Worst experience with Nirvana restaurant(cafe) not even starter was good ( masala papadtooo salty 😑)..Main course took nearly 1.5 hrs to get served and that too with not even close to expectation dont waste your valuable time and money here,there are many other options in jodhpur

A very well located place with huge rooms. The staff has been very kind and listened to our needs. The terrace has one of the most beautiful view on the old town and the fort. The only issue is due to the fact that the place is not well designed for cold temperatures as it was the case in December when we were there. The lack of heater was the main issue we had during our 2 nights stay.

Everything about this place was great. Im definitely going back there. Staff is friendly and helpful. View is mesmerizing. If you book suite youll get the best of this place. Loved it. I cant get enough of this place. I didnt feel like I was staying at hotel. Staff actually made us feel like at home. Hygiene was top notch.

Firstly we stayed here for a night. Our stay here was memorable. As we entered the hotel we could see beautiful garden with colored potted plants , temple. From our room we saw the Mehrangarh fort view and the entire blue city. Bhom singh bhayya told us about history of this hotel and rich culture of Jodhpur. Tasty breakfast and quite good ambience.Overall had a decent experience in this hotel. Thank you 🙏

They made special arrangements for celebrations also.I recommend this place to have amazing in city experience with fort view experience while having food or from rooms as well. Located near Ghanta Ghar, its kinda difficult to locate it. But once you did, Its one the best places to visit while in Jodhpur.We were told that Its a 300 years old Haweli now converted to guesthouse and a restaurant.You will receive a warm welcome by Bhom Singh and Ajay Singh who will tell you about the place and you have three dining places to have food.Food was tasty. We ordered special Thali which costs about 450/- (photos attached below)Thanks to Bhom Singh and Ajay Singh for the hospitality ❤️

Its in the middle of a busy market area, The Sardar Market. Lots of shopping opportunity and great local food. The hotel is part of an old traditional building, complete with a temple, traditional wall paintings and a beautiful courtyard and terrace that overlooks the busy market on one end and the the fort on the other. However, one cannot approach the hotel by car. The staff is helpful and responsive, they helped us with the bags from the nearest traffic circle. The food is good if a bit pricey. The rooms are well equipped, clean and tidy. Depending on the location of the room, the view can be breathtaking.

Never want to go again just because of dusty rooms, corridor. No complimentry drinking water, no room upgrade facility and there is nothing complimentary inside room. Food is okay!

Gardening was superb, Food is expensive, Service is super super great just because of 2 staff Bhom singh Rathore Manager and Montu bhaiya.......they handle everything soo greatly and they are so sweet and polite, just because of them your journey is going to be super in service

Please try and avoid staying here. In case you would choose to stay, please keep your expectations low. The normal rooms are small and shabby. They dont even bother providing glasses, water jugs, tea coffee makers and cupboards. The rooms are dusty and not clean. There is no concept of daily room cleaning, you need to tell them twice or thrice for some one to come up and clean .The washrooms are totally broken. Plumbing is haywire. TVs are there but hard to get any channels.Location wise this is located in the middle of a market and is safe. Easy communication modes are available.In case youre staying here, please choose the double deluxe and suite rooms. Please dont go for standard double rooms.

Staying in an old palace in the middle of market was an Authentic experience. Location was great. Walking distance to fort, blue city and clock tower. Staff were very nice and accommodative. The only issues were that we didn’t always get hot water for shower and wifi. Their laundry service was weak as well. Overall a nice experience

Nothing like this place. A 250+ year old tmeole turned into this beautiful property. It was a very special experience to stay at this hotel. Food is very tasty and service is also very good. Although, problem of parking can be faced.

Well, its Jodhpur.A place blessed with great culture, delicious food, authentic places, great views, historic landmarks. And it is one of the best example.It has exotic views, punctual hospitality.

Lets start with the positive things about this place. Ambience is nice and the rooftop view is the fort. They also have a small garden and a temple inside. They have pure veg rooftop restaurant as well. Which is a bit expensive. Hotel is located at the city centre and tourist spots are nearby.Now the negatives, first of all they dont have parking. And they dont let their guests know that in advance. We reached in the nearest square at around 6pm and there were no way to reach with a car to hotel. We had to call them many a times and ask for the alternatives. Then their service staff came and let us know that you would have to park your car somewhere on the road parking and walk/ take auto to the hotel as the hotel is in the middle of bazar which is crowded till 10pm. We literally had to wait till around 9:30 pm outside the hotel as we had a lot of baggage in the car. Second thing, when we visited, at the hotel entrance there is a massive flow of drainage water. Then to continue, their rooms are small and TVs are never working. We had to call service staff many times to tell that the TV is not working. Till the end of our stay, TV in our room was not operational. Also there are no street lights near the hotel, so if are out at the night do carry torch light with you. Overall good place if you are not going by car.

Well, I personally loved this hotel/haveli just bcoz of these reasons:1) Location - Its located at Center of the city and walking distance to Nayi Sadak. If you are in Jodhpur you hv to come to this place once so better to stay nr this place only. Also Fort is about 4-5 km from this hotel so very convenient location.Cons: - Parking facility is not available so its very hard to find parking place near hotel Evn its only one way street so you have to park your car outside of the street on road side parking.2) Hotel - Hotel is really good in terms of ambiance and looks like Haveli from outside. Theres a beautiful temple inside the hotel. Co-operative and Polite staffIts a single floor hotel and when you take stairs to Terrace, you gonna be amazed with the Fort view. Also theres an open terrace dining so dinner in night will make your stay worth. Serves good food in economical rates.Cons: -Reception desk is not that quick and they took almost 20 mins for the checkout formalities- They Do lot of Miscommunication- Hotel management is little weak- They charge lot of service tax. 1 Coffee pot services charge is INR 25 and its really high. They even take service charge on water bottle so 1 Mineral water bottle charge is INR 48- We took dinner at Terrace and they added RoomService charge in that total amount which was totally wrong and I have to ask them to remove those charges 3) Room: I stayed in standard room and it was nice room. (Inc - AC, RO water bottle, Towels, Cupboard, TV, WaterHeater, 2 small Tables and 1 Chair)Cons:- Room Service was not that quick, No 24 hrs service, Staff wakes up around 7 AM and thn only serve Tea or CoffeeA Good place to stay I would say but make sure to check your bills twice before making payment.

Hotel itself is a tourist attraction with a Temple and lot of plants inside. City View is very good. Staff is good and cooperative. Issues are- It is in a narrow street therefore 4 wheeler drop/pick at a distance of around 60 Meter from the hotel. Food is little costly.

Its was very good experience. Most highlighted point of The hotel is very near to Fort Mehrangarh. Hotel is situated in very crowded market, so no place for parking. However, menu of the hotel is also very expensive in comparison of nearby good restaurants.Bed linen n cushions can be improve.Hotel staff behaviour is very supportive n helpful..

Had a lovely 3-Day stay here. Though I was mostly in and out and only stayed in the room for the nights, I had a very pleasant stay. The staff here is very polite and service to your room is quick. The standard room was also quite good and a very neat washroom. Only Complain is that the in-house restaurant is quite expensive. The location is terrific, as its close to the station (1.6 km) and also nearby attraction. If youre backpacking, or if you are just visiting Jodhpur its a worthwhile stay.

The hotel position is perfect, in the middle of the bazar. The place, an old hindi temple, is wonderful, room are big and clean, there is a terrace with a view and the restaurant is very good. Reception manager and restaurant manager Bhom Singh are very kind.

The hotel building is very unique and nice with its old temple character, a courtyard, different terraces and many plant pots as well as a richly painted indoor restaurant and a small temple. All is clean and the staff is at your service all the time. The location is in the middle of the market, close to train station and fort. The rooftop restaurant offers a great view to the fort. For people with light sleep the speakers of a very close mosque might be disturbing. Some of the staff members dont know any English but the staff at the reception does and is always ready to help.

Room was good for a night stay.. Had a good view of the Mehrangarh Fort from the roof top restaurant.. Issue is with the hotels location.. It is located in a congested bazaar area where parking will be an issue.. So the hotel should be contacted for parking assistance in advance before arrival.. its fully a vegetarian hotel..Staff were cooperative.. In all it was a pleasant stay.

We didnt stay at this hotel, but tried the restaurant on the rooftop. I think this was the best food we had in the region.When we arrived nobody else was there so we started doubting our choice and we were extremely happy we decided to stay. I dont remember what we ordered from the vegetarian options, but everything was delicious and the service extremely friendly.

Food was good. Service was a bit strange, creepy waiter, standing right behind you as you try and eat. Also mentions that all their guests tip 2000rupees per meal, just hinting for us to tip big, because of his obvious hint I did not tip big at all (normally would) actually asked if that was it when I tipped, very ungrateful and then not friendly and did not even clear the table nor say goodbye with a smile. Worth it for the food and view, just tip and do as you please do not let them push you into tipping more. Also a tip do not tell them where you stay, if they know you are in a good hotel they will expect more money. Just say up the road ;)

We stayed here for our first two nights in Jodhpur before heading on to Jaisalmer and back to Jodhpur - I wish we had booked here for our return nights as well. Nirvana is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the peace and tranquility during hectic travels in India. The whole place feels personal and quirky, not your cookie cutter hotel. Rooms are up steep haveli steps, and our suite had lime stone painting in bedrooms and a sitting area, all decorated with taste and care. Naren and jayanti took excellent care of us, and steered us towards some great places in Jodhpur as well.

The hotel is located at the centre of the city. Hotel staff was very courteous and humble.My room was on the terrace and believe me the view from the room is just awesome. The sunlight on wall of mehengarh fort was mesmerising.The hotel amenities are not good and food is also expensive.Overall a very nice stay.

I stayed over there and my stay was outstanding. Hotel is completely value for money. Every thing was smooth there. facilities are satisfactory. Service was wonderful over there. Hotel is located on the prime location and easy to find the hotel. Nice accommodation and hospitality was available over there. Regarding cleanliness its a very neat and clean.

Hello We checked into Nirvana homes on 25th Dec & checked out on 27th.We booked a suite room by name Sagar Arora and did payment in advance as per policy (for a couple). From our experience, we dint find out the room to be a suite room, it was just a ordinary room with normal facilities. In room size, the room was not even accommodating two person at a time. And it also lacked in space to keep our two suitcases.There was no regular water for shower in washroom, lack of electricity light in washroom, mosquitoes were all over the room.Though we requested to change our room and provide us a better suite room but no one at hotel responded to our request. Every time we were giving same statement that it is the best room with best view from window.On second day, we requested to clean our room as we were leaving for day out (for approx 4-5 hours), and on reaching back to hotel, our room was in condition as we left. On speaking with the manager, he said house keeping staff was occupied in cleaning and maintaining other rooms.In short we find that we were cheated by giving us an ordinary room in place of Suite room.In other aspects, food and location of hotel was good.Thank YouSagar Arora

- if you are traveling by a four wheeler you dont have a parking at this place, they arrange at distance location for parking & you need to pay for it & transportation of luggage from that place to hotel is by Auto for which again pay from your pocket.-located in a narrow galli in the densely crowded market area, you can not even enter during the market hours.- Helpers are really helpers & polite but the person at front office is little harsh and treats guests as if he is doing favours free of cost- standard rooms are relatively small, no space even to walk around the bed- Food is expensive & taste is okayishOnly wonderful thing about this place is ambiance of haveli & Views of the fort from terrace restaurantNot a value for money place!

Nice hotel to stay. Hotel Stall is Co-Operative. Instant Room service. Only Location is in the main market (Clock Tower Market) so no facility for car Parking. People needs to park car far away. Restaurant is on tarrace so Fort view is there in the restaurant. Very nice Shree Ram Temple is inside the Hotel.

Decent and good service.

We wandered down here through the market to an entrance that I must say wasnt too inviting. Up a set of stairs to a rooftop with the most beautiful fort view, there was one other table here and it was very dark with just candlelit. The service was quick and we opted for the Thali which was huge and good once we finished it took some time to get a waiters attention to ask for the bill. As we left it was about 10pm and the street outside was very dark and made me feel very uncomfortable to walk down. Any solo travelers I would warn off walking down here at night and even through the market especially women travellers. I know this isnt the responsibility of the restaurant but it unfortunately negatively impacted our experience.

Worst experience of hotel stay so far..rooms r really in bad condition washroom even worst..full of cockroaches, no hot water n hotel staff dont knw y there is no hot water, no body even ready to provide it. We got after requesting again n again for two hrs. Mattresses r uneven, dirty blankets, tv in pathetic condition, no maintenance of bed n if u complain they will say this is only we have. Only food taste was good n kitchen staff was good rest only the outer look. Totally not recommended for stay. Please dont waste your money, the room for which they are charging ******rs is not even worth ****. Given 1 rating just for food or else they deserve nothing.

Located in the market where all kind of shopping and Toor ji jhalari Baori is on walking distance. It is 150-200 mtrs away from Nai Sadak or Ghanta Ghar. Room & Toilet aràe of standard size. Staffs are very coardial, cooperative & helpful.

Giving 1 star because 0 star review is not possible.I had a really bitter experience at the hotel.Poorest way of handling guests, dirty toilets and rooms.I booked the best room they had to offer still got a room which is worst then a 300₹ priced room.Asked for a refund but hotel staff is such a nightmare to talk to that they refused to refund. But Still i coudnt stay there and had to book another hotel as i had family with me, which was exhausted and tired due to long travel.Not recemonded to any one.Hotel is located on the very busy street, so if you are comfortable with sleeping with noise despite other factors, you can consider booking.

It is an old built and renovated by Lodhi Group and really it is a good blend of culture and comfort as it is adjoined by a hindu temple. Horrible location! No stars !No Parking! Carry your Luggage from streets!Location is horrible Smells nasty ! Small streets & besides a Masjid! one has to carry the luggage on the dirty streets from Ghantaghar which is 200 mtrs to the hotel! Police doesnt allow parking near the hotel place! No place for family ! Water pressure is purposely reduced ! Shrewd owners ! Service boys are good and helpful ! Rooftop is nice & pleasant but slow service ! Wifi works in corridor only ! Rooms are clean Not Recommended ! Was wrongly impressed by reviews & photos !Visited 2 yrs back got the response from hotel after 2 yrs! Haha jokers so pasted my old review !
