Cenotaph of Maharaja Ajit Singh is the most impressive dewal with beautiful carvings, that resembles a temple.When Ajit Singh passed away, his wives & concubines (around 64) committed Sati in 1724.Built in 1736-99, it stands out as an architectural wonder with its three-storeyed spires surrounded by columns & balconies.It also has a pillared & domed forechamber.The walls & pillars are decked up with beautiful carvings of Buddhist & Jain elements.

In the Janana Mahal located in the garden, at present, the Archaeological Department of Rajasthan has maintained a beautiful museum, displaying stone sculptures, inscriptions, paintings and a variety of artistic materials. The Janana Mahal was built during the reign of Maharaja Ajit Singh (1707–1724 AD), which is a unique piece of architecturally. An artistic gate at the entrance of Janna Mahal has been constructed by removing jharokhas. This building was constructed to relieve the women of the royal family from the extreme heat falling in Rajasthan. Fountains were also installed in its premises.
