Nice peaceful garden but government removed animals (Zoo) from the Umed Garden and shifted to Machiya park. In the center of the garden there is SARDAR GOVT. MUSEUM which is very nice and less crowded.

This is a garden, with a amazing museum and friendly coworker to show all significance of the materials, history of them etc, many things will make you awe. This place is full of historical stuff, this place is a must visit.

If you visit umed garden make sure to check out Sardar Govt museum situated at Umed Garden having interesting historical artifacts.

Umed Garden is Located in Sri Ganganagar, High court Road Jodhpur Rajasthan India. Garden is under progress very specific area are development. Sardar Government Museum situated is here. This Garden was built by Maharaja Umed Singh. Umed Garden is one of the largest Gardens in Rajasthan and favourite place of visitors to this part of the country.

Please dont make a mistake by thinking it is a part of Umed Palace. Its actually a public park n there is no zoo as mentioned on google maps. But it has a very beautiful museum, which is worth seeing.

The park used to be so shabby and so unorganised but now it looks so beautiful! Today i went there and pots of things have changed! New footpaths,better roads, better plants, and also they have added a section for kids with swings! I am so happy!

It used to be a place to be there, not any longer. No wild life, Walk-In-Every is not there any more. Flat concrete-garden mix. It is devoid of its historical sheen.

This is one of the few place in Jodhpur, you must visit. Umed Garden can be reached either from Jodhpur Railway Station or from Raika Bagh palace. The distance is approximately same from both the place. There are various avenues of transportation to reach this place. Located in the vicinity of army area. Umed Garden includes both a hotel where you can stay and kings palace. Only the later is open to the public. Entry fee is ₹30 for Indians. Umed palace is named after the kings name. The normal public can access a variety of counters which depicts various paintings, images of ancestors of the king and queen, arms and ammunition, various aircrafts etc. It also has a display center where you will find various model of royal cars. In short the umed palace basically shows off the lifestyle of then kings and queen and how they used to indulge in various social services.

Nice and quiet place, Garden is averagely maintained. No flowers but its green. Crowd is mainly old people and children. Some areas are not really lit and lonely, so may not be safe after 6pm.
