The architecture of temple is very unique and beautiful.What makes it one of the most beautiful places to see in jodhpur is the marvelling beauty and attractive architecture. The temple is flocked by tourists and locals in mornings and evenings to seek blessings and offer prayers.

Temple is located in Maha Mandir area.Temple dedicated to Rajguru Shri Jalandhar nath ji . Temple is historical palace very architectural and beautiful nice painting work on wall and roof.Reached by Auto only due to narrow roads.

The temple having 84 beautifully crafted and well formed pillars and wall are engraved with beautiful designs of yoga and folk characters from Hindu history. A best place to visit, thats to in city limits. Although a government school is running in part of it.

Jalandhar nath ji tample is a historical palce in mahamandir. Its situated in old area so roads are very nerow. But architect is very beautiful.

Average Time To Explore: 30 minutes. This is inside residential area with very narrow roads, so it is very difficult to reach near the temple by car. You need to walk approx 200 meters to reach the temple. Old ruins ... Average traveller can skip this. It is said that when Maharaja Vijay Singh Ji of Jodhpur died in his place, his grandfather Bhim Singh sat on the throne and in order to secure his throne, he started killing all the potential claimants of the throne.If you ask for the address of Mahamandir in Jodhpur, any resident who lives in Jodhpur will tell you, but when you ask him about the temple, he will start scavenging his head. It is a big irony that some ancient places of every city The nearby settlement becomes so famous from that place that the original place goes to the place and only a few days old people know it. Even when I was a resident of Jodhpur, when I went to see him, I had to sweat too. There are also many historical places in Jodhpur which have been forgotten over time.It is said that when Maharaja Vijay Singh Ji of Jodhpur died in his place, his grandson Bhim Singh sat on the throne and in order to secure his throne, he started killing all the potential claimants of the throne. Mann Singh, the other grandson of Vijay Singh, escaped to Jalore fort and saved his life and took possession of Jalore and declared himself the ruler of Marwar. Bhim Singh sent his commander, Anuraj Singhvi to encircle the fort, and after seeing that he did not succeed, he sent Indraj Singhvi as the commander in place of him. Bhim Singhs army has been encircling the army around the fort for ten years continuously. It is said that when the man finally thought of abandoning the fort after seeing no way of avoiding the army, then Yogi of Jalandhar Nath Peeth, Aas Devnath, Defense sent to the four to five days and stops will become Marwar ruler | Man Singh Ji opposed Aas Devnath and resisted the army of Bhima Singh for four days. Four days later, on October 21, 1803, Bhim Singh died and Senapati Indraj Singhvi Man Singh brought Sohan Samman to Jodhpur and declared him the Maharaja of Marwar. Grateful Maharaja Man Singh Ji expressed his reverence, a grand and huge temple was built for his Guru Aas Devnath, a little ahead from the Medtie door, which was called the Mahamandir because of its grandeur.Construction of this temple started on 9 April 1804 and completed on 4th February 1805. The construction of this was 10 lakh rupees. The temple complex was constructed four and the ramparts and four huge gates which gave it the shape of a fort. The main temple, two palaces and one baadi and a pond monsoon and the crematorium of the Nath Yogis has been built between the premises. A huge artillery has been built around the main temple, which has a beautiful work of carvings on its dome and all three inside the main entrance. The vendors have been built on the side. In front of the main temple there is a beautiful marble entrance door which takes you to the temple. The temple is built on a high choki, on which a huge dome and a womb house have been built, 84 pillars have been constructed to give support to it under the domes all around the womb, which has very beautiful artwork. The statue of Jalandhar Nath ji has been kept on the sahasan from the beautiful of the marble on the Choki inside the womb. Around this, the work has been done on the wall with surprising engagement of gold water, and the wonderful pictures of the Yoga of the famous Nath sect have been engraved on the wall. The work of silver has been done inside the dome. Even outside the womb, artistic murals have been constructed on the walls, whose beauty is still intact after the passage of the Sadia. Two palaces were constructed in the temple premises, one of which Nath Maharaj lived in himself and the second Nath Yogi was built for the residence of the divine souls, in which there is still a magnificent furnished bed kept about The switch to the Nath called the Souls rest yogis |
