Nice place to stay in Jaunpur. Situated in the main Market. Parking is a bit issue here. Hotel staff was good and responsive.

New hotel (opened Dec 2017). So you can expect better rooms than others in the area. The water geysers in the room are very small. So, hot water for shower is a problem. But the service quality is poor. They need to understand that service is important in hospitality industry.

Beautifully decorated rooms. Luxury bed with 6 pillows. Air conditioned room. Nice lights. There are many things available in the room such as more than 80 cm TV, AC, telephone, electronic coffee and tea makin pot, small fridge, beautiful cubbord, two beautiful chairs, one semi sofa, big mirror, attached beautiful bathroom. Bathroom have geyser, mirror, western toilet, toilet paper, wash basin, shower, big and small towel, shampoo, oil, talc, conditioner. Staffs behaviour is very good. Room service is good. There is a restaurant at hotels ground floor. 2.8 Km from Jaunpur city station. Auto rickshaw is easily available. Check-in and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

This place is awesome 👍 but little bit expensive

The service at this hotel was really bad. The blanket have pulses spot on it and when requested to change they changed it after eight hours. I didnt use although the Ac was working. The staffs are really bad. They didnt listen customer complaint. Also in one night there was no electricity completely and only Ac was working no lightning. I didnt slept well due to this. They remain firm in not taking action when you complain. Although I have complementary breakfast the restaurant people told me I can only get one food items and served it after 30 minutes of waiting time. Overall I never get such harsh treatment in any hotel.

Zero star for this hotel.Most dirtiest, ugliest & worst Hotel ever visited in my life.Kindly check the pics posted.Only Cons:1- Lift never works. (Some of the person who have stayed here few months back also said that it was not working at that time also. They had also complained that in September even ACs of their rooms were kept off from reception area & after several rounds of followups they switched on the MCVs)2- Room telephone dont work, so one has to call at their mobile number for all room services.3- Untrained & very unprofessional staff.4- Although they have machine for card payments, but they will give excuse of poor internet connection or card machine out of order & insist customers for cash payments only.When I kept insisting that I dont have cash for payment they took out machine & said that there is a network issue & machine is not working etc etc, but on swapping my card the payment was done instantly.5- After a customer has checked out, they dont seem to believe in changing bedsheets, blanket covers etc. They simply tucks in bedsheets & hands over the same to their next customer.There was lots of long female hairs on floor & on bed.They room which I got, its bedsheets & blanket cover had dirty stains of oil, curry & mud left by the earlier room occupants & when I informed them they said that they dont have fresh or washed linens to replace & suggested to adjust with it..😩6- Towel was also not given at the time of check in (around 9 pm) & said that they dont have fresh or washed Towels to give & again suggested to adjust till morning..😩 . So I management with my hanky.In the morning they didnt gave any towel till 9 am & when I asked to send one as it was already too delayed, they handed over a very dirty & ugly used towel & when I complained them about this, they said that they dont have a washed towel & advised to wait for a couple of hours.7- And at last when I was left with no choice & went to take a bath, but here another surprise was awaiting..Their taps & water tank had run out of water by then 😩Again another painful ordeal of followup for switching on the motor to fill tanks started.. They said that have tuned on the water motor & the tank will be filled soon.Even after half an hour there was no single drop of water in the taps & they still suggested me to wait.Finally I got down two floors from Room # 203 to the ground floor reception & asked them that why the hell there was no water even after half an hour.. but got no satisfactory answer. I was surprised when these idiots gave me another room number 204s key & asked to take bath there & when I asked them whey they didnt tell this earlier, again by their attitude it seemed that they were not at bothered in resolving customer issues..To my surprise there were other occupants in other rooms also who were also facing the same issues & were also very annoyed.So friends would suggest to please opt this hotel only if you dont have any other option.Stay at your own risk..Instead there is decent Hotel named Raghuvanshi opposite this hotel which is good as per friends feedback who have stayed there as well.You will have to prepay & later they are hardly bothered about you.If someone who has stayed here & hasnt faced any problem, TOH AAP LUCKY THE..

Poor service and poor staff..rude behavior and answers are not polite. It is a zero value for money and the fun part is that the hotel is too highly priced for such a location. The rooms are badly maintained , stinky, dirty. How come, they even give a room to the new customer without even cleaning it..poor and torn linen used in the room

Hotel Purvanchal is a good budget accommodation in Jaunpur city. This hotel is situated in very busy market of Jaunpur. Good Rooms and Good food with a good quantity. Cleanliness and service is very poor. Parking problem and entrance problem is also there.

Hotel is among the better hotels in Jaunpur, considering the quality of other hotels in this city, couldve given this hotel 3.5 stars (but Google doesnt support that).The entrance to the hotel is through the restaurant; interesting!Lift facility available.Rooms are spacious enough, linens are clean, washrooms have small geyser facility but cleanliness should be improved.Theres a cool thing with the room lights - everytime you turn them on, they glow in a different color - orange, yellow & white!!Theres a fridge in the room as well, empty, cost-cutting!No Wi-Fi. No laundry service. No HD channels on TV.Food is OK in taste but expensive.Service is satisfactory.Hotel has a party hall where, when music plays, the whole building vibrates!Hotel seems to have generator backup.Theres accommodation for drivers & parking space whose entrance wont admit big vehicles.
