Very nice school. The only school in our locality to allow active subject in higher secondary. Many excursions are held. The students are also very bright. Madhyamik seats are often laid here. Nice teaching faculty. Very nice sportsground. Large number of students study here. Students come from many adjoining villages and towns by bus. Just beside the road. Therefore there is no trouble of transport. Very well connected to other places.

A school of repute in this area. it was establish in 1941. By the villagers own effort. At first it was built as a primary school in 1921.aprox. then it was upgraded to middle school then high school and later it has become a higher secondary school. It is situated beside the Purulia Barakar road. At the end of the Jhapra village.
