The hotel is very nice the only problem is it is very inside and cars Cannot come inside only auto and bike are suitable here

We stayed here for a couple nights during Holi and had a blast! Its probably my favorite hotel so far in India! The hotel is a gorgeous old building tucked back in a narrow alley off one of the main streets in the area near the fort. Really cool architecture and decorations inside, and the rooftop cafe/restaurant has a stunning view of the fort and the surrounding city. Super friendly staff too!

Love staying here. Very comfy. Rooftop restaurant serves good food but service can be slow. But staff are super helpful and friendly.

This is a superb location especially if you like taking pictures and an adventurer by heart. It’s in the heart of the Blue City and very interesting neighborhood. The Access can be a little tough but it’s worth the effort. The dish is exceptional and affordable.

Such a mervellous place

Not recommended except for the exceptional view on the castle, where I saw a great sunrise. My room was just dirty. It was the first accomodation in 3 weeks where I used my own bed linen instead of the tea-towel-like sheets that were offered. This hotel is more or less like a boutique hotel with many culturally authentic objects hanging on walls and being placed on shelfs (also in the rooms). Because of the (formerly) white-washed walls and all the intricate forms, it is very difficult to keep clean anyway. Dust and dirt was on almost all horizontal surfaces in the room. But also I found waste from previous guests. When you shower, anyone with a good pair of binoculars can partly see you from outside, through the bathroom window. Restaurant was with old furniture and not really clean as well. To reach this facility you have to climb several dirty alleyways. Inside steep stairways too.The whole thing reminded me more of youth hostels in the 80s then of a hotel. After 1 night I have quit this place where I had a reservation for 3 nights. I should give them some credit for not insisting on having to pay 3 nights (they just charged one night), and for being friendly.

Amazing place, especially the view from the restaurant in the terrace overlooking the fort. Reaching the place is tough but so is every haveli at Old Town. Didnt have any problem with the service. Will choose the same place if I visit Old Town again.

An old house converted into a hotel. The hotel has different rooms which still maintains old architecture. The food from the restaurant is good and has a superb view of mahargargh fort

Its a good place to sit and relax. Terrace view is great, looking into the fort during evening time. Restaurant can be better . Entrance to the hotel is bit scary, dirty . Rooms are perfectly mood setting. Value for money.

A good 3 floor vintage home turned into a hotel, has got good vintage feel. Did a fantastic job in interiors.The entry is quite tough where a small uphill to be climbed. Never take car to reach, only autos can go to some extent though (Ajay Devgans Badshaho was shot here).The restaurant is lil slow in serving, but the taste is good.

Have to park the car a bit far from there and take an auto. But once you reach there, you are ready to dive in to real Jodhpur. Its an experience of a kind. The view and food are awesome. Ill recommend at least a day stay.

What a view of the Mehrangarh fort, especially at night! Its worth staying at Castle View for the view of the fort alone. The crew were very good and helpful. We received all the tips for places to eat and to shop from, from them. Our room was decent, albeit not properly planned, and had a beautiful view of the castle from the windows. Just outside was an open terrace and a rooftop restaurant on top. One word of caution, the entrance and stairs inside are very narrow and extremely steep. So this place is a strict no-no for people with knee/hip pain. One negative which essentially makes it a 9/10 is that the approach road is very narrow, steep, unclean and smelly.

We had a very comfortable stay at castle view. The staff are very friendly and helpful with our requests during our stay. The interior decorations in traditional Rajasthani style with beautiful artwork, decorations will make you feel to stay just inside the cozy room for hours. The balcony in the room added an extra edge.The view from the rooftop restaurant towards Jodhpur Mehrangarh Fort and blue city is fantastic. Jodhpur has a lot of amazing options to stay, we picked castle view and we are extremely happy about that. Hard to find out.. the entrance was full of garbage.. hotel room is small but well decorated.. room service is very poor..theyll not provide water to room.. restaurants food is not good but youll get nice view of Mehrangarh fort..

I intended to stay for a few nights, but had to leave after the first night. The bathroom smelled like sewage, and I had to keep the door to it closed in order to sleep at all. I brushed my teeth with the tap water (I know, youre not supposed to do that in India), and 2 days later had travellers sickness. I have now been back home for 5 weeks, and was today diagnosed with the Giardia Lamblia parasite. I am certain I ingested it at this hotel. If you stay here, be prepared for a low budget stay, and please follow proper water ingestion practice! Perhaps also eat elsewhere? Enjoy the view, though, the terrace view was stunning! Bed coverings did not seem particularly clean. Beds are lumpy, some budget rooms are like monk cells...

Room service is not there and the place is very very far away from the main city and is in a very narrow and dirty sloped up lane.Although beautiful rooms with rooftop restro-bar designed in aesthetic manner and it faces the Mehrangarh fort.

Nice place, friendly owner, nice view from the cafe, will maintained rooms and restrooms. The restaurant does not accept the card , that is one major drawback. This place is located in blue city next to the fort, but the narrow roads make this place very very difficult to be accessable by bike,and impossible by car.Bright side is the view of the fort is really good.

Homestay away from home.Its good for tourist who want to experience life in rajasthani home.It has all amenities and a traditional look and feel to everything.Its situated in a narrow street area where autos charge you triple the fare to get out of there.Coming back is easy and cheap hardly 30rs in 4km area.

Best price/quality weve found in our India trip. Views and terrace were spectacular, Id recommend it 100%.

One of the best places to stay while in Jhodpur. Situated in old city, right in the shadow of Mahrangarh Fort. Services are great and most importantly pretty light on pocket. Backpacker? Go for it.

Although the entrance will put you to think whether its a right move to book this homestay but let me assure you the view of Mehrangarh fort and old Jodhpur is best from Balcony room and rooftop restaurant. Food choice is not that much but tastes good.Up a little alley it’s got great views from the terrace of the fort.Rooms all different styles and clean.The rooms are spacious, clean, well maintained with attached washrooms. I would recommend this place as the fort is just a few minutes walk away

Beautiful place to stay with family and friends with reasonable price. The view from the hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are really cute and the interior is wonderful. The best in Jodhpur I can say. You feel like you are in Rajasthan the moment you enter the hotel. The food is ok ok. Eat only the Thalis, they are tasty than any rice item. I will definitely stay in this hotel if I visit Jodhpur again. I recommend all of you to book this hotel if you are ever going to Jodhpur.

One of the best places (out of ten) we stayed in India. Very charming decore of the rooms and comunal spaces. Great view from the terrace. Nice part of Jodhpur in the center of the blue part of city. Close to the pedestrian entrance to the fort. Nice owner and staff. Highly recommended!

I have a breakfast here and I’m so dissapointed. I ordered set of omelette buta the takes almost 40 minutes for my order to come. The taste was just ordinary fried egg and the price is expensive for just an omelette with a pair of dried bread. The positive point is this cafe has a nice view.

Beautiful, but cold showers and stuff people treated as slaves from the owner, who could only sit, eat and talk while giving orders.We told him about the cold showers and he answered that we were not able to use it. He is the only problem of this hotel.
