This was our 7th visit to the resort and as always it was a memorable one. We have visiting this resort and the camp site with family, friends, dune bashing group and for impromptu drive from Jodhpur for dinner too. The ambiance, staff, service, food and hospitality never failed to impress us. From Karan to Arjun, Dharmendra to Suvendu, services are par excellence. Staff is very polite and courteous and more than willing to make your stay luxurious. Food is lavish and sumptuous. There are ample activities for solo travelers to large groups. We have stayed in their luxury tents also and the experience was out of the world. The GM was kind enough to make special dining arrangements for us on the dunes with campfire to survive the cold of 1 Jan night in the desert till 5 AM. If you love photography, this is the place for you. Since i love photography, this place has never disappointed me. It was a wonderful experience with samsara resorts n desert camp. We had a great time specially the desert safari n the cultural program organised by samsara. Romantic dinner on dune love to see the ambience at night on our wedding anniversary. Luxury tented suite was like a dream room. Should go once or twice its your choice bt go. Stayed at Samsara 1st Jan to 2nd Jan, in the desert tents.Beautiful setting, Good safari.Everything else was pathetic , food quality and service quality was horrible. The manager who was responsible for the property, Dharmendra Shekhawat had a NO to whatever we asked for, be it as basic as pakodas to basic starters. Starters cannot be served more then thrice, no action on anything that was pointed out as faultyAnything we asked for was either unavailable or delayed.Every thing we ordered from dinner to breakfast, everything was horrible. Uncooked food was served, water was coming out from flush, super delayed service. And an even bad attitude.Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Top end resort in the desert. Very calm & peaceful place. Design & structure top class. It is in the desert terrain but still very green. We stopped there for lassi on the way to Jaisalmer. Next time will definitely stop in this resort. It is a place to experience peace and calmness though they also provide jeeps for sunset safaris in the evening.

Samsara is a really great place to spend some quality time with family. Staff is really friendly and ready to provide whatever u need. Best part is they try to help you for making the stay comfortable. Food is really awesome and can get authentic local flavours of Rajasthan.

Awesome. The desert camp,, resort tastefully decorated with plants, trees, friendly staff, Customer focused, Very neat and clean and they maintain high class hygiene, Value for money. Extra effort taken by resort Managers and their team to excel beyond your expectation is something worth mentioning. Worth a visit again.

Very well maintained property, near to nature. Rooms are nice and spacious. They perhaps need stronger ACs as this area itself is so hot. Staff is courteous but may be they need more pro staff in catering specially. Breakfast is ordinary. They have a nice pool.

We stayed in the desert camp for a day in winters. I must say one of the most unique experience till now. The camps personified luxury - well built, extremely clean. The staff was very courteous and made us feel at home. The food was awesome. I personally searched alot before choosing the camp, but I must say it was a great choice.

Main Course of this place is really good, but cant expect much from snacks. Or it was holi celebration so, there was not much staff available due to which snacks were not good.Overall place good for stay.

Absolutely amazing property. Definitely suggest the desert camp, the ride to it with the step sand dune drops is breath taking. A must do. Best place for a true Thar desert experience. The food, service, maintenance is commendable but the reason Id go back is the absolutely beautiful view of the sand and the sky. Love 😁

Such a lovely place to stay....Truely a joy! Courteous staff. Very clean and tidy. Yummy food. I liked the menu . I Would definitely visit again with extended family.

Ok so the hotel is very nice and clean but in retrospect we shouldnt have stopped in Dechu. Behind the hotel there is a simple sand dune that was somewhat of a highlight. We climbed up and watched the sunset. We were totally alone and its obviously off the beaten path but we loved it. We also took a camel tour but I felt that was very touristy and somewhat lame. A Jeep takes you to a small dune area and then you go on a camel for 10-15min max. It feels more like riding a camel in a zoo versus nature as you see other tourists going same short route as you. If you want a desert experience go to Jaisalmer to Sam dune. Overall I would skip Dechu and go only to Jaisalmer and stay there a few days. Absolutely gorgeous!But again if you really do want to stop at Dechu - this is a great hotel.

Wonderful resort, services and food. We stayed at the desert tent for the night and enjoyed every bit.The evening began with a camel ride , followed by cultural programme at night, in the middle of the open area, the tents were well furnished and cozy. Morning after, we returned to the main resort after an exhilarating safari ride in the sand dunes. Highly recommend the place, especially for a chilly night, bonfire, music n celebration with friends. Special thanks to Mr Dharmender who took pains to courier back my shoes which were left at the resort.

Byfar the most beautiful resort I have ever been to. If budget isn’t a constraint, one must stay here and experience the beautiful pool, cultural festival in the desserts followed by the dinner, and dune bashing in the morning.The resort and tents both are very beautiful, and are located just nearby, however, I would strongly recommend staying in the resort for it’s comfort. You can enjoy the dessert ride and dinner even when you are staying in the resort.Suggested time to visit: Winters

A beautiful property!!! And literally a haven in the middle of desert. It was my second visit today and we thoroughly enjoyed the time here. The rooms are comfy with modern amenities, swimming pool is probably the best part about the property!!! However, we didnt enjoy the food at all. During our first visit as well food was below average and today it was beyond awful. The mix. Veg was stinking, Gatte ki sabzi was hopeless. AC was not working and.no water in the washroom. Food aspect needs a lot of improvement, rest the property is a great weekend getaway for people from Jodhpur and other nearby cities.

It was an amazing experience with Samsara Desert Camp.. The tents are beautiful anf equipped with all the necessary items.. The staff is polite, humble and take care of even smallest of details and requirement.. And were surprised that the are able to maintain the quality of food even at this remote place.. Overall would rate Samsara 10/10 for every aspect.

Beautifully maintained resort with friendly staff. Mobile connection is poor but it is a village resort. Wi fi is ok, not that fast. Food is good.

The hotel is beyond amazing & their rooms were very comfortable & clean & even their services were very good too, their staffs were very hospitable & I really liked the ambiance of this place but the only drawback is that no buses area available to this place so had to book a cab which made the whole trip too expensive.

Oasis, indeed. Well maintained place with a large pool and lawns. The cottage/room was pretty large with a real courtyard, however the fittings are little run down, which you wouldnt expect from a luxury resort. Food served was generic and average with one or two Rajasthani specialties, which were delicious.

Loved this place, perfect little get away from the hustle and bustle of India. The sunset and sunrise views are so pretty. The night time entertainment was fun and very lively!

Food was excellent; entertainment was enjoyable; tents were very comfortable; the Camel and Jeep safaris provided moments of true delight to both the adults (oldest 88 years) and kids (youngest 6) in our group.

Food is good; but costly as per the quality and service. Ambience is amazingly fantastic.

Splendid break for a couple of nights between jodhpur and jaisalmer. Also far better desert glamping experience than Sam dunes. Less crowded, personalized services and luxury aspect is further silver lining to it.

It is in a secluded place, we were the only guest in the resort. its big resort on Jodhpur to jaisalmer highway.due to few guests most of the services are not available.cost was ** with breakfast. they have camps also about 2km from the resort on sand dunes. which was good.

The resort and camp site are very good. Tent are big and luxurious. Staff is courteous. If having spare days, stay one night at resort and other at camp.

Tent experience was good. Although hotel was nice but someone going from Abroad I would recommend only doing the Tent stay and desert Safari. For the price the hotel was not that great as I had stayed at the Taj the night before in Jodhpur for similar price.

The quality of food at this camp is excellent. the live performances are really good and interactive with the crowd and makes them a part of the performance. we were upgraded to a special candle light dinner on top of the dune with a butler service. Was an amazing experience.

Well Maintain property, stay was pleasant & we enjoyed jeep and camel safari.

We had a day tripped planned here... And our experience was very much affected by two things, one was weather other was level of facilities provided. Ac wasnt working due to storm from last night but food was nice, staff was cooperative. Choose this for a day trip or a outing picnic but do finalise your prices before coming there maybe some confusion at last. Overall a average experience rating it 4-1 just because of ac werent working at that time.

Third class service. Local lads deployed for serving customers. Not understanding dignity of personnel visiting. Only plus is its spacious and decorated.

Do not have it in your internary. It is very costly and you just have to seat in the resort and there are no activities. They have some activities in their tent houses which are again very costly. You get similar experience in jaselmer in less price and it is better.
