I met a salesperson (a man). He was funny! and we had a good talk. I had a good experience here. I and my friend got 2 printed shirt here.However... keep in your mind that if you dont to buy anything, just deny gently and walk away. :)

Do not enter this place ! I repeat. Do not enter this place. Tourists (like us) scam. Very pushy people, do not stop talking and presenting you stuff although you ask many times not to. Also tried to put an additionnal item in our bag.. not charmed at all. I suggest you visit the flee market / bazaar right down at the clock tower... youll find same stuff for much, much cheaper price!

A scam (they have several other stores such as Maharani Textiles and Handicrafts) where they purport to supply major fashion labels and are willing to sell to us at a fraction of the international selling price.We compared prices with other stores (such as Ganesh Handicrafts) and realised that we had been charged exorbitant prices.Do not support! They will ask for two minutes of your time and bring out a lot of items that they sell to Hermés etc . They will also bring out items that villagers crafted, but who knows if the villagers receive a fair price for their hard work.

My friend and I were visiting from Canada and at first we were just looking around. The owner of the place is a great seller because he gave us the most delicious tea and sat us down to display the textiles he had. He was a little pushy with his sell so he could probably chill a bit but I am so happy with my wall hanging. Its the orange embroidered one with little tiny mirrors sewn in. The mirrors catch the light making my wall shimmer and my guests always ask about it.

Scammers. Walk into the store and ask for anything, you will be steered into a room where they tell you a fantastic BS story. How they have textiles that they make for Hermes, Armani, etc... Show you a clipout from a magazine that every other shop in town also uses. How they have a few overruns and will sell them to you for a fraction of the price that their name brands sell them at. Here are some facts:1) Big brands destroy overruns and products they dont sell and absolutely never let the suppliers sell them on the side.2) If you still arent convinced, simply walk down to Ganesh Handicrafts further south where they tell you the truth. And here they will sell you the exact same purple Hermes textile for 1/4 of the price of what Om Ganesh sells them for.

Amazing stuff but owner rudely ushered us downstairs and out when I admitted I couldn’t afford his price. Selling a dress for 1500INR that could be purchased for 500 elsewhere, it was all lovely stuff but be careful of being ripped off. I didn’t even bother bargaining with him.

For anybody visiting the main city it is definitely a to go place and not to be missed onbeautiful fabrics, handicrafts- some very rare to be seenIncomparable pricesVery warm and friendly staffAnd a unique experience to top it off!!

Went in to buy shirts, was led upstairs and sold on blankets for 10 minutes that were overpriced. This is a related company of Maharani Textiles & Handicrafts. Avoid both this and the Maharani Textiles & Handicrafts.
