Amazing paragliding Experience, Samarth being a good pilot and pretty good at his skills. I felt so safe with my pilot. A must Try experience. They are avilable in Jodhpur (all day) and Rajsamand (weekends only).

Tripadvisor guided us to this venture but we were not sure if we would be able to complete it as my wife had acrophobia. But after seeing the picture of an old lady doing the same here we decided to give this adventure a try! Thats how we contacted Mr. Samarth, i must say he is a deadly combination of friendly behaviour as well as professional attitude. He guided us through phone conversations and clearly mentioned every minute things about the trip and we were developed some bit of trust in this upcoming journey. We visited this place in september and the location was amazing, it felt like we are floating above a place which is not Rajasthan. The guide guided us with all the needed instructions, we were accompanied with two additional staffs who were also very friendly to us. The view from above was awesome and the ride strongly sticked to safety measures. The entire journey is being recorded on gopro action cam ( though the choice of opting this facility is completely voluntary as an additional charge of 500 per head is attributed to this).To sum up i would suggest do visit this place during sep-oct , its worth your money in terms of ride and in terms of hospitality!

Based on the internet reviews I had decided to undertake paragliding with skyventures at jodhpur. Mr Samarth provided a seamless and wonderful customer support with his constant whatsapp instructions about what was to be expected, what to carry etc. My family of three ie me, my wife and son of 8 years were exited about flying.We were late by 30 min to reach the venue one hours drive from Jodhpur. Mr samarth and his team of two were all ready and so were some curious onlookers. After the customary briefing and signing of indemnity bond. My son was the first to be strapped up. Albeit my son looked tensed in the beginning the take off was smooth and he was airborne for over 5 minutes he was elated and wanted to fly again. My wife after being strapped up had to wait for some time and then had to be shifted to different venue as the wind was playing truant. Samarths assistant enlightened me that direction of wind had to be face on during take off to enable ascent and hence they had five different locations in the same zone. Wifey although being scared and after having a wrong start once was finally very happy after the flight. My turn to fly had to wait for more time as the wind was finicky. My take off was perfect and I was airborne however had to land halfway as the jeep pulling us stopped midway. I was once again scheduled for take off and this time samarth made it a point to give me the best moments of my life. The ascent was quick and I was cruising at 900 ft and after disengaging with the jeep we were cruising like a bird with an amazing view from the top. The literal meaning of the phrase birds eye view dawned on me at that moment. We then ascended to 1500 feet as we had got a thermal bubble and my pilot samarth deftly kept going up and showing me how he was doing it. The feeling at that moment was oh why I hadnt done this earlier in my life. The descent was even more exciting as the pilot offered to take me for a steep spin downwards and oh my gosh it was a heady one. Not for the faint hearted for sure. The landing again perfect and the flying experience mind blowing.The effort of traveling far, waiting for the wind to be conducive for over 4 hours paid off and moments being airborne are something that will remain with me for the lifetime.So fellow travelers and adventure lovers, I have written this unusually long review so that your doubts which I too had are cleared.BTW technically the entire flight you are strapped on with the pilot Mr samarth and he conducts the entire flying session. We have to just strap on the gear and run when he says to run and lo we are airborne in few steps of running. A jeep ahead holds a long string on a hydraulic winch and moves fast ahead pulling us along upwards in the sky. The jeep drives fast treating us like a kite. The pilot then disengages the string once we have achieved sufficient height and after some gliding, descends slowly. The difference between the parasailing that is done in many places like the beaches of Goa or sand dunes in jaisalmer is that the maximum height achieved is just 100 ft and one is always strapped on to string of the jeep or boat, whereas in this paragliding you are taken to great heights and then glide down, free from the rope attachment

When around Jodhpur, Do try Paragliding with semi-deserted breath-taking views. The pilot here Mr. Samarth is very kind, helpful and the best in his profession. The place is located 60 kms outskirts of Jodhpur but the instructor guides you well on how to reach the place and even provide pick up and drop service ( for extra charge). Overall, A beautiful experience that everyone must try. ✨

I recently flew with Samarth, and it was an awesome experience. He was a great guy and a complete professional. Very experienced, knows whats he doing. I never imagined it would be as fun as it was. If I could, Id just do it everyday. He and his team takes care of each little thing and they make sure you get the best possible experience. This for me is a must do in jodhpur. Also, he has this cool old jeep that is an experience in and of itself to go on a little ride.P.S. He sings really well :)

I along with 2 sons took this mind boggling adventure last month. No words to describe the thrills. No one should miss this activity if visiting Jodhpur. The time stands still up above in the sky. So thats how the birds look at us. The fun got to be experienced to believe. Special thanks to Samarth Sharma who all the time keeps you so relaxed up above. We had a glitch of bad weather and had only a day for the act. Dear Samarth was so co operative that he made special efforts to keep us away from disappointment and made quick arrangements as soon as the weather cleared up a bit. Thanks

Samarth is very enthu guy, he ll encourage you enough to fly in the air without any fear. The equipments are top notch in terms of safety (however there is a slight chance you may scrape yourself if you dont follow instruction correctly)

Its amazing. I think it is best in India because you actually feel that you are a bird and fly in the open sky. We touch the height of about 1500-1800ft.so whenever you are in jodhpur atleast try this.

For a 4 day trip in Jodhpur it is easy to get busy trying to visit all the forts and palaces that this lovely city has to offer. During our online search of the top things to do in Jodhpur, we happened to stumble across skyventures (not sure, why it is not advertised heavily), a paragliding service.We googled the site, saw a couple of awesomely well edited videos and read a couple of reviews and we knew we had to do this !. The process was pretty straight forward. You call the owner Mr Samarth, clarify your details, check on the time slot and book your spot online making a partial payment of the trip. The remaining has to be paid via cash, so make sure you have withdrawn enough.The place where this activity is carried out is in a village by the name of Korna which is about 10 Kms away from Agolai Village. The place is damn far from the actual Jodhpur City, about 60-70 odd kms. And no, no Ola or uber would take you there. So your essentially are left with only 2 options. The first option would be to hire a private vehicle and go there on your own. This works fine if you are going in the morning and can navigate the roads well. If you are going in the evening its better to hire a local driver who is well accustomed with the roads as there are no street lights for a good 80% of the travel distance. The second option would be to take Mr Samarth’s help as he has tied up with some local drivers who provide pick up and drop services. I chose the latter one. Enroute the travel, if you’re lucky you would be able to see ample of peacocks, deers and sheeps. Its awesome !Once you arrive at the destination, Samarth and his team could be seen assembling the equipments. A few exchange of pleasantries later, he introduces his team, and gives a quick 2 minute instruction on the equipments and safety procedure.Once you have your gear ready, its time to run, and well err fly. You would be taken airborne with the help of a rope attached to a jeep (propulsion). Samarth meanwhile navigates from behind you makes sure you get airborne in the first attempt itself. In my particular case it required 2 attempts, courtesy the wind !Anyways, once you are airborne, my goodness it is a site to behold. You are taken around 2500 ft in the air and you are quite literally flying. You get a birds eye view (quite literally indeed !) of the entire Korna village. The rush of adrenaline is just awesome and it is something that you need to experience atleast once.The flight time is around 10 minutes. Samarth is also wiling to do a few roller coasting type air maneuvers for those who seek extra thrill. You can record the whole thing if you have a go pro with you (and yes pls get a go pro) and those who don’t have one, I think Samarth provides that as well albeit with a cost.The landing was smooth which is why I am able to type this review today ! :)Loved the entire team and the whole experience

This was our first time Paragliding and SkyVentures ensured we had a great experience. The Paragliding site was a little over an hours drive outside the city of Jodhpur towards Jaisalmer. We rented a bike to reach the location. Skyventures team was in communication with us all the way to ensure we arrive at the correct location. The directions provided were on target and we had no problems getting there. The pilot ensured the wind conditions were spot on so as to ensure nobody got hurt. We had to however wait for over an hour to ensure the right wind conditions were in place. It was however well worth the wait. The overall flight was around 15 mins with around 10 minutes of air time. We used the GoPro provided by SkyVentures to record the session but carried our own microSD. The price paid was very reasonable and since it was off season we did not have to pay extra for the video and photo recording. The view of the desert at about 1600ft was fabulous and in fact there was lots of green patches in the desert unlike what we expected. The overall experience was smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend anybody visiting Jodhpur and interested in this activity to reach out to SkyVentures. Also if possible try to pick a time towards sunset which will enhance your experience two fold.
