A fine park in the city dedicated to the famous revolutionary Sardar Bhagat Singh, one of the main heroes of the Indian freedom struggle. Maintenance is the responsibility of the Nagar Palika Parishad and the maintenance of the park is being done well. On the national festivals including Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singhs Birthday and Martyrdom Day, programs are organized every year especially by various organizations and people of the enlightened class. The smell of rotten garbage in the vegetable market on the way to the park discourages the families of the city from visiting this park. The situation did not improve despite the earlier senior officials taking cognizance of the dirt lying around the only park located in the northern part of the city.
