Shetla Mata Dham also called as Choukia Mata Mandir is worshipped as kuldevi and newly married couples come here to take blessings for happy married life. There are cooking and parking places available. Prasad is cooked here and then offered to Devi Mata.

Shitala Chaukiya dham Mandir is in Jaunpur .The mandir is about 04km. distance from Jaunpur city.The people come from very far distance to have darshan in this temple. The people have lot of faith in this temple.I have heard people saying there many unfinished task got fulfilled having darshan of godess.The mandir is very congested. The mandir authirity should take measures for cleanliness of surrounding. The mandir has one pond that is not maintained properly.I am observing this temple since my childhood am not found any much change near by area although population has changed almost 20 times since my childhood. Mandir administration must have good dharmshala as per the present requirement.There should be ample bathroom and public toilets .The sanitation of mandir surrounding is must. There should be one beautiful public park close to mandir. The govt.should run the public transport system quite frequently from Jaunpur bus depot.The amenity of water for pilgrims should be adequate.The mandir authirity should visit in South India temples for appraisal of temple time to time . There is utmost need this temple can be a beautiful pilgrims destination if mandir authirity change their obscurantist introspection.My appeal to devout people visit in this temple please put in demand local administration for the above mentioned requirenent.Jai mata kee.
