In the history of this place, we find that it was the original dwelling place of her father Ramchandra Mukhopadhyaya.Sarada Ma got married from this place when she was nine years old.The temple is dedicated to the holy mother by Swami Saradananda on the third day of the lunar half of the month of Baisakh, also known as Akshaya Tritiya.This was on the 19th of April, 1923. The mandir is named as Sri Sri Matri Mandir.

Very nice place to find some peace. Here the monks warship god by placing a child among the god. And its called Nara Narayan Puja.

This is the birthplace of Ma Sarda Devi. The place is not very big but very peaceful. If mental peace is what you are looking for, this is the place to go to.

The place is famous for birthplace of Ma Sarada. Ma Sarada spent her early age at the place where the Math is situated. Many devotees from all over India as well as world come to the Math to attain the prayer at morning and evening in the temple of Ma Sarada situated inside the Math. Surrounding environments in the Math campus including prayer in the Masarda temple at morning and evening that are created by monks of Masarada Math give peace to all devotees.Lodges and guest houses are available under the Math in Jairambati. Veg foods are available at breakfast, lunch, evening and dinner in Math for devotees who stay in the lodges and guest houses of Math. Devotees who do not stay in the guest house of Math can take lunch with a lunch coupon that is provided by Math office by price Rs. 30/-.

Sarada Devi was born on 22nd December 1853 as the first child of a pious couple, Ramachandra Mukherji and Shyama Sundari Devi who were living in Jayrambati of Bankura district in West Bengal. The family was very poor, and from childhood Sarada helped her parents in various household chores and brining up her younger brothers. She had no formal schooling, and could hardly read. Perhaps thats why she had a great desire to spread education amongst the masses specially for the girls and boys of lower depth. To materialise Holy Mothers dream, this school started humbly as a night school during the life time of Sri Sarada Devi with the patronage of Srimat Swami Saradanandaji Maharaj.

It is the birth place of Maa Sarada Devi .It is a holy place .According to Wikipedia ,Sri Sarada Devi was born in this village in 1853.This village with its sacred traditions has become a holy place of pilgrimage, particularly among followers of Sri Ramakrishna. On one occasion, the Holy Mother, after touching the dust of this place with her forehead, remarked, Ones own mother and the land of birth are even far superior to Heaven.

This is a spiritual & holy place for me! Me & my family are devotes of Thakir Shri Ramakrishna Paramhongsho Dev & Shri Maa Sarada Devi, so why this place means a lot to us. And taking prasad in lunch was the best thing ever have! Feeling lucky to be there and able to watch that holy place where Maa Sarada Devi born & passed most of the time of her life. Most importantly, Ramakrishna Math is taking the great care of that place and keep that place as it used to be in her time. Wish to come back here again & again.

Peaceful place. Great for meditation. Has parking lot and guest house facility. This place is actually not directly maintained by Ramakrishna mission. It has own library and bookstore as well as stores for local made handicrafts. Almost every such Ramakrishna Temples organise Swanirbhar Prashikshan workshop for skill development or rural folks. Materials made by them are mostly essence sticks, natural and pure honey, several handicrafts even electrical and electronic instruments. When you are here, also visit singhabahini Temple and Hridayram Mukhapadhayas place located nearby. Photography inside Mandir premises is not allowed.

The campus is large.A nice divine place.

There is no existence of Ramakrishna Sarada Math in this Globe. Pl delete it.Sri Sri Matri Mandir, Joyrambati belongs to Ramakrishna Math, Belur which makes Joyrambati famous. Its in different location.
