If you wanna get a heritage feel and looking for some relax time and not concerned about price. Then this is definitely it.Supportive staff and amenities are definitely a flex.I still gave it 4 starts because there are some areas have a scope of improvement to achieve the 5 star standards but otherwise. Would love to go there again. ❤

One of the best experiences of mine in Rajasthan so far...the property itself is worth a tourist spot! Only thing about the bathrooms is the adequate drainage system in which it is lacking behind. And if youre a vegetarian, make sure to burn your pockets a pretty on the higher side

The resort is located outside of the city and is sufficiently big property with the big area where horse riding lessons are provided.Rooms are good and neatly assembled. The electrician on duty is prompt and ready to help. Food taste is good with sufficient varities . Also the pool is decently sized and is fun to be in.Shortcomings : The staff in the restaurant are not behaved. Level of service is not same for every one but is based on where you are sitting in restaurant.Pool was not clean at around 10 AM in the morning. Although it may be attributed to the fact that there was party late at night at pool and in the morning the cleaning was in progress.Verdict : If I get chance to stay again in this place then I wont mind. My room with bathtub ( yes, they have bathtub room also which gives staying experience all the much better) was decent, food taste was good and pool was cheery on the cake. If they improve on staff quality they may reach the level of 5 stars.

Also the pool is decently sized and is fun to be in.My Suite room was with bathtub which gives staying experience all the much better experience, food taste was good and pool was cheery on the cake.Area of disappointment: Check in was slow, kitchen closes too early 10PM., We had two rooms, there was slight smell of moisture in second room (not expected and uneasy).

Rooms are spacious but amenities are poor,. The toilets are useless. Air conditioners are difficult to operate. Room lights are poor. You will get things like hygiene items only on demand. Even drinking water bottles are not kept adequately. They just keep 1/2 Ltr per person. The laundry services are very very poor. Food is manageable. It looks very beautiful from outside but nothing better inside. Poorly ventilated. No balcony also.

Its a peaceful stay. Due to corona restrictions Swimming pool, spa and gym were closed. Had a close feel of peacocks. Seeing horses from our rooms was awesome. Wish to have a little better palate served. Polite staff. Contact directly for offers.

This place is really beautiful. The rooms are clean and really good. It has an amazing swimming pool 🏊‍♀️ (Especially if you go in the evening). The place is very well maintained. However, the food could have been better -Taste wise as well as Options wise. Would have loved to have some of the authentic Rajasthani food :)

Mr. Nagendra at check in desk was highly unprofessional and was not even able to communicate properly about food charges and room availability. They claim to be a heritage hotel but give service as compared to a cheap guest house only . I called duty manager but no one was available to address our problem. I would recommend not to spend a single penny on this hotel ever. Mr Pankaj is nowhere to be the Manager he deals with the guests in such a unprofessional manner.

Went for a full day and while the ambience was lovely, the quality of the services provided was absolutely terrible. We had informed the staff for a pool party beforehand but the pool was very dirty - the water visibility was zero and smelling bad.Even after placing an order a day before for a party of 25 - the person in charge failed to inform us that the portions were awfully little and wouldn’t be enough for 25 and even the food quality was not upto the standards of a hotel of such calibre.Very poor experience, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Wow!! is the word for the property. So beautiful, serene, peaceful, calm, neat, lush green. We stayed there from 10-12 Sep 2021. The property was well occupied yet social distancing was there due to the huge campus. All the gardens were lush green. Horse riding, peacock dancing, was an added view. We liked the property so much that we hardly went to see jodhpur much and decided to relax and enjoy the huge campus in itself. We were 2 families with 2 kids and had a gala family time.Pool yes was green but then water was clean and worth swimming. The rooms were neat , clean and spacious.And yes even the food was great as our package had all 3 meals included thua we enjoyed the lavish buffet spread.The management for kind, courteous and cooperative as well.For the price the hotel is offering these days its a steal deal and a must stay place.. highly recommended.We went through varsha wander wing holidays.Keep up the spirit team ummed palace...RegardsDr Anirudh chauhan

I went there in February. I guess there was no manager at that time. I mean no one hears you out. The members on the reception behave unprofessional, even the female staff. Only the name and the property is big, the behaviour of the staff was rude and not helpful at all.

I want to inform all the guests approaching the false promises the hotel makes, as we booked our dates on 11 check in -12th checkout.we enquired all the hotels of jodhpur about the operational facility of pool only this hotel was claiming that they were operational but as there was doubt about that, it turned out the pool was operational but the pool was full of algae (Kaai), the pool had blue tiles over that it had clear layer of proper algae and it was looking you would catch infection on dipping in that pool.As per their chief engg. & general manager it was operational and swimmable.. but the reality was different, we were scammed by this hotel group u[on confronting they were just apologetic and claiming the pool is operation but algae is something no body wants to swim in..really disappointed.

Place is magnificent, but the service is below par. Rooms are not clean, including bathroom which has leaky taps. The place is quite far from the city so be prepared to travel 30mins everytime you want to visit the city.The matress they have is quite uncomfortable and you may feel stressed after waking up.

Rooms are very average for the price they charge. During my first day 17.07.2021 we ordered lunch at 1.30 and it was delivered at 2.45 PM after nearly 6 reminders. Whatever we asked from the menu they said we dont have today and the same continued for next day also. The pathetic service continued till the day we left 19.07.2021. Overall this was the worst hotel stay I ever had till date. The service and hospitality is a big zero and a joke. Try this hotel at your own risk.

The property is beautiful...the building, ambience, lawns, decor, everything is fabulous. Downsides as per my experience :- food - taste and preperation is below average...the rates are not at all commensurate to the quality , administrative services are barely acceptable...STB never got working, I had to go stand at the reception to ensure a couple of the services lacking in the room ..Really!!! Its best to stay and enjoy the ambience...eat outside, anywhere.

Overall all ok, but in morning showers time you cant take hot water due geezer capacity not enough, also 20 rs mrp kinlay water bottle sold you in 6 time high ,means you pay 123 rs against of 20 rs water bottle.

Nice place to stay. Food was good, but disappointed with the options available in breakfast. I was in Rajasthan to expolore it, why we have south india or continanal instead of something which promote rajasthani taste. This is just suggestion.But, overall GOOD.

The hotel property is really good and well maintained. Lush green ambience will definitely attract you. Only con being it is little far away from the centre of city, so you better have your own conveyance for travelling. Room was spacious and well cleaned. Though we felt lighting could be improved . The major disappointment was the food. One the options for food are very limited and with those limited options the food quality /taste is not up to the mark. Staff was courteous and helpful, but that cant help in improving the food quality. Management needs to seriously work on food quality and bringing down service time. It took around 30 minutes to receive our morning tea. This much time is too much for preparing a tea.

We had mixed experience while our stay, when you look at the hotel/resort you find it beautiful, but there are some details that needs more attention:Pros: 1. the ambience and the view and surrounding is beautiful, it has gardens and ample of greenery around.2.the food tastes amazing specially ala carte menu and the quantity is sufficient for two of any vegetable/gravy/dal3. breakfast buffet has variety4. the staff is welcoming and helpful specially Krishna at the restaurant and Ritu in housekeeping5. the rooms are spacious with huge windows for natural lightCons: 1. they turn off the lighting in garden very early like around 10:30/11 at night, so the whole hotel except the reception and lobby will go dark.2. the food is quite expensive, also the restaurant closes completely by 10:30 nothing will be available until morning3. breakfast options are almost same every day very little change4. the desk numbers are confusing things that are usually provided by housekeeping or room service, they will ask to call the front desk and vice-versa5.the room lacks some amenities like the refrigerator was empty, there was no spoons only stirer, the washroom only has bathtub which might not be comfortable for everyone as it gets slippery also there is no outlet for water apart from the washbasin and that of the bathtub

For the price bracket this hotel charges you, it is a steal deal. Spread across a huge area the rooms are lavish and coupled with courteous and extremely sophisticated staff it is a place to be. There is horse riding for the kids and a host of games to keep the kids interested. The swimming pool is well maintained and so is the property. Do stay at this place if you ever visit jodhpur.The only downside to this place is that since it is on the outskirts of the city, connectivity becomes an issue sometimes. Would advice anybody visiting to hire a cab or a rental for ease of moving around

The resort is just awesome. The ambience is really great and the place is relaxing. The food is not that good hence a 4 star rating rest everything seemed good. One more problem with this place is its too far from the city center and all visiting places. They do provide cabs/auto but they charge more than double to drop you anywhere.

You will be surprised to see how quite can a place be in midst of such a chaotic place. The hotel is grand and so calm at the same time, it makes you feel like you want to stay here forever. Mornings are beautiful with horses around the property and lush green fields all around. The rooms were cozy and food was tasty with raw feeling of bar with great drink to be offered. This place itself is an experience would love to visit again.

Property is not maintained properly, below average breakfast and dinner buffet. Locks and other things in property don’t work properly. I had to wait 40 mins to lock my room, as lock was not functioning properly, and no one from reception came even after multiple calls. Don’t waste money on it.

I would have rated this place a 5 had it not been for the lapse in safety standards (covid) at the buffet breakfast. Apart from that we loved the hotel. Nice spacious rooms, lots of open spaces with loads of animals and birds paying us a visit. Have to say that the housekeeping staff have an eye for detail. They noticed we consumed a lot of water and kept additional bottles without us asking. Same with the creamers, bathmat and disposable bags. We expected the food to be mediocre esp. continental food but were pleasantly surprised to find the food really palatable. We wanted a chicken soup for our toddler and although it was not on the menu, they accommodated our request.

We stayed at this property for 5 days during a getaway trip. Since were traveling during the pandemic in April 2021 we were not expecting much from sightseeing perspective in the city, so really wanted a good place. While initially we ran into some hiccups, the staff at the hotel made the overall stay memorable. Hospitality was amazing and they made every possible effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The property is spread over about 75 acres of land and has some amazing gardens is you love to walk barefooted on green grass. If something isnt working or is not up to your taste, the team is open to feedback and would make the necessary changes to suit your taste. We moved to Hotel HariMahal Taj Jodhpur after staying at Ummed for a change, but truly missed the place. All thumbs up for the Hotel and its team. Thank you!

The place is huge and the staff is helpful.. rooms were decent and didn’t have any issues.. but the issue is bcoz the place is massive it feels empty and needs a lot more people to make it feel lively but I guess the city itself doesn’t get a lot of visitors or perhaps COVID has messed up their business.. if it was in Jaipur, I am certain they would have been charging a lot more money for stay..

My brief stay here was very pleasant. The property is well maintained and the horses that roam freely around the property are majestic. Something that highlighted my stay here was the amazing dinner where we served one of the best tandoori chicken and lal mass Ive had in a long time.

Good experience with the view and arrangements for candle light dinner. We ordered honey chilly potato that wasnt cooked well but other dishes were really luscious.

Its really disastrous to imagine such kind of hotels can also serve this kind of pathetic service.I was expecting a five star hotel to have decent services and amenities but it lacked the services of even a 2 star hotel. We entered the hotel and the property looked beautiful but that was the high point of my visit, all was downhill from there. There was no bellboy or valet to pickup the luggage, we are given wrong directions and were told to take the stairs with the luggage even though the elevator was working. Inside the room, the table was dirty, toilet seat was broken, and there were zero amenities inside. I called the reception but no body picked up the phone. I went downstairs and asked for few glasses and ice but were told that there is charge of 250 for 2 glasses. They made us wait 45 minutes just so can talk to the manager, still he didnt come. We left the hotel without our stay and asked to cancel the room, which they denied at the moment but later assured us to cancel but now its been 1month and still we havent got our refund. According to them its ibibos responsibility and not theres.I sincerely advice everyone not to visit The Ummed Jodhpur and ibibo as well.

Hotel needs renovation.. so called 5star it is.. water tape was not working properly, Jat spray was leaking, mattresses was broken.. no valet parking they provides.. highly disappointed with our 2 nights of stays 😔😔

We actually booked Marwar Super Deluxe Room, but since due to Covid-19 there occupancy was low, our room was upgraded to Royal Suite along with our meal plan up-gradation from CP to MAP since the rates at which we booked long back were much higher as compared to the prevailing rates and thus the management was kind enough to upgrade the room as well as room plan considering that. I mean this is really kind and considerate on their behalf. They could have ignored the request but they chose not to as they believe in delighting their customer and not just satisfying themThe best hospitality I have ever experienced so far from any hotel was in ITC Rajputana, Jaipur. Honestly, The Ummed, Jodhpur has made its way right after that. Amazing hospitality, extremely courteous staff, humble management, considerate and kind enough (example given in my above point), open to feedback and not just listen to feedback but immediately act on it (example in the next point), and always at your service. I mean literally, there was an issue we were facing with television at midnight and as I called the front desk regarding the same it was attended to immediately. Special mention to Mr. Pankaj Tiwari here who was always there to help us and solve any problem or issue we faced. We did face some challenges honestly, as due to COVID-19 few facilities were not available, staff was less but the way Mr. Pankaj handled everything is really commendableSpread in 75 acres The Ummed, Jodhpur is one of the best in Jodhpur. Multiple and massive lush green gardens are amazing for a bare-footed walk early mornings or in the evenings. They have an in-house Gaushala and a forest area where you can spot a lot of peacocks and birds. They do have a huge track for those long walks/jog or run. They also have a gym and swimming pool but because of COVID-19 measures, those were shut, and thus we didnt use themIt is located quite far away from the city. If you need to commute daily to the city, you will find it difficult as cabs are not available easily. You will have to keep trying for 40-45 minutes before you get a cab and even while going from the city to the hotel not many cab drivers agree to go there as they dont get rides easily in return. So, from it to the hotel, if you are in a hurry you might have to pay more or wait for a while till you get a decent driver who is ready to go there. However, since we were there to unwind and relax, we just went out of the hotel for sightseeing one day (You can do the entire Jodhpur sightseeing in one day, excluding the Osian desert). So, in that case, the location factor did not bother us as for one day we went out, we kept this factor into consideration and hired the cab for the whole day in advance. Also, such a huge property is difficult to find in mid of the city. So for us, the trade-off was worthyDont compare it with a 5-star spread but for a 4-star hotel, the spread was decent. Not amazing to be honest but not dis-satisfying too. The taste was okay. The staff was very polite and very accommodating. They will see to it that if something has got cold, they will immediately change it and get a fresh one for you. In terms of ala-carte orders for meals or snacks, honestly, we were very disappointed on the first day as the food was really really bad. We did share the feedback with the room service team. The feedback was listened to and the food from the next day onwards was decent. Special mention to Ms. Shubadra here who personally catered to our orders explained to the Chef how we would like to have our food prepared, got the items made fresh, and made sure that the food was as per our taste. Definitely, there is a lot of scope of improvement in the food department in terms of breakfast spread, menu items, taste, portion, prices, etc.Make your decision on the basis of the objective and purpose of your visit. If you are there to relax and unwind, visit The Ummed, enjoy the property and I am sure you will love it.

We had planned the vacation for 3nights udaipur and 2 nights Jodhpur. After our wonderful stay in Udaipur we came to Jodhpur.We booked this property 25days prior through luxury escapes. As the photos showed it had a pool,spa and well lighted property but when we called them to enquire the same they told because of covid,pool and spa is not working.But when we enquired in other hotels about the same ,there were no such guidelines and then they told pool was closed because of maintenance and for spa they had no staff.On reaching there,we found the property very boring and it was very dark as lights were not lit properly.The food they offered was pathetic. They were charging 100 rs water bottle ,100 rs for soda and 150 for tonic water in the bar.The staff was untrained with no one wearing mask especially during room service.They had mentioned that they are giving king size bed but actually it was queen size bed.They claim that they are 5 star property, most of the channels were not subscribed and the ones which were subscribed they were not working properly.There were frequent power failure.We found the hotel so bad that we checked out one night prior.Do not fall for pictures as they are false.And also do not fall for any deals especially through luxury escapes.

Extremely slow service at Dinner, when waiter serve dinner it wasnt hot...1 he serve veg. & 10 mins later he serve chapati, I confused I eat or not everything was cold, every service takes more then 10 mins, Extremely Rubbish hotel, pls dont go there, its very irritating to me and my family..

Bad costumer service, it is supposed to be a 5 stars hotel but we were kicked out of the restaurant because it wasn’t diner time, it doesn’t have continental food, no sanitization procedures.We had problems as foreign with the staff because we were treated differently from the nationals most of the crew working here doesn’t speak English even the receptionist couldn’t communicate with us properly.The only good thing here was the chef who helped us cooking something different from the menu but still everything we payed more than 4,000Rs for a dinner here.This place doesn’t worth the money, don’t spend your money here is a total waste.

Decent stay but food isnt great. There were basic things missing in the room like an iron, working kettle. Service was fast but the food prices are on the plus side. Overall an ok stay.
