Absolutely amazing food !!! Best of Jodhpur !!! This ‘No Frills’ gem is well known to locals and is an annual pilgrimage for our family. Visit on Saturday for “Kabuli” and “Chakki Ki Subji”. It would be crime to leave without sampling “Lassi”. Also try to squeeze in their “Laccha Paratha” and “Dal” topping the meal with “Masala Papad”. You don’t even need to pay for their star attraction “Lahsun Ki Chattani”, which accompanies every meal. I know - bring your appetite and you may want to skip dinner after a guilt free lunch.

Hotel is located in main city so here trafic is common...most of time u cant park bike and car Here....hotel food item taste is good.....but I give 4 star because hotel sitting management is not good. Lassi taste is awesome..

One of the best place to eat in Jodhpur. You will love the Food definitely. You will always find this place with people. Their famous items are Vegetables names on sweets and their chapati is abnormal. And the chatni they serve is also incredible. This is the real taste of Jodhpur. This shop is very old. Must visit if you have time.Only problem is of finding a proper parking because it is located at corner and you have to go 200-300-400 m for parking.

Must go place at jodhpur..Anything and everything here is super delicious..My fave being dal tadka , gulab jamun ki sabji, paneer.. and in winters one can enjoy Haldi ki sabji and kabuli..It might be over 80 years or even older place and is amazingly good

Really Ultimate taste. If you are aware about real rich taste, you will definitely enjoy the food here. They use Mawa/Khoya gravy with high content of deshi ghee in each sabzi. So if you love oily and little spicy food, go there but if you dont like oily food, avoid this place.If you are comfortable to share your table with anonymous, go there but if you need privacy and seperate seating arrangements, dont go there. Food options are limited.It is a very congested place. But very old and popular place to have a lunch or dinner.

The place is known for quirky sabjis that they serve like gulab jamun sabji, rasmalai sabji etc. But they are basically khoya kofta without chasni. All aabjis are made in desi ghee. They are serve local sweets and kabuli (local version of Biryani). Do not expect much from ambiance or service. But worth exploring delicacies if you are in Jodhpur.

Unusuall menu card.. special sabji should be tried, all are tasty. Well managed hotel in a limited space and good service. Almost crowded at lunch n dinner time. Ahhh what a food they have . Under the small roof with the name of Shandar sweet home . Really there food is Shandar!!! The Turmeric +garlic + onion + ghee is a must try but take it half for a heavy appetite person. Then keep space for the final take that is lassi . You will be full to your throat.

This is an iconic place and one must visit on a trip to Jodhpur . Do try the Gulab Jamun Curry along with Fulka or Tandoori Roti. The Kabooli here is a must try too. End this up with Mawa Cream dessert and youre sorted :)

One of the best eating joints in jodhpur...Super amazing tasty food - the gulab jamun Sabji and malai kofta sabji are super Shandaar as the name and the kabuli (super rich savoury rice preparation) is mind blowing. The lassi is out of this world and the mawa creme is worth a visit to this place.

A must visit if you want to taste traditional rajasthani food in general and jodhpur food in particular. The there is crunch of sitting space but the food is totally worth it and quite economical. The staff is also really cooperative.

Service is faster than current and still theyll be humble. Don’t you judge the book by its cover, this is a common saying and very apt for this place.From outside this restaurant looks like a shady place, but believe me it is not from the inside.The best thing here is the FOOD, it is just wow I have heard that all the curries here are prepared in DESI GHEE, which gives them that amazing taste.The service is prompt, the staff here is very responsive and polite.Try the lassi , mava cream and fruit cream lastly also try the masala papad here itvis way different from what you would have had anywhere else.

Its like choti dukan with tasty pakwaan treasure. We tried gulab jamun ki sabji (suggested by a friend) and it was really good...😀 Lachha paratha was too yummy with lots of ghee, even I can eat the paratha without any gravy. We also tried haldi(turmeric) ki sabji, it was good too.. this is an ultimate place to try something crazy 🤪

Quite liked it.No restroom - had to use a very dirty swach bharat public restroom.Narrow staircase to the first floor. Very cramped place - quite crowded, popular with locals .

People had recommended going to this place to eat their special Gulab Jamun Sabsi and Rasmalai Sabsi. If you like sweet sabsi then i would definitely recommend trying their unique sabsis. The place is a small place and not very fancy, but food lover should go here to experiment and try their dishes

When it comes to taste shandar is justify its name. Restaurant is very crowded & there is shortage of space. If you are in jodhpur this is a must visit place. Delicious Desi Ghee Food. I had Haldi ki sabji

I loved their super weird tasty dishes. Never had Gulab jamun dish and they have a lot more of such dishes to go and try for. All of their dishes are cooked in clarified butter. Will go and try Their famous dal and kabooli tomorrow. Kabooli is kind of vegetable biryani which people recommend to have. Place is quite conjusted and dining area is not so big. There is a separate section for family. Would recommend to try this place once you are in Jodhpur.

Taste is the key of this restaurant and i have never seen any other restaurant who can match this level of taste in their food and its not expensive either compared to other show off restaurants out there.....
