Joynagar Primary School is one of the oldest primary schools of this region. It was established in the year of 1954. At present nearly one hundred students are enrolled in this school. There are three teaching staff including a mistress to provide Child Centric teaching to the kids. Though the number of teaching staff is insufficient, they try their heart and soul to promote the school to the best position of this circle. Besides the teaching-learning process, the teachers encourages the students to participate into the different types of extra-curricular activities like singing, dancing, drawing, hand crafting, recitation, playing indoor and outdoor games, free hand excercises etc. to bring about their all round development. The students are also taught how to maintain their personal hygiene such as washing hands before taking meals and also after using the toilet. The teachers also try to motivate them to build up sense of sympathy and cooperation among themselves.
