. Prefer OLA. For onwards journey, bus stand and nearby pickup point is within range of 10-15 km.

Jodhpur will always be my favourite place to visit. Dont forget to visit Chamunda Mata ji temple , its one hour in village called Chawanda. Do take blessings of Mataji. Rest perhaps only place in India where culture is still the same as it was in previous decades like hospitality services kind nature of people. Its just non comparable.

Its quick check in n out airport ...pretty small one on departure you willl get 4-5 shops to eat and small handicrafts items etc...sometime it jam pack on peak time of 12-2 pm when simultaneous flights are scheduled... sometime even you may not get seat also...come on time...check-in process is takes time and arrival is breeze if you dont have checking luggage you are out in straight 4-5 minutes ...outside you will get paid taxis and you can book uber or ola as well...if you want rickshaw you have to come outside of airport and may be walk towards the main road for 7-10 min n you will get rick also...

Its one of a small domestic airport in Rajasthan. While first time seeing its look like a Indian railway station. Cab service are available from here. There is no aero bridge in this airport. We have to walk or go by bus for entering the flight.

Very less flights due to being Defence Airport, still needful required services are available.

Airport is very small. No store to purchase any essential item. No lounge. Very less option to eat.Airport is clean and well maintained. Staff is good. Toilets are cleaned.Self bag check in functionality is not there.Very less flight flew from here.Need to improve by extending airport space, adding stores, lounge etc.

This is basically a military air base, during day time few passenger / cargo flights operates neat n clean , the staff and security gaurds are humble and polite one can enjoy snacks , bakery and drinks of their choice. No photography is allowed in this area.

Jodhpur airport is small because its military airport , drop and pick I paid them 40₹ . There isnt any official airport for them so.

The terminal is very very crowded. Half of the people are standing in the waiting area. The situation is similar to that of a railway station! I suppose 15 A.D bakery is the best place to eat here.

Good easy And speed departure

One of the most crowded and small airport I have been to. There’s no WIFI and sufficient seats. Staff is friendly but experience gets awful if the flights delayed. I would recommend not to do your security check if flight is delayed. It’s hard to get a seat and people are all around. It’s just one gate on ground floor with not sufficient good and drinks options.

This is an military airport, so it has extra security than other airports. It is not a big airport, personally I think its better as security checking are much faster than usual. There is only one bakery and a normal shop after checking in.

The city was located on the strategic road linking Delhi to Gujarat. This enabled it to profit from a flourishing trade in opium, copper, silk, sandalwood, dates and other tradeable goods

It definitely needs it expand as it is a very small as compared to other ones with a low Air Traffic. Direct flights connecting major cities are quite not available many of the times.

The system and arrangement is not upto the mark, including the long wait time and lack of transport services till the aircraft.Moreover, 3 stars because it is a small airport and I dont blame the system for that.But take into consideration that the flow of people is increasing day by day here and requires more space.
